Again, this Reading List is based off Wattpad's Featured List and other reading sites Featured List. This Monthly Curated List is created and changed upon the month theme. The month's theme can be found on our bio.

As opposed to the Hidden Gems list, the selection is more narrow and can be genre-exclusive. A full difference/similarity chart is at the end of this article.

⏵⏵⏵ KEEP IN MIND

Before you dive in, though, ensure your recommendation meets these guidelines:

1. The recommendation can be your own work(s). However, your submission must follow the month theme. If it doesn't, we will discard it and you'll have to resubmit.

2. At the submission form, please be sincere at the part where we ask for your comment and why you recommended this book.

3. Your recommendations cannot be the founder or the co-host's works.

4. LGBT+ and Mature are acceptable.

5. Any genre is eligible for recommendation, including Poetry and Fanfiction. But, be sure your books contain elements we required for the month's theme.

6. International books are encouraged, welcomed and allowed.

⏵⏵⏵ SUBMISSION CRITERIA

1. Grammar and Spelling. We're committed to showcase good, quality works that have decent spelling and grammar. Please ensure your submission don't contain numerous grammar and spelling mistake.

2. Preferably, the submission should have a decent, aesthetic book cover. However, if the content is absolutely terrific, we'll accept it nonetheless.

3. Follow the Wattpad Guidelines

4. For series, all books in the series will be added. However, please specified in the form that it is a series.

5. Preferably completed or frequently updated books.

Please be aware that not all submissions will be added, but we thank you for taking the time to suggest these amazing works with us.

⏵⏵⏵ SIMILARITIES/DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HIDDEN GEMS READING LIST AND MONTHLY CURATED COLLECTION

Similarities:

1. They both open for international books, accept diverse content (ie. LGBT+ and Mature works), and welcome every genre.

2. Both are created to increase exposure and support for undiscovered works.

3. Both are hand-picked by Eva (@EPrescott)

Differences:

1. There are 10 Hidden Gems Reading Lists, but only 1 Monthly Curated Collection.

2. You can submit your works for consideration, for Monthly Curated Collection. However, you cannot submit your own work for the Hidden Gems Lists, somebody else must recommend you.

3. Hidden Gems Reading Lists is refreshed yearly (meaning the next refresher will be September 2019) and follow no particular theme or genre, aside from the Gems Scouter's taste. The number of books in each Reading List can be up to 100 or more. Monthly Curated Collection is refreshed monthly, following a particular theme and can be genre-exclusive. There will be 30 books, max, per Curated Collection. Your book might get re-featured if the theme overlapped.
