Leon is dreaming about the Lillia he remembers and knows. How she would cry alone sometimes and he would have to come and remind her that she is not to cry without him to wipe them away. How she found the light in things, including his very own heart. How much of a trouble magnet she was, and all the times that Leon had to protect her. Her normal everyday smile was burned in Leon's mind and heart. That other Lillia...that he saw yesterday...was not Lillia at all, no matter what she said her name was.
Leon: "Urgh..."
Leon stirred in his sleep, hugging himself, laying on the hard ground. His mind wandered to when he first brought Lillia to his place. Past the door, on that beautiful scene on Earth, where Leon would always go whenever he needed to calm down and be alone. Lillia was the only person he shared it with. His eyes snapped open in the middle of his dream.
Leon: "Ah...AH! Hah...gah, what the...?"
Something had occurred to him...that the garden he had just saw that other Leon meet the other Lillia at...it couldn't be that garden...could it?
Leon: "But when Lillia saw it...she acted like she had never seen it before. There is no way that disappointing King-version of Lillia could of had made that place..."
Lillia: "Where is this place? Why are all the humans walking around? Is there war again-?"
Leon Regulus: "Ah! No...it normally like this!"
Lillia: "With all you humans packed together like this, you could all suffocate."
Leon watched as Lillia familiarly raises her right hand, fingers ready to snap. Leon Regulus seemed to figure out what Lillia was going to do.
Leon Regulus: "N-no! Don't do that! Seriously...I am already having a hard time believing what you told me last night..."
Lillia: "What is so very hard to believe, Leon Regulus? Am I not proven enough for you?"
Leon Regulus: "What is that supposed to mean?"
Lillia: "You seem to have been shocked at last night's demonstration."
Leon Regulus: "No regular person can fly or make food appear! And I've never seen that kind of fruit before!"
Lillia: "It seems no different than to you humans' apples. Though you treated it like it was poison."
Leon Regulus: "It taste like an apple, though with a very silky and sweet taste at that, but it looks like some pink pearl, and I've never seen it before..."
Leon watch the two walk in front of the alleyway he was in. He can see that the other Leon had tried to have Lillia wear something that wouldn't show that she was...not human. But her aura, even to Leon from how he is right now, was still very powerful and demanding. Leon still couldn't believe that the woman was even Lillia.
Leon Regulus: "Here we are..."
Lillia: "Do you humans-"
Leon Regulus: "C-can't you say...something else...?"
Lillia: "Is there a problem with what I say?"
Leon Regulus: "Everyone will think you're weird..."
Lillia: "I appreciate your...let's say, excessive display of honesty, though wouldn't one find it over on their emotions that it would harm them?"
Both Leons thought that Lillia's way of words was more harder to decipher than the King's. Lillia's lips pull into a small smile that Leon had never seen before. A smile that Leon was ever so jealous that she was sharing to what Leon still thought was an imposter of him.
Lillia: "I apologize. In your case of understanding, I guess you can say...that you are very honest and is not fearful of expressing your emotions and thoughts. Though, sometimes it might come to me as a shock, and surprise me."
Both Leon's paused for a few seconds with two main thoughts inside their heads. It was whether what she said was now more understandable and trying to understand what she just said.
Lillia: "Or...was that even more...harder to understand?"
Leon: "Oh, no, it was way better than the last one...not that the last one was a bad way of saying it...I guess you're saying..."
While the other Leon was explaining what Lillia was trying to tell him, which was that he was too honest with his thoughts and told her something that was taken slightly offensive, Leon couldn't help but notice how much like the real Lillia, this other Leon was. Then, as if pulled off of visual perspective, Leon saw that it was like that he was Lillia, and Lillia was him. Role reverse.
Lillia: "I shall go inside..."
Leon Regulus: "Ah! Wait..."
Leon: "Urk...!"
Leon's stomach felt sick...Leon felt really hungry...and he had just noticed. He made a chocking sound, clutching his stomach. The other Leon heard and turned on heel to find whoever made the sound. He saw Leon sprawled on the floor of the alleyway groaning in pain. Leon was too tired to move, but couldn't help but look up at his own shocked face.
Leon Regulus: "Ah...ah...AHHH!!!"
Leon: "Be quiet, will you...? I am already in pain...I don't want to end up deaf..."
Leon Regulus: "Who...who are you?!"
Leon: "I'm...Leon...say, was that Lillia with you?"
Leon Regulus: "Are you...one of her?"
Leon: "I WAS until I was sucked into this vast world of pain, and turned into this humanity filth."
Leon Regulus: "You...there's more of you?"
Leon: "Didn't Lillia tell you anything? Argh..."
Leon Regulus: "How come Lillia isn't a human?"
Leon: "No...look I was truly one of her...kind, but apparently I'm even AFTER Lillia...though, what I can't believe...is that you are me right now..."
Leon Regulus: "Like...huh, your word choice is...almost like Lillia's."
Leon: "You are too nice. I can see you were on the verge of saying that my word choice was nearly as bad as Lillia's."
Leon Regulus: "Yeah...hey, Lillia can't have done anything bad inside...maybe I should take you with me..."
Leon silently begged him to, for he was hungry, and surprisingly tired. The other Leon helped him inside, they heard a lot of commotion. Before they knew it Lillia was in the lobby surrounded by a flock of guys. Sure, yeah, Lillia didn't do anything. They just moved on their on. Lillia silently wanted to make them vanish on the spot. She raised her hand in the air.
Leon/Leon Regulus: "N-no!"
Lillia: "Ah, Leon Regulus...and, you. I didn't think I'd see you again."
*****
They're all in the elevator...it took both Leons awhile to get Lillia away from the men, without having Lillia using her powers.
Leon Regulus: "Hey, you said you haven't seen this other Leon in awhile, but you saw me and made no comment about how much he looks like me."
Lillia: "I don't look at one's front appearance, though their personality is what brings their recognition."
Leon: "I suppose I should be glad that you are differing us from each other."
Leon Regulus: "Y-yeah...I guess."
Leon: "Hey, Regulus, where are we exactly?"
Leon Regulus: "We are...exactly in an elevator inside the Star Productions, which prints the Star Magazine."
Lillia: "Interesting..."
Leon: "Is the elevator this moving room?"
Leon Regulus: "I-in basic terms...yes..."
Lillia: "The moving room had reached its destination."
Leon Regulus: "I just really hope you guys have a more...normal way of talking. I don't want anyone thinking bad of you guys."
Lillia: "Why would one think bad of one's way of language?"
Leon Regulus: "It's...uh..."
???: "Ah! Regulus! You're back! And you said that you were too stuck in a stump to find any new candidates! I knew you could do it!"
A happy and encouraging voice rings throughout the office floor they reached as the doors of the elevator slid open. Leon's mouth was slightly hanging open and his eyes were wide.
Leon Regulus: "Ah, hey, Siostu...here, meet Lillia and Leon..."
Siostu: "Hey, my name is Zyglavis Siostu. I am the editor-in-chief of the Star Magazine. So you two are the new models Regulus found? Are you two siblings?"
His purplish hair stuck out to both Lillia and especially Leon. It was cut short, and his bangs swung to the right. His eyes were twinkling and he was smiling widely. This was definitely different than the strict hand of justice, with long purplish hair in a ponytail, that Leon was used to.
Lillia: "In a way, yes."
Leon: "What...?"
Zyglavis Siostu: "Ha! That's great to know! Come in and feel welcome!"
Leon instantly thought that if he didn't find away out of this book, he'd loose his mind forever. He started wondering if the others are in more trouble than he is. Leon Regulus looked between Leon and Lillia. He was wondering why Lillia was looking at him funny for a second and why Leon was still looking at him funny. All three silently thought that this was going to be a difficult rest-of-their-lives.
