"Anikaaaaaa betaa!!!!!" Janaki whines as she enters the room with Vicky and Gauri all of a sudden.

Shivaay and Anika's eyes widen up and they immediately jerk away to the opposite sides. Anika pretends to yawn and acts as if she had gotten up only now.

And Shivaay taps on the Vital signs monitor as if he was checking if the machine was working or not.

Her mother smells something fishy and squints her eyes. But was distracted seeing Anika moving... she runs in for a hug not without a loud scream of 'Oh my Maata'!

"Maa.. it hurts. Haha.. I'm fine. Don't squeeze me to death now" She giggles as she slowly escapes herself from Janaki's tight hold.

And she however keeps sobbing as she gently stroke Anika's hair.

Gauri looked teary and Anika noticed this.
She straight up gives her a 'I'm-Alright-now-so-dont-please-don't-cry-now face. But Gauri cried no matter what.

Vicky smiles at Anika. "Welcome back!" He says with a shrug. And Anika giggles before stretching her neck.

Anika looked tired and that was clearly written on her face.

"What did I tell you guys about giving the patient their space??!?" The head nurse butts in furiously.

Janaki gives her a death glare and stands up. Shivaay looked concerned and gently holds janaki by her shoulders.

"It's alright Ma. Even Anika needs to rest. Let's leave now." He pacifies her and slowly walks out of the room with her.

He stops by the doorstep and turns to look at Anika already looking at him with a smile.
'Ill-be-fine' she silently mouths the words. And Shivaay nods.

Later by the evening, Gauri pulls a chair and sits beside Anika completely bored. Anika wasn't up. Janaki was busy making calls to her so called relatives.

"Bade Bhaiya.. I'm bored" she whines.

Shivaay purses his lips. Pouts and imagines a way out. He nods a second later And slowly pulls his mobile from his back pocket.

"All the premium accounts are available!" He says with a shrug.

"AHHHH You are the best!!" Gauri says quickly grabing his mobile and starts searching.

Shivaay smiles at her cuteness. And turns to look  at Anika.

She lays there all angelic and ethereal.

He wouldn't be recovering anytime sooner from the emotional breakdown this incident had caused him. He saw blood for Godsakes. Anika's blood. She was hurt, she begged him to save her and she was unconscious for a pretty long time, enough to break Shivaay. All this happens and no one can expect him to be normal.

Well she was alright. Not exactly. But she was recovering. But it was Shivaay who went through the same pain, not physically but mentally.

He smiles but is in pain.

"IM GOING TO SUE HIM!" Vicky yells out the blue breaking shivaay's trance from Anika.

"Fhat the wuck, Vicky?" Shivaay whisper-shouts and signals him to keep it down as Anika was sleeping. He also made sure Anika was not disturbed.

Vicky immediately holds his ears and gives him a sheepy smile as he walks out to continue his call with a client.

Shivaay takes a breath and before he could calm himself..

"Lathaa!!!! NO NO ANIKA IS FINE!! GAADI? GAADI WO WALA NA.. SHARMA JI KA BETA OWNS ONE NA.. THAT ONE" Janaki was loud enough to wake up the whole hospital.

Anika flinched a bit.
Shivaay couldn't take a move. He needs to shut his Girlfriend's mother's mouth without actually asking her to 'shut up'. BUT HOW?

"Tea!" He suddenly calls out with a blank expression.

Shivaay gets Janaki's attention.

Shivaay goes on.. "Er... V-vicky just went out to.. to..  buy a hot cup of tea with.... extra sugar from the nearby Cafe. I've heard it is one of the best Tea's in the state. Even.. er..  Shah Rukh Khan once came here to dri-"

"I'll go get myself one" Janaki puts her phone down.. and in no time is out of the room.

Shivaay finally Takes a breath of relief.

Gauri is seen scrutinizing Shivaay's mobile so closely.. and she was watching something attentively with her earphones on.

Shivaay was bored as well. So he walks over to Gauri and takes a seat next to her. He keeps tapping his legs.. eyes randomly looking around, examining the entire room.

He then stops doing anything and silent peeks in to see what Gauri is watching.

"Awwww" Gauri reacts suddenly and continues watching.

Shivaay zooms his vision into his mobile to finally see the great Manik and Nandhini, his low-key favorite pair of 'Kaisi Hai yaariyaan'

Well he himself, was not always a Macho looking, uptight person. While he can be into love stories and romance genre series as well.

He starts to watch it with Gauri. Gauri notices and passes him one side of her earphones. And shivaay gives her a small smile and they start watching.

"Cabir and Navya should have been endgame, you know?" Gauri silently suggests as she was watching.

"I know righttt!! Like, Navya really loved Cabir" Shivaay agrees with a nod.

"Also Manik and Nandhiri didn't have to go through all this. They have to be together.. you know? Gauri says.

"Exactlyy!" -

Shivaay doesn't register this voice as Gauri's.
Gauri couldn't believe Shivaay just spoke with a female voice.

They turn at the same time to see Anika sitting up, and closely looking into the mobile adoring MaNan.

"Fhat the-" he springs up in surprise.
Gauri just starts laughing abruptly.

"When did you get up?" Shivaay asks scratching his head.

"When you both decided to ditch me and watch My favorite couple without me. What a sight to watch my own sister and her brother in law watching hindi serials together. Ah I'm proud" she teases.

Shivaay rolls his eyes. While Gauri hits Anika.

"Ahh" Anika hisses.

"Haiyappa.. that wasn't even a hard hit. Don't act in front of your boyfriend to create sympathy, okay?" Gauri whines.

Anika curses under her breath and smiles an evil smile.

Shivaay grabs the pillow on the bed and places it vertically behind her back making her lean comfortably against the bed.

Anika adjusts her position and fixes herself in the most comfortable position she could find.

"O-kay.. so ill go get mom now" Gauri wispers and slowly gets up.

She turns to Shivaay and signals him.

Shivaay doesn't understand what she was trying to say.

She again gives him an eye to Anika.

Shivaay scrunches his eyes. He still wasn't clear what she was mentioning. 

Gauri quickly meddles with Shivaay's mobile and hands it to him.

"I'll be going now" she says again signaling shivaay to his mobile now.

"So how long are you planning to say "you'll go" instead of actually going out?" Anika mocks.

Gauri sticks her tongue out to Anika and quickly moves out.

Shivaay giggles as he looks down at his mobile.

"She's sad. I can tell. Talk to her"

The text read.
Shivaay's smile drops and he turns to see Anika setting up her bed.

"Believe me Gauri. I can tell that too" shivaay whispers to himself. And looks at Anika with a faint smile.
