Idk everyone's doing it so I wanted to do it

Also idk about you I cbf scrolling up and down to see the questions so I'll write em out for ya

1. When did you get into art?
I first started drawing lots when I was 10 and I was copying the tribe refs out of wof books 

2. What art-related sites have you ever signed up for?
I think only DA, I had an embarrassing old account a couple years back

3. Show us the oldest piece of art you have on hand.
This is a book I wrote about my cat when I was seven?? I think. I used to write books at holiday programmes. Lemme know if you want the whole thing lol

4. What defines your artistic style?
...defining features are those lines I draw above noses- idk someone help

5. Do you practice other styles/have you tried other styles in the past?

This abomination before I ruined it. I've been trying to make my art more realistic, idk how far to go with rendering :/

I always draw these lil chibis of myself insteadda drawing emotions when I journal. I use the annoyed and blushy ones a lot. 

6. What levels of art education have you had?
Hah what education- 
Just school art courses, I'm mostly self-taught

7. Show us at least one picture you drew or sketched recently that you did not put on a public site.

8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?
Uhh maybe this? I just love how the rendering is still sorta my style. And it's lowkey angsty and dramatic

9. What is your least favourite piece that you have done?
Gotta be one of these

10. What do you like most about your art?
I like how I draw hair, and I like all the neck/collarbone/elbow/knee lines I draw. I love the scribbly/sketchy lines on shoulders an stuff.

11. What do you like least about your art?
How my eye style fluctuates to the point that I wonder if my style is even recognizable ;-;

12. Have you ever considered taking commissions?
Very much yes. I'm thinking of doing paid commissions, but way, waaay into the future. Maybe not super far away but not any time soon.

13. Are you looking for a career in art?
Honestly? I don't know. I have an idea of what I want to be (that will actually get me paid loll) but I do hope to be involved in some sort of art related thing. Idk I'll land myself a solid job then see what happens :/ this is where I'd consider doing commissions as a side-thing.

14. What do you like drawing the most?
Characters. I make too many but it's so funn

15. What do you like drawing the least?
Backgrounds, still life, anything that isn't some kind of creature. I'll draw animals, but if it's isn't some living thing I lose interest faaast. And no tonal realistic pencil portaits. Those are boooooringgg, no one's impressed by it and no one actually likes looking at them. Okay maybe that's harsh don't come at me it's just my opinion.

16. Do you draw more fanart  or original art? If fanart, what fandom do you draw the most of?
Defo original art. I get bored of fanart and I like creating characters. The most fanart I've drawn is prolly all my avatar stuff.

17. What would you absolutely refuse to draw?
NSFW. Personally it's gross and I just don't want to draw that.

18. What is your purpose for drawing?
A couple reasons, 1, I enjoy doing it, 2, in class or just in general for entertainment/something to do, and 3, to give the people I make up a face :>>

19. What medium/program do you use the most for your art?
Pencil/pen sketches and Krita for digital! I have alcohol markers which I should probably use again some time.

20. How would you rank your art?
I'd say I'm fuckin aweso-
I'm not sure. I think it's good enough. I like how it looks so I don't really care how 'good' it is 

21. Do you believe there is such a thing as "bad art?"
As long as you like how it looks I don't think it can ever truly be bad. Sure there may be better artists if you're talking about technical things like lighting, perspective, anatomy but art is subjective or whatever that quote was. 

22. List at least one of your "artspirations"
Never heard that word before in my life. I like thedoormann on insta. 

23. What do you think you could stand to improve on?
Hands, obviously. Also expressions, poses and backgrounds. All the stuff I can't be bothered doing.

24. Do you have a shameful art past?
I'd like to say no. I traced a few things when I was starting digital art (using the mousepad on my computer) but I never posted any of it or claimed it as mine :/
