I usually do a super rough blobby shape of the pose in grey

you can barely tell what it is but I know and it helps to know where everything is

Just sketch over top!

A line of action can also help

just draw what way u think the body is moving

I usually do the clothes, facey thingies (eyes, nose, etc), and hair all on different layers over top
