Jimin reached one million instagram followers, and of course, she was happy with it. Despite being happy for her fiancée, Minjeong couldn't help her feelings. To be honest, she was scared of the popularity.
Jimin is now officially an influencer after that successful YSL modelling gig. There's her picture on the big billboard at the centre of the busy street in Seoul. There's also her pictures in the magazines. There's more people who knew her whenever they were out.
Minjeong is terrified.
Jimin promised her fiancée a romantic candlelight dinner, and as soon as the couple step out from their parked car, there's few people running towards them, flashing their camera like they were some sort of celebrity getting caught by dispatch.
Minjeong's grip on Jimin's hand just getting tighter. She just want to enjoy their romantic dinner, but the flashes terrify her.
"Please make way! My fiancée can't stand the crowds!", Jimin voice came out strong, somehow afraid that the attention they brought might affect Minjeong's health. She opened her arms wide enough to block people from coming near them, trying to protect panic Minjeong with all her might.
Minjeong closed her eyes when she saw another camera flash. Cold sweat rolled down from her forehead. Her hands never leave Jimin's. When Jimin saw how bad the situation led Minjeong into, she came closer to whisper in her fiancée's ears, "In count of three, we'll run towards that restaurant, okay?".
Minjeong nodded her head aggressively as her eyes were closed in horror. Jimin caressed her thumb on the younger girl's hand before she started the countdown.
"One", she said, brushing her thumbs on Minjeong's hand.
"Two"
"Three!", she pulled Minjeong together with her, running towards the restaurant where they could finally have their own privacy. When they passed the restaurant's front door, the doorman blocked any single fans trying to follow them.
Jimin sighed in relief, but when she could feel the trembling sensation on Minjeong's hands in her grip, that's when Jimin realized her worst nightmare was here.
"Minjeong", she saw that breathless expression of Minjeong again. Jimin tried to be calm when she rummaged her hand inside her handbag to find her fiancee's anxiety pills, and when she did, she immediately took the pills and handed it to Minjeong's sweaty palms.
"Baby, breath", Jimin advised when Minjeong tried to calm down her heavy breath. Jimin helped the younger, leading her hand with the pills towards her mouth and gulping it down her throat. When worried Jimin asked around for a glass of water, a waiter helped her before she immediately handed the glass towards her fiancée.
"Drink this, Minjeong", Jimin said before helping Minjeong to drink as she held the glass for her. A few gulps of water down Minjeong's throat, and as she tried to control her breathing again, Jimin thanked the waiter before handing back the empty glass, leading Minjeong towards their designated private diner.
"Are you okay, baby?", Jimin asked worriedly as her eyebrows furrows. She hates seeing Minjeong in this state, and she can only blame herself for this.
"I'm... trying...", Minjeong said between her heavy breath. Jimin had led them to their private diner inside the restaurant before she pulled the chair for the younger girl to sit. When she does, Jimin immediately kneels right in front of Minjeong. Her eyes are full of concern.
"Should we go home?", Jimin asked as she placed her hands on Minjeong's knees. The younger girl immediately shakes her head, disagreeing the idea.
"I will be fine, Jimin. You worked hard to prepare this dinner for me", Minjeong said with her low voice, but she managed to flash a tiny smile on her face for assurement.
"Hell, Minjeong. Your health matters. What if you suddenly collapse? I might blame myself until my death -"
"Hey-hey", Minjeong cut her fiancée's words as she brushed her thumbs over Jimin's cheek. "I'm fine. You are fine. No need to blame yourself. We are in this together, remember?", Minjeong smiled.
"Did I make a wrong choice for YSL? I made your fear become worse, baby. I'm so sorry", Jimin's eyes slowly become teary, and seeing how worried Jimin is for her made Minjeong lean in to plant a soft kiss on Jimin's trembling lips before she pulled away.
"No. You deserve YSL, and I want this dinner. Why? I'm hungry. You--", Minjeong's words paused when her stomach growled, obviously telling both of them that Minjeong is being thruthful with her words. "See? I'm hungry", she scoffed, giving a peck on Jimin's lips. "I'll be fine, okay? Let's eat", she kissed Jimin on the lips one last time before pulling Jimin's up to stand.
Finally, a small smile flashed on Jimin's worried face.

Since that day, Jimin needs to remind herself again and again that Minjeong is her main priority. She loves her as much as she can sacrifice everything for her. Without Minjeong by her side, Jimin felt like dying.
After accompanying her fiancée to her monthly thyroid check-up, Jimin watched as Minjeong went to bed. She know so well how tired her fiancée can be every time they get back from the hospital. When she's sure enough that Minjeong finally fell into a deep sleep, Jimin opened her instagram to find an important message.
Thom Browne has invited her for their fashion show.
Jimin sighed in desperation. Honestly, she is interested. It is Thom Browne. But never in Jimin's life that she felt so guilty for being popular in the country. Since Minjeong got sick, sometimes she thinks it might be bad for her to be popular. Minjeong got all the bad effects from it.
She ignores the message as her eyes shift back towards sleeping Minjeong. She fixed the younger girl hair with her slim fingers. Sure, Jimin loves her popularity. But if she needs to risk all of this and lost the love her life, Jimin would prefer more to be a beggar at the side of the road rather than losing her fiancée.
"I will sacrifice everything for you, you know that?", Jimin smiled.
Even tho Minjeong's health also the main reason why the both of them decided to push their wedding further, Jimin don't care.
As long as she has Minjeong, she'll be fine.

Minjeong woke up around eight at night, and when she tried to move her body to the right, she bumped into another sleeping figure, which she already knew who it was.
A small smile flashed on her face. She put her head back on the pillow, mesmerising her fiancee's beauty.
Minjeong pokes her fiancée's nose gently before her face turns into a happy smirk. Then, she brushed the tips pf her finger on the older girl's perfectly shaped eyebrows.
Oh god. She fell in love again.
"Jimin, wake up. It's eight", Minjeong gently caressed her thumb between Jimin's brows, only resulting the older girl to furrows. "It's already night, baby. If we didn't get up, we might not get any sleep later".
Jimin yawned once before slowly opening her sleepy eyes, looking at Minjeong with her sheepish smile. "But your fingers on my brows calms me. You made me feel sleepy again", Jimin sneered lightly.
"Can I leave you alone, then? I need to finish my manuscript. The deadline is tomorrow", Minjeong said, still doing things with her thumb on Jimin's brows.
"There's still a lot left?", the older girl asked.
"Nope. Two pages more, I think. Then, I'm done with the manuscript".
"Then, you can stay here with me on this bed. I want to cuddle more", Jimin smiled playfully as she trapped Minjeong inside her embrace using her arms and legs.
"Babe, no! If you continue to sleep more, you can't--", Minjeong lectures turns into a cheerful laughter in a flash when Jimin tickles her on the stomach.
"Say that you'll stay!", Jimin demanded, but Minjeong wasn't that easy to sway.
"No- haha! Jimin, I need to- haha! We- need to--"
"Say it!"
****
Jimin isn't surrendering, neither do Minjeong. Minjeong is now on the bed, sitting by the bedframe with her laptop on her lap as Jimin was right beside her, nuzzling so close, her face between Minjeong's neck and her arms around Minjeong's waist.
"Stubborn, aren't you?", Minjeong scoffed when Jimin's breath on her neck tickled her a bit.
"Oh, come on. Who wouldn't love to be so close to their fiancée all the time? If I'm extreme enough, I'll ask Aeri or Ning to tape our body together!", Jimin exclaimed before hugging Minjeong's waist tighter.
"Sure. Being taped together, putting on a t-shirt with two holes at the top, pee together, poop together--"
"I don't want to see your poop", Jimin pulled her face from Minjeong's neck with a fake disgusted expression. "It will be smelly, euw".
Minjeong just let out a loud sneer, enough playing along with Jimin's silliness before she continued typing on her laptop.
"What's your plan for tomorrow?", Jimin asked.
"Submitting the manuscript through their emails, and I need to go to the publishing company. They wanted me to sign a few books for their newest sale"
"Should I follow you? I'm worried", Jimin finally pulls away from her fiancée, looking at her face with genuine feelings.
"You have works, Jimin. I'm out for my work, and you have your work. Your students will complain if you weren't there for classes", Minjeong nods her head knowingly, her eyes never leave the laptop screen.
"But lately, my fans are--"
"Babe!", Minjeong suddenly cups both of Jimin's cheeks (the sounds came out like slapping, to be honest) as her eyes gazing deeply into her fiancée's. "I will, be, fine", Minjeong nods her head confidently before pulling her hands again, getting them back on her laptop.
"But-"
"There's still lots of your fans who don't know my face. I will definitely be fine", Minjeong said as the clacking sound on the laptop surrounding the room.
"But--"
"I'll call you if anything happened, Jimin. Also, that grumpy publisher does know that I have health issues. He knows you, and if anything happened and I couldn't manage to inform you anything, he will", Minjeong continued before turning her head towards her fiancée again. "Okay?", she asked.
"I'm worried. I have bad feelings for tomorrow", Jimin confessed with her low voice. The concern is clearly evident, and Jimin wants to argue more.
"Everything will be fine, babe. Okay?", Minjeong tilted her head sideways, flashing her fiancée her bright smile. Assuring the older is almost like a daily routine because lately, Jimin just worried about her too much.
Jimin wants to believe, she will believe it, she needs to when Minjeong flashed her that cute smile. How can she resist smiling back?
"Promise me you'll be okay"
"I know this is the eleventh time you make me promise that this week, but my answer will always be the same. I promise, babe. How can't I?"
