Jophiel's POV

It's been a few days since Sam and Dean disappeared.  It was now the day of the concert and we were debating on whether or not it was safe to go.  Gabe talked Cas into it though.  And since we had extra tickets, Cas is going with us.

Right now I was taking a walk around the neighborhood, trying to clear my head before the concert and I somehow ended up in front of Jensen's house.  He hadn't been at school since my flashing out and I was somewhat worried.  I took a deep breath and covered my eyes.  I then focused on flashing into his room.  I kept my eyes covered though.

"Jensen?  Are you decent?"  I asked.  "Ah!  How did you get in here!?"  I heard Jensen exclaim.  I uncovered my eyes and shushed him.  "Jensen.  Shut the fuck up.  Do you want someone to come in here?"  I lightly scolded.  I walked over to the door and closed it so we wouldn't be disturbed.  I leaned up against a wall with my arms crossed.

"I just want to talk."  I say and he visually relaxes, but not by much.  "About?"  He questions and takes a seat on his bed.  I walk over and sit next to him.  "Why haven't you been at school?"  I ask.  He shrugs.  "What would you do if you found out someone you knew was a magical being?"  I questions.  I give him a bitch face and cross my arms over my chest.

"My Dads are magical beings.  So is my Uncle."  "Oh.  Sorry."  He apologizes.  I just roll my eyes and uncross my arms, placing them behind me to prop myself up.  "So what was that the other day?"  He asks.  "Well.  Why don't I start from the beginning?"  I ask and he nods, telling me to continue.

"My Dad, Castiel, is an Angel Of The Lord.  He met my Dad, Dean, when he pulled him out of Hell.  Yes Hell.  They got married and decided that they wanted to have a child.  But since they are both males that isn't really possible.  And before I get into anything else, I will tell you now that the Supernatural is real.  Everything.  Monsters, Vampires, Pageon Gods, Werewolves, you name it...  It's real.  And my family, including myself, hunt them.  Saving people, hunting things, the family business.

And my Dad Dean, before I was born, got into some deep shit and received a mark.  It's called the Mark Of Cain.  And if you don't know anything about that...  (Don't know your history on the mark?  Now you do.)  The Mark Of Cain was a lock designed by God for The Darkness.  He originally gave it to Lucifer who passed it onto Cain and from there to Dean. It was the first curse in existence...

According to Death, before there was life or even the Earth, there was The Darkness.  God and His Archangels defeated the Darkness and locked it away. God created the Mark as the lock on the Darkness' cage and if it is destroyed, the Darkness will be released. God gave the Mark to his most trusted lieutenant, Lucifer, but the Mark corrupted Lucifer and made him jealous of humanity. Lucifer eventually passed it onto as part of his deal to save Abel.

After Cain was given the Mark, he began to realize what toll taking the Mark will take , and rather than be controlled by his murderous compulsion, he attempts to kill himself with the First Blade. However the Mark would not let him die, and he was reborn a demon. He goes on to train and lead the Knights Of Hell, as they wrecked havoc on Earth.

After he fell in love, and despite the woman he loved being killed by the Knights, he manages to cease killing after he disposed of the First Blade.

The Mark imbues its owner with great strength and an almost insatiable desire to kill. This strength is enough to overpower Vampires and even an Angel. It is the source of The First Blade's power. The Mark and the Blade work together, and without it the First Blade is rendered useless. The Mark can also be transferred if the person is "worthy of it"; which is unspecified, but may mean being a killer, or something else.

The Mark will act to prevent the person it is on being killed, even by their own hand such as blocking fatal spells and preventing the person from committing suicide even during a hallucination.

The bearer of the Mark has also demonstrated other powers such as a control of the First Blade, immunity to demonic powers with great concentration and in at least one case, premonitions of the murders the Mark will make them commit. It also resurrects the user as a Demon and a Knight Of Hell if they die.

The Mark's existence keeps The Darkness bound. If it is destroyed, the Darkness will be released.

In order to kill Abbadon, a Knight Of Hell, Dean decided to take on the Mark in order to be able to wield The First Blade. He agreed to take on the Mark despite Cain's warnings of a terrible price as he was eager to kill Abaddon and didn't care what the price would be.

After gaining the Mark, Dean began to exhibit more aggressive behavior, and once the Mark was activated by the First Blade his aggression was amplified. Once he began killing with the First Blade, the burden of the Mark became apparent -- the more Dean kills the better he will feel, the less he kills the worse he will feel, and if he does not keep killing it will eventually cause his death. But we had found a spell to keep that from happening.  But as Crowley informed Dean, the human body was never meant to contain the First Blade's power.

After the Angel Metatron kills him, Dean was resurrected by the power of the Mark and the First Blade. It has twisted his soul until it is demonic.  They thought that maybe one person could fix it.  And that person was me.  So they found a spell to mash their DNA to create me.  And it worked.  The moment Dean laid eyes on me, he went back to his fun loving self.  And that was sixteen years ago.  We were supposed to be taking a break.  They wanted me to go to school to make friends my own age."

Jensen looked at me with wide eyes.  "Is-Is that true?"  He asks.  I nod and look away from him.

"Where are they now?"  He asks after a moment of silence.  "My Uncle Gabe is at home with Castiel.  And my Uncle Sam and Dean are who knows where getting rid of the cursed thing.  They disappeared the day I came over to your house and we haven't seen them since."  "I'm so sorry."  He says.  "It's fine.  I know they're ok.  They just have to be."  I whisper.

"Did you...  Did you wanna talk about it?"  He asks and I let out a small snort of laughter.  "Nah dude.  No chick flick moments for me."  I say with a small smile tugging on my lips.  He laughs along with me and I take in a deep breath before saying, "Did you...  Maybe wanna come to the Panic! At The Disco concert with us?"

"That would be great."  He says.  I smile again.  "Ok.  So were gonna leave pretty soon.  Tell your parents your going out or something then I'll teleport us there."  "Um.  Ok one second."  He then ran out the door and down the stairs.  He reappeared seconds later.  "Ok.  All good.  How...  Exactly are we getting there?"  I smirk and he grabs a jacket.  I place a hand on his shoulder.

"Ok.  This might be a little bumpy...  Or it'll be a smooth ride.  And if we end up on the moon...  Just remember I'm still learning."  "What are you...  Exactly?"    "Part angel, part demon."  I say with a smirk.  His eyes go as wide as saucers and I just laugh.  "But seriously."  I make my eyes flick black and blue.  (Blue eye black, green eye blue.  I made it opposite so the blue, which is from Castiel, is demonic, and green, which is from Dean, is angelic.  I don't know.  It was a good thought at the time.)

He nervously laughs and my eyes go back to normal.  "Hey guess what?"  I ask.  "What?"  He asks nervously.  "Boop!"  I say as I tap him on the nose.  We then find ourselves in the motel room.  Gabe and Cas were playing some card game.

"Hey guys.  I'm back."  I say getting their attention.  "So Jo."  Gabe says pulling me over to him so I was in earshot.  "You do know that Jensen is here right?"  He whispers and I just roll my eyes.  "Yea.  I do.  And were cool now.  He's even coming to the concert with us."

"Well I'm glad you two are getting along.  Did you explain everything?"  Castiel asks me.  I nod and turn to Jensen.  "Holy shit Jo."  Gabe says.  "What?"  I ask.  Gabe and Castiel both have the largest smiles on their faces.  "What?"  I ask them again, crossing my arms.  When Castiel goes to say something, Gabe makes him shut up.

"Gabriel!  You Better Tell Me Right Now Or You Better Hope Your Archangel Ass Can Hide!"  I yell.  He holds his hands up in defeat and stands up.  He turns me around so my back is to him and he gently pokes me in the back.  "Ow.  What the Hell?"  I snap.

"Your wings are growing in."  "What wings?"  I hear Jensen ask.  "You can't see them but Jophiel is growing her wings.  You are human but other demons and angels can see them."  Castiel explains.  "They will be fully grown in a few days.  Wings grow fast and it gets pretty painful.  You will be able to see ours when yours are done growing."  Gabe says giving me a hug.

"I thought you guys didn't have real wings."  I ask.  "We do.  But since yours are so small, because they are just growing in, you can't see them.  The shadow outlines are just 'guides' as you will, to show how large they will be."  "Well then.  I guess I have some pretty large wings then."  I say smiling.

"How come I can't see them?"  I asked.  "Well they are growing underneath your skin right now."  "My What!?"  I yell.  Cas walks over and places gently hands on my shoulders.  "Your wings grow underneath your skin.  That's why there are slight bumps on your back right now.  And when they are ready to come out, I will make incisions in your back so they can come out."  "What!?"  I yell again.  "You don't need to worry about it right now Doll."  Gabe says.

I look into the mirror and look at myself in the mirror.  "This reminds me of when baby Cassie was getting his wings."  Gabe says and Castiel blushed.

Jensen clears his throat and we all turn to him.  "I guess this is all really new to you.  It is for me as well but for you it's an entirely different story seeing as I only told you about the supernatural today."  I say as I walk over to my bag.  "I have to get dressed so I'll be right back.  I tell anyone paying attention.

I walk into the bathroom, and start getting dressed.  I pull on ripped black high waisted shorts, a green crop top with some random design on the front, a red plaid over shirt, (True Winchester) leaving it unbuttoned, and black combat boots.  I take off my glasses and put in contacts.  I brush through my multi-colored hair and put it in a half-up foux hawk.  The different colors made it look really cool.  As I'm putting on my make-up, the doorbell rings.

"Gabe!  Get The Door!"  I yell from the bathroom.  I put on mascara and eyeliner, and try something different and put on subtle red lipstick.  As I exit the bathroom, I see just about everyone from our group standing around and talking.  And by everyone, I mean, Jensen, Misha, Alfie, and Jared.  I pull Jensen aside and whisper to him, "Remember.  You can't tell anyone about me or my family.  Who we really are.  It has to be a secret."  He nods and goes back to talking.

"Ok kids.  Is everyone ready to go?"  Gabe asks.  There were a series of yeas, and I saw Gabe snap his fingers.  I walk over to him and punch his arm.  "I saw that."  I whisper.  He just puts his hands up in defeat and walks over to the door.

When Gabe opens it, there is a limo out front.  Castiel glares at Gabe who is smiling like an idiot.  "What?"  Gabe asks innocently.  "We were never going to fit this many kids in one regular car."  He adds and walks outside.  "I'll let you have this one."  I yell to him and Castiel groans and walks out after him.  Grinning like an idiot, I grab Alfie's hand and pull him outside and the others follow.

When we get inside the limousine, this is how we sit...

Jared Misha Jensen and Alfie on one bench.  Gabe me and Castiel on the other.

I rest my head on my Dad's chest and he wraps arms around me.  Do you think Daddy is ok?  I ask Castiel through our mind link.  I'm sure he is just fine.  Castiel responds.  I nod and bury my head further into his chest, blocking out the rest of the world.

After the concert, we decided to take everyone straight home.  And once that was done, Gabriel zapped us back into the motel room.  We relaxed for a while until my back started aching really badly.

"Daaaaaaaad."  I whined.  Cas was at my side in seconds.  "Jophiel.  What is wrong?"  He asks.  "My back huuuurts."  I complain, dramatically rolling off of the bed.  "That is your wings trying to grow.  It's going to be sore for a few days.  It's kinda like having braces."  (Fml am I right?  I only need braces for around another month.  I got them when I was in eighth grade and I'm a Freshie this year.  My teeth moved really fast and it was a very uncomfortable roller coaster ride.  :P)  Gabe says.

"You know what Gabe?  Shut the fuck up.  I never had braces, nor do I need them, and I'm sure as Hell you didn't need them so you can just shut the Hell up."  I sass.  Gabe throws his hands up in defeat and shuts up.  But after a minute I grew bored.

"Ugh.  Uncle Gabe.  Entertain me I'm bored!"  I complain again.  Gabe groans.  "Have kids they said.  It will be fun they said."  He said to Castiel with teeth clenched.  "What the Hell are you talking about Gabe?  You never had kids."  Cas said as I rolled around on the ground.

"You know what Jo?  Get up.  We're going to get ice cream and do something."  Gabe said already walking out the door.  "Yay!"  I yell getting up off the ground.  "Bye Dad!  Love you!"  I yell to him as I run out the door after Gabe.  I jump on his back and he carries me the whole way to the ice cream parlor.

When we get there, we get ice cream and sit down at a table near the back.  "Thanks Gabe."  I said to him as we sat down.  "No problem kid."  I knew he just wanted me out of the motel so Cas could get some actual work done.

"Hey Gabe?  How come archangels don't have to eat and yet...  You do?"  I asked Gabe curiously.  Gabe just shrugged.  "I just like the taste of food I guess.  I never really thought about it.  But I guess it's because angels and archangels can taste food differently.  We can taste every molecule inside of food so our sense of taste is stronger I guess."  I shrug and continue eating.

My back has a fucking spasm as the skin twitches.  I bite back a yelp, and let out a shaky breath.  "It will all be ok Jo.  If it makes you feel any better you get to stay home from school until your wings are finally grown in."  Gabe says and it does nothing to make me feel better.  I just nod and finish eating.

When I'm done, I push my bowl away and sit back.  I should have known better as I let out a surprised yelp, followed by a whimper.  "Oh it's ok kiddo.  When we get to the motel I have something that will make it feel better."  Gabe says and I don't respond.

Later on, Gabe has to help me get back to the motel since the pain in my back was increasingly painful and hard for me to walk properly without looking like a drunk person.  Gabe pushes me in the bathroom and tosses me a baggy sweatshirt, and someone's sweatpants.  We kinda lose track on who's things are whose.

Gabe tells me to change and not to put on a bra since it would only make things hurt worse.  Once I get done changing, I don't bother putting my clothes away.  I just leave them on the motel bathroom's floor.

Cas gives me a hug, and helps me onto one of the beds.  I feel two cold object go up the back of the sweatshirt and I flinch.  "Ice packs should help make it feel better.  Just let us know when they turn all watery so we can switch them out."  Cas says and I hum in response.  I then just fall asleep for the night.

The next morning my back ached even more than it had yesterday.  I let out a small whimper and tried to sit up.  The ice packs had now turned into liquid, and slid down my back and onto the bed.  I noticed my Dad laying next to me, and Gabe laying on the other bed.

With shaky arms, I pushed myself off of my stomach, and off the bed completely.  I walked to the bathroom, did what I needed, and walked over to the mirror.  My hair was a giant mess like usual but I made no attempt to try and fix it.

I turned around and lifted up the back of the sweatshirt.  The bumps were grotesque and quite large already.  But I knew my wings were only gonna get larger.  A few times I saw twitching and it made me sick at what was happening underneath my skin.  I quickly pulled down the sweatshirt again and hurried out of the bathroom.

I sat down on the counter of the small kitchen and ate whatever was left on the counter.  Someone must be awake because someone sat up.  And it was Cas.  He got up and noticed me on the counter.  He walked over and placed a hand on my cheek.  I leaned into the angel's touch and forgot about my pain for a moment.

But once he took his hand away, the pain was increasingly more painful and the twitching started again.  I yelped and arched my back, which only made it hurt worse from the quick movement.  "Oh my poor little Jophiel."  Cas whispered to me.  "I'll tell you what.  We are going to eat breakfast, then you can rest for a while with the ice packs.  And later on Gabe and I were going to try something new.  Ok?"  I nod and Cas walks over to the fridge.

He pulls out some cold pizza and doesn't bother heating it up.  We eat in peace, with the top of my head buried into Castiel's chest.  And after we finish, I wrap my arms around Cas's neck and he picks me up by my legs.  I didn't want to walk because it hurt to much.

Cas sets me down on the bed again and I lay on my stomach and try to fall asleep again.

Gabe's POV

When I wake up, Jo is asleep on the bed, and my brother is in the kitchen reading a book.  I stand up, crack my back, and stretch my wings as far as they could reach.  I let them fold up against my back again before making my way (Downtown.  Sorry not sorry) over to my younger brother.  I take a seat at the table across from him.  "Hey bro."  I say.

"Hello Gabriel."  Cas says not looking up from his book.  "What are we going to do about Jo?"  I ask.  Cas sets his book down and looks at me.  "I was thinking we could try to do the oil on her back."  He says.  "That's a myth Cas."  I say leaning back into my chair, wings flopping down to rest on the floor.  "But it's worth a try."  He says walking over to her and gently shakes her awake.

When Jo sits up there are tears in her eyes.  I could tell that the pain was way too much to handle for her and she just finally snapped.  Cas picked her up and sat down on the bed.  She was sitting on his lap with her back facing outwards, and her face buried into Cas's chest.

I make my way over to Cas and start running fingers through his wings to try and find the oil glands.  And once I finally get some in my hands and walk around Cas and he lifts up the back of her sweatshirt.  He nods for me to begin.

I slowly and gently rub the oil all on her back and she yelps in pain.  The wings underneath her skin twitch slightly almost like they were begging for more.  Jo's sobs were being muffled by Cas's chest, but it didn't make things less heartbreaking.  Jo and I were close so it broke my heart to hear her cry.

And a few minutes later, her sobs died down.  Cas and I let out sighs of relief.  Cas ran fingers through her messy hair and comforted her the best he could.  Once she stopped crying, Cas got her some water and some Advil.  It seems that the oil seeped into her skin and was now completely dry so she pulled down the sweatshirt again, and laid down on her side.

There was a knock on the motel's door and I got up to answer it.  Expecting it to be the motel's manager or one of Jo's friends, I opened up the door a crack.  But what I saw instead was a giant moose.  I got excited and threw myself at Sam and kissed his face over and over again.

Dean looked amused and pushed past us.  Jo had already fallen asleep again, and Cas was already giving Dean a welcome home hug.

Dean's POV

The Darkness was finally defeated.  We could go home.  I picked Sam off the ground and stepped over Death's scythe.  We made out way to the Impala and started driving to the motel.  The mark had disappeared along with Death, and we were home bound.

When we finally got back, I realized I didn't have a key to the motel so we had to knock on the door in hopes that they were there.  Gabe was the one who opened the door and immediately latched onto Sam.  I pushed past them to see Jo sleeping on the bed, and Cas watching over her.

I pulled Cas into a hug and he healed my wounds.  We kissed for a while until I remembered Jo.  "How is she?"  I whispered.  "There is something I need to tell you."  Cas said.  "Can you tell me on the road?  We really should be heading out."  I said starting to pack up.  Cas grabbed my arm.  "Dean we can't."  "And why is that?"  I asked.

"It's Jo.  She's getting her wings."
