the light hurts his eyes and disorients the mind. it's so bright- too bright. he struggles to, but can't remember what happened. he feels so exhausted too, like he had spent the past day running a marathon. his whole body feels numb, and he wonders where he is before a sudden bump in the road disrupts his concentration.

suddenly he is aware of a sudden pain running through his shoulder and legs. voices shouting and echoing through a hallway. he is lying down, and there is a vivid red along with the blinding white. is it blood? he cannot tell. exhaustion washes over him once more as his vision darkens once more.

he closes his eyes and sleeps.
