So, I was riding my bike with my family the other day. You know, wearing a gross helmet, sweating, wearing athletic clothes (which are tight and not really flattering), when all of a sudden, I spy one of the most gorgeous human beings to ever walk the planet (okay maybe that was an exaggeration, but he was REALLY attractive). He had light brown hair, was really tan and muscular, and had these really pretty blue eyes.

SOMETHING TO KNOW ABOUT ME: If I see a human who is attractive, I flip my hair. It's just what I do. Not on purpose, it just happens.

As might imagine, this did not work so well with my hair in a ponytail AND a bike helmet on. So we passed each other and I just sort of stared at him with my mouth slightly ajar and he smiled that awkward smile like "ew the ugly sweaty girl is looking at me weird um hi bye"

And then I caught up to my mom and told her about it and she laughed at me because IM JUST SO AWKWARD
