I Had the Most Interesting Dream Last Night
Okay, so I had a weird dream last night, and thought I'd share it with you for no particular reason. It's gonna be all serious and written like an actual story because I'm bored. XD
~
I was in the store Jungle Jim's. As I stared down the long aisles, stocked with international food of all types, I wondered where the English section was. After all, that's the reason I was there: to buy English tea.
Locating the aisle labeled "England", I started to look for the teas. Unfortunately, there were rows upon rows of tea. I knew it was going to be hard to choose the right one for me. Suddenly, I became aware of voices shouting in the next row over.
Those sound familiar, I thought, narrowing my eyes and preparing to break up the fight.
"My tea is definitely better then the stuff you drink!" shouted one person. His voice was deep and full of annoyance. And for some odd reason, he was British. What was a British man doing in the English section of an international food store? Looking for food from home?
"How would you know that?" questioned the second man, who spoke at a slightly higher pitch and sounded frustrated. "You haven't even given me a chance to tell what type I drink yet!"
"It's obvious, isn't it? I mean, with those clothes and that hairstyle, there's no mistaking it. You are a drinker of...."
"How can you tell what kind of tea I like from my clothes and my hair?"
"Why do you keep interrupting me? It's not my
fault you've recently lost an old friend! Have some manners and listen."
"How did you know about that? I never told you about her! And me, have manners? I think it's you that needs a lesson in manners, my friend!" He spat out the last word, venom oozing in his voice.
I rounded the corner. Two very thin men, one in a brown trench coat and the other in a black one, stood facing each other. The man in black was taller than the other, but not by much.
Oh.
"I don't like to be criticized, Doctor."
"Mr. Holmes, I hardly think--"
I took a step forward cautiously. "Excuse me," I began, "but do either of you know what the best tea is?"
Both the Doctor and Sherlock shouted names at me simultaneously, so I caught neither.
"NOT HIS TEA, MINE!"
~
And then I woke up really wanting some hot tea.
I remember a surprising amount of my dreams.
