Ponies- Bonus
"Is this a pony?" I laughed, picking up the stuffed toy by the mane. Since it was only a few days after the sand coffin incident, I still wasn't too keen on you.
"Stop! You're hurting him!" You jerked him from my hands and pulled him close.
"Him?" I snorted. "Well what a pretty princess pony he is."
Your eyes began to water, and I smirked. "You're rude. That's mean."
"What's mean is that no one ever told you how stupid you look right now."
A tear fell, and you wiped it away quickly, sniffing. In a sudden change of mindset, you dropped the pony, crossing your arms. "I will be a big punk guy man when I'm older, and you will regret your words."
"Really?" I laughed, looking down on you.
Cowering, you stepped back and pulled a chair from your desk, climbing onto it and looking down on me. "Yeah. And you're a monster. People like you won't go anywhere."
"At least I can reach a door handle," I sneered.
You frowned. "Your mom needs to spank you."
"Well excuse me for being normal. I don't even own a pony, and I'm a girl!"
"Then you're missing out. Ponies are the bestest."
"That's not even a word."
You stomped your foot.
Bored, I looked back to the magical creature and gasped. "Oh look! It's not just any pony! It's a unicorn!"
"Yes."
"I wonder what unicorns look like without their horns," I pondered, running my fingers down the silky fabric.
"Don't you dare."
"Why?"
"I like it."
"You like this?" I questioned and held it up to study it in the light.
"Yes, and I don't care what people think."
"You can't be a big music player and like unicorns!" I pointed out. "The girls will laugh. They won't like you. Learn how to be a man, kid."
"I am a man."
"Prove it," I said, shoving the pony into your hands.
Red splotches dotted your cheeks as tears feel over them. Your small fingers gripped the horn, and you closed your eyes. "I don't need to hurt things to be a man. Real men aren't afraid to like what they want. Real men-"
You didn't get to finish your speech, though, because I shoved you off the chair, falling on top of you. "Do it!" I ordered, sitting on you so you couldn't move.
Quivering, you lip stuck out slightly. "You're hurting me."
"Do it."
"We could be friends. If you just were nicer..."
"Do it!" I yelled, wrapping you in a headlock. Your scream pierced the air, and I gripped tighter.
"I don't wanna!"
"Do it!"
"No."
Frustrated, I pushed away from you. "You're annoying," I said.
"Why? I don't want to make you sad, but I can't hurt Pony."
"His name is Pony?" I clarified, looking down at the poor creature. As I looked back up at you, I sighed. Really, I thought it was adorable. It was sweet how you stood up for yourself, how you weren't afraid to like what you wanted. I had done all of this simply to prove how cool I was, but all I did was end up with an odd appreciation for you.
"Yeah, Pony."
"Here," I said, setting him back in your lap. "He can keep his dumb horn."
Picking him up and snuggling him close, you giggled, your eyes sparkling. "I'm sorry to make you mad," you apologized.
"Yeah, you shouldn't have done that," I agreed, stunned.
"Fiends forever!"
"Forever is a long time," I groaned. "Friends."
"Fiends," you agreed despondently, holding out your pinkie.
