"Class" Guinevere broke away from a kiss, disappointed grey eyes following her as she backed up.

"And? I skip class, and I know you do too" Sirius fluffed his hair continuing to watch the blonde in front of him, who was smoothing down her ruffled hair.

"Not together Black, our friends aren't stupid. They will be suspicious if we both aren't in class"

"And we don't want that?"

"No we don't, remember the note I left you at the ball? No feelings just physical,"Guinevere turned,"The agreement hasn't changed"

"Not a word of it" Sirius nodded.

"Good, because even though you're a prat, I like kissing you."

And with that both teenagers walked out of their usual hiding place, the astronomy tower, shuffling in different directions. Both were headed to Transfiguration, Guinevere arriving first and snagging the open spot next to Lily. Sirius followed a timed few minutes after and heading back with the Marauders. If Guinevere didn't know better, she almost would of thought Sirius half smiled as he walked past her.

The day passed quickly after that, Guinevere mostly zoned out in class and talked to Lily about who knows what. Remus however was hard at work trying to figure out a way to get both his friends to stand being around each other. He thought about just shoving them both into a broom closet and not letting them out until they resolved their problems, but he figured that would cause more harm than good. Most likely in the form of Guinevere kicking Sirius's arse and kicking her way out.

So Remus needed a better plan, and one that didn't involve Sirius getting his arse handed to him on a silver platter. But Remus was smart and he was determined to find a way. His most obvious option was to straight up lie to his friends faces, but guilt was stopping him from acting too soon. He needed help, so recruited Peter to help him out.

Peter was more than happy to oblige because he was sick of James complaining about not being around Lily. But in terms of Guinevere and Sirius he was pretty oblivious. So the plan was set, Remus had everything set in order, all he could hope for now, was that it would work.

Guinevere was sitting in her dorm when her owl Prince brought a note to her.

Last minute Hogsmeade trip, meet at the three broomsticks. -R.L

Guinevere read the note and walked out of the Slytherin common room, while up in Gryffindor tower Sirius had received the same note.

The blonde was walking down the corridor to leave the castle and go to Hogsmeade village when she heard foot steps from behind her. She gave a quick glance and paused.

"Following me Black?"

"I would never" Sirius called from behind her,"Are you gonna tell me what you're doing?"

"I would never" She shouted back.

It was silence after that, Guinevere continued up ahead, while Sirius trailed a ways behind. But once Guinevere reached the village she spilt off and lost him.

She walked into the three broom sticks from that back after losing Sirius. But as she walked in, the door opened to reveal none other than Sirius walking in to the table where her friends sat.

"You didn't" Guinevere stomped over to the table where Remus, Lily, James and Peter were sitting,"Lily you too?"

"I didn't know anything" Lily defended,"I just showed up"

"So which one of you was it?" Sirius crossed his arms.

"It was me" Remus stood up," Can't we all just hang out as friends? Lily and James are cooperating without killing each other"

"I would never hurt Lily" James stated.

"I will if she will" Guinevere shot Sirius a look as he said that.

"I will if he's not going to act like an arrogant prat the whole time"

"Fine"

"Fine"

Both Guinevere and Sirius sat down across from each other with a huff.

"Well this is awkward" James laughed nervously.

"Awkwardly fun!" Lily cut in hitting James's shoulder.

The group sat somewhat quiet for a few minutes, sipping their butter beers and glancing around.

"How about we go to the Black Lake?" Peter suggested.

"Fantastic idea Wormy" James and Remus said all too quickly.

The group payed for their butter beers and left the pub. They dispersed slightly Guinevere and Lily up in the front. Remus and Sirius in the back. James and Peter in the middle.

"So this had been fun" Lily started.

"No it really hadn't Lils" Guinevere groaned.

"Why don't you just try to get along, talk to him a least"

Guinevere struggled with that part, all her times with Sirius they had been doing anything but talking. Guinevere figured she preferred it that way. The last time she truly had a good and real conversation with him, was on the train to Hogwarts first year. That turned out so poorly she decided she best not try it again.

"Please, for me" Lily smiled hopefully,"If I'm being honest I really like hanging out with these guys" She whispered.

"I'll be nice," Guinevere signed,"Only for you though"

"Thanks Gwen"

Towards the back of the group, Sirius and Remus were having a rather similar conversation.

"Maybe try starting conversation?" Remus suggested, trying to get through to his friend.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to try" Sirius thought out loud, making Remus quite happy with himself.

But inside Sirius was slightly panicked. He didn't really "talk" to Guinevere. They had always despised each other, and when they weren't arguing, they were doing something else. So conversation with the blonde Slytherin was a new thing for Sirius.

The group finally made it to their destination of the black lake. Guinevere wanted to get closer to the water, seizing the opportunity Remus encouraged Sirius to accompany her as he insisted everyone else would be sitting together.

"So..." Sirius started.

"Trying to start conversation with me now Black?" Guinevere raised an eyebrow.

"Well I mean we never truly have had a proper conversation" Sirius digressed,"Maybe we should?"

"Sirius we hate each other remember?" Guinevere turned,"Don't go all mushy on me now, I don't really mind having an enemy."

"I am so not mushy!" Sirius argued back crossing his arms.

"You so are" Guinevere mocked his pose.

The two had taken off their shoes and were walking on the shore of the Black Lake.

"Are not"

"Are too" Guinevere reached her hand down and splashed Sirius.

"Oh you didn't!" Sirius looked down at his now wet clothes.

"I think I did" Guinevere smirked before turning and running.

"Get back here Blondie" Sirius called chasing after her, splashing her the best he could.

Guinevere was running down the shore when she turned back to look at Sirius who was close behind. Unfortunately for her, she tripped on her on feet and fell right into the water. Sirius was laughing his arse off as he approached her, that was until she grabbed his arm and pulled him in beside her.

"Well now look what you've done" Sirius laughed.

And for the first time in his life he saw Guinevere Avalon snort with laughter. She immediately covered her mouth but couldn't stop herself from laughing.

"At least let me help you up" Sirius stood up and help out his hand, which Guinevere reluctantly took with a roll of her eyes.

"Merlin Princess you're hands are bloody freezing!" Sirius said with a hint of worry lacing his voice that he was very poorly hiding.

"I'm fine" Guinevere withdrew quickly, but Sirius grabbed her arms and felt that the rest of her body was at a frigid temperature as well. It might have been spring at Hogwarts, but the lake was extremely cold and the wind that day certainly didn't help.

"You're going to become hypothermic" Sirius insisted while Guinevere kept repeating how she was fine,"Let me take you to the hospital wing or at least dry you off."

"No" Guinevere insisted,"I'm fine and if anyone should take me it should be Lily"

Guinevere began to walk off with Sirius in tow to the group, who had been watching a bit of the encounter. Guinevere approached the group and began to talk to Lily.

"Lily, Sirius thinks I'm going to become hypothermic so could you please-" But suddenly everything was spinning and Guinevere started shaking. Luckily as she fell back passing out, she could just barely feel a warm body catch her. She was barely conscious as she felt someone pick her up.
