Lovino 'Romano' Vargas ran at full speed out of his dorm and towards the school.
"Damnit! I'm late!"He cussed aloud.
Late.
On his first day of freshman college at World U.
Fuck this.
'Well it's not my fault!! That damn alarm clock wouldn't go off!'
'You pressed snooze, though--'
'SHUT UP.'
After finishing an argument with himself, the angry Italian zoomed in and out through lingering students, who already had their stuff up and were ready for the start-of-the-year ceremony.
Romano rushed into the building, shoved his stuff into the locker, and ran again out towards the plaza, where everyone was gathered, before--
"Ack!!"
He was knocked down as he crashed into someone else, falling on his ass.
"Hey, watch where you're going you ass--"
Romano was cut off as he saw who he ran into. It wasn't like he knew the person-- but-- he--
This person was a blond, with longish hair and a skinny build, and purple-blue eyes.
But god--oh god, was he cute.
"Ass? You're the one who ran right into me!" The person exclaimed in a soft voice, glaring at him.
"Sh-shit, I'm sorry-- I didn't-- let me help you up."Romano stuttered, holding out a hand to help this person--possibly girl--up.
"Sorry about that-- I thought--"
"That I was someone else? I get that a lot."She said.
"What do you mean?"Romano asked this person--again, possibly girl??
"Everyone mistakes me for my older brother, Alfred-- isn't that who you thought I was?"
"No, this is my first year, I don't know anyone, really."
"Oh really? I'm sorry for my rudeness! I'm Matthew Williams, Canadian represent, welcome to World University."She said sweetly, as she finally took his hand and stood.
'holy shit her hand is soft--but-- Matthew?? Must be a Canadian thing.' Romano thought, noting how beautiful her smile was.
"I'm Lovino Veneziano, but call me Romano. I'll escort you to your class after the ceremony, if you like."Romano offered.
"Really? That would be nice,"She replied, pushing a bit of hair behind her ear.
He smiled softly at this adorable Canadian, not knowing how this would blossom, into sweet friendship, a gigantic crush, and eventually, passionate love spent under Lovino's bedsheets, listening to the musical moans and pants of the Canadian boy.
Or the shock when he found during the friendship that Matthew was actually a boy.
