Japan bit his lip, watching as his amazing friend England read a fairytale to some of the little kids in Kiku's small village.
He was so sweet, using different voices for each character and using big hand gestures as the kids watched, captivated by the Western tale being told.
Ever since a month ago, when Japan had awoke and heard England's love confession to him, he couldn't stand near him without his heart threatening to pound out of his chest. Unfortunately, the Englishman had had no idea he was awake, as Japan pretended to be asleep so he wouldn't embarrass him, and to spend more time in England's strong arms.
Kiku blushed deeply at these indecent thoughts.
"What happened to the princess then?" One of the kids asked, being too consumed in the story to remember their Japanese politeness.
"Well, then the dragon,"England walked behind Japan without him noticing, the man bring too caught up in his thoughts.
"SNATCHED HER UP!"With those words he roughly squeezed Japan's shoulders, making Japan yelp in surprise, them picked him up and ran back to where the kids were, the said children laughing at their country's reaction.
Kiku blushed at being back in Arthur's arms, but protested anyway, making the children laugh more.
"Then the mean dragon flew her back to his castle and kept her there, and there she waited, for so many years, waiting for her prince to come."
He said mysteriously, leaving Japan on stage as he backed away.
"But I'm a man!"Kiku protested, causing the kids to giggle.
Arthur then walked back on the stage, doing a purposefully dumb walk, causing the mystified kids to laugh again.
"And her prince did! I am Sir Arthur, and I will rescue Princess Kiku!" Arthur announced stupidly, promptly falling on his face.
Kiku let out a small chuckle. Arthur was only willing to damage his pride and be purposefully stupid in front of kids and people he trusted wholeheartedly. Kiku felt honored to be inThe second category.
Arthur ran over, pretending to trip lots the way over and picked up Kiku once again.
He announced a big speech to the kids and Kiku let himself relax in his arms, wishing he had the courage to just tell him.
