GODTALIA: Ivan and The Knowledge God's Game
A very long time ago, when gods roamed the earth, there existed one named Yao. Yao was the God of Knowledge, and was omnipotent. He knew all, and was very proud of this fact. And to stroke his ego, and to make fools of Gods and Mortals alike, he issued a game, where if you could tell him something he didnt know, he would grant you a wish. Anything you desired. Obviously, no one could defeat him, and for milenia he beat man, woman, god, mortal, and all in between.
However, at this time, there was a second myth going on, of the demigoddess Katyusha, who wished to evolve her fellow mortals. To give them the ability to live at least similar lives to her or the gods, instead of the animalistic lives they lived at that point. She had to collect gifts from every God. And while some were easy, with Alfred's weakness for tears, Feliciano's love of mortals, and Ivan's bias for his creation, some were hard to crack. And the best example was Yao, with his ego of stone.
Katyusha still tried though, but she could find nothing that Yao hadn't already known for decades. So, giving up, she left to her home, and collapsed in front of the shrine to Ivan. Her tears soaked on it, and instantly, her godly 'Brother' appeared, asking for the reason of the tears.
After the situation was explained, Ivan told her that he would get the piece she needed from Yao.
And so, Ivan left for the realm of the gods. It was strange, seeing the reaper in the realm, after millions of years of staying in his Underworld realm. But he ignored the stares, as he had a mission. He found his old friend in the top of the mountain, in his room, reading scrolls, full of things he already knew.
"Yao, my old friend! If you don't mind at all, I want to play your game with you!"
Yao was equal parts surprised and amused. On one hand, he knew that Ivan did not have an ego, and therefore would not have a reason to participate in this game... Unless... He needed something. But he was the King of the Dead! What could he possibly need?
"...Of course."
So the two gods say across from each other, one smiling just like usually, and the other, concerned. He felt bad, knowing his great friend would surely fail.
"You may have as many tries as you desire."He told him, crossing his arms.
"Ah, I only need one!"Ivan smiled sweetly.
"Fine! Then tell me what you believe I don't know!"
Ivan was a great god, but he was not mentally sharp. He was going to tell him some obvious thing, he was going to lose. Yao felt horrible about it, frown deepening by the second. He didn't want to see his poor, sweet face fill with disapointment--
"My feelings for you!"
".....eh?"
"Im not sure, but I don't think you know them!"Ivan responded cheerily.
"I-I..." He wracked his brain. Of course he knew his feelings! They were that of friendship! But no, that wasn't true knowledge. That was assumption, he didn't know--
"I don't know..."He whispered, shocked.
"Yay! Now, my wish!"Yao nodded at his chipper tone, his words, feeling numb from shock. He was blushing heavily.
"I need your piece for Katyusha's quest!" Ivan beamed.
The God of Knowledge looked up with red cheeks.
"Very well... Its hers."He said quietly. Ivan turned to leave.
"Wait, Ivan!" The Death God hummed in response.
"What's the answer?" Yao asked, curiousity eating him inside out, an unfamiliar feeling for someone who knew everything.
Ivan grinned and giggled.
"I'm not too sure myself! That's why I asked you!"
