When you finally caught up with the two brothers, you found them talking with Ivan while sitting in the West garden that housed the koi pond and was overlooked by the music room. The four of you have been occupying that area for the past 10 minutes trying to make sense of what Leon told Emil; the reason behind why he's never spoken to you up until now and seems so 'scared' of you.

Ivan: rubbing his temples
So you told Emil, before ____ came here, that if he looks her in the eyes or talks to her... That will happen to her?

Leon: nodding at Ivan
Yes.

Wang: frowning at Leon
So to save from him figuring out that isn't true, you told him that only if the two souls match, that they can run the chance of it happening, but there is no way to tell that two souls match, so it's best to avoid socialising with her altogether, just in case?

Leon: nodding at Wang

But many people have looked at me and spoken to me, does he think that nobody cares about that? If that was actually how things worked.

Everyone was silent for a second, making poor Leon even more tense and afraid than he already was at this point.

Your heart sank when you saw his guilt; sure he told Emil something that made him afraid to talk to you, but it wasn't like he made him hate you, only want to protect you from that crazy lie he thought was true.

As you sat at the table with Mathias and Ivan in the cafeteria, you just still couldn't understand how Emil believed Leon when he told him that if a male talked to or even look at a female for long enough and if their souls 'matched', the female would become pregnant.

Where in the world did Leon even come up with such an outrageous idea!?!

It's probably more shocking that Emil took his words as gospel. Sure the kid's been on a male dominated island for years and barely knows anything still about girls and would take the first things he learns about them literally until proven wrong later, but seriously! You expected when you came her that you'd almost be like an attraction on a roadside freak-show, sense your an anomaly on the island, but SOME common sense would be nice.

Maybe it would have been kinder just to get Leon to admit it was a lie?
But where's the fun in that!?
I'm sure the kid will learn about it later on.

You went back to your food and played a mini game of hockey with your peas on the plate, dodging the lamb cutlets drizzled in mint sauce and scoring as they went into the goal you roughly carved into the spinach-massed potato.
The funny thing was, you weren't the only one at the table who was preoccupied with playing with their meals other than eating it; hope all the students are aware of the fact that they will be voting in a childish council president and vice. Then again, when are politicians not childish; I'm 79.3% sure that it's in the job description.
A tap on your shoulder distracted you from getting a goal and the pea rolled off your plate onto the table; you turned around to face the person that killed your winning steak and was prepared to 'kill their living streak'.

You: surprised

Leon: handing you his tablet
Got it done for you, but I hope you don't mind about L---

Lukas: walking over

Mathias: looking at what's going on with a lamb cutlet bone in his mouth

Mathias over heard Emil when he told me about what Leon told him. I didn't say anything because it was so stupid that I found it rather amusing at first, but then the more I got to know you, I knew it was hurting you, so I was going to tell you sooner or later depending on how things with the lie were developing.

Leon: budding in
Emil didn't tell me he told anyone else?

Lukas: raising an eyebrow at Leon
Then why did you think I was dancing in the video? It's not I'm my nature to do such things without a valid motive.

Leon: shrugging
I honestly thought that you had been possessed by a dancing God or something...

Lukas: glaring at Leon
If you think about it, if he told me about it he must have had a little doubt about it at first, but sense I didn't correct him on it, he takes his big brother's words to have more authority and truth behind them. Hence, I'm more important to him and he even allowed me to dance with him.

Mathias: leaning over the table and putting the tablet in the middle of the table
LUKAS IS DANCING TOO!? HURRY! SOMEONE TURN THIS THING-NA-BOB ON!

Yeah, only took like 15 minutes, we were late for lunch, but it was easy. I also taught the two the steps to the dancing I've been trying out for a few weeks.

Mainly dominance over Emil to make him see that I'm his big brother and I'll stay true to that status by doing anything an elder sibling does; helping with getting away from murder, lifting a fake curse or what ever it was through dance and just making a dancing video so much better by blessing it with my raw Scandinavian good looks. I also knew that you were going to see this, so I decided that now was a better time than any to show that I'm more than just a half-Orc wizard.

You: fake pouting
Shame.... I really hoped that I'd get a chance to develop Nyx a little more. So your telling me that you don't play D&D anymore? I really do want to play another round with you guys.

For a moment, you could see a flash of excitement in Lukas's face, but he soon removed it and went back to his usual monotoned expression.

You just laughed again and continued to talk to him, ignoring everyone else at the table.

Geek stuff that involves imagination, math and Lukas's hoard of costumes.

Leon: trying to take the tablet away
Can I have it back now, you've watched it enough!

Mathias kept his eyes glued on the screen and had his thumb at the ready to replay the video again, while hissing at Leon to let go of the tablet.
