Here's China with Gourmet's Heart Beginner Level to lighten the mood :3

     Turkey is a masked character in the series, and he has the human name of Sadık Adnan. He's a lively, energetic, and vigorous old man, and he appears to be physically older, although he never received an exact age. When he was younger, he was extremely powerful and was known as the Ottoman Empire at the time. He had a superior army, and he planned to conquer Europe, who feared the nation.

During modern days, however, he is thinking about befriending the other countries. He is normally joyful and friendly, and he can get along with just about anyone (excluding Greece). He can also be stubborn at times, and he can tend to show off. He likes to discover new things and entertain his tourists, and he enjoys gourmet foods and sweets. He carries a bottle of apple juice for whenever he takes a break, and he also enjoys coffee and rakı, a type of alcohol. Some popular ships with Turkey are TurGre, Turkey/Japan, or Turkey/Iceland.

Lets talk about SpUK~

     SpUK is a ship between Spain and England, and many people like to see this ship in their pirate days. When they're not pirates, Spain is the happy dork like always and England is a tsundere like in a lot of his other ships.

I've also read some things where the two are pirates, and they were pretty great X3
I like other ships more, cause they're great, but if a SpUK fanfic popped up and it has a good plot and is written well, I'd read it :3
I actually like a lot of ships with Spain cause he's a happy dork, and plus Iggy is a tsundere XD

Matthew~ I ship SpUK a bit. Like, not majorly. If you asked my what my ships are, I wouldn't name this. It's not that I super ship it, I don't HATE it. I think it is because of the Pirate history of it. (as I listen to besame mucho. oh well, I guess XD)
Of course, I don't ship it as much as I ship something like FrUK or Spamano.
But I don't hate it.

"Shortly before the anime was set to air, it garnered quick controversy due to the presence of South Korea being made known. The South Korean government declared the series as very offensive, and internet protests sprung up over the depiction of the character. As noted in the "Appearances" section, the protesters cited Himaruya's incorrect way of drawing the male hanbok as one reason for the character being offensive, although they also cited his perverted behavior and actions as not being understandable, and his birthday (presumably the May 1st version) being incorrect. As well, Korea's praise for Japan in certain strips comes off offensive, as while Korea does not appear in the WWII-centric strips, both nations share ongoing disputes due to the colonization of Korea as part of the Japanese empire from 1910-1945."

It amuses me how actual governments of countries are complaining about a derpy anime, I dunno why XD
