This week, lets talk about Hungary~

Growing up, Hungary, or Elizabeta Héderváry, was known as a tomboy and believed that she was actually a boy for a long time. People describe her to be reliable and a fan of shipping. She's also shown to be religious. In one episode, she was told to hit France with a pan by God himself in a dream. She does not get particularly well with Romania. In her youth, Hungary was said to be bullied by Mongolia and the Ottoman Empire, also known as Turkey.

When creating Hungary, Himaruya planned to make Hungary a male crossdresser. After a while, he decided to make Hungary the first female character and have Poland be the male crossdresser instead. He then based Lithuania's design off of Hungary's. Some popular ships for Hungary are PruHun or AusHun.

This week, we'll discuss Giripan.

Giripan is the ship between Greece and Japan. It started off when the clips of the two sitting together and having their discussions start off. They've talked about their mutual love for cats (well, Greece might love cats a bit more...) and once they tried to get mad together. They're both blunt when it comes to emotions, but some people in the fandom finds this as a beautiful relationship.

Before I say anything, the main reason why I chose this ship for this week is 'cause I wanted to do the song for this week, and the only way I can do this ship is if I have that song to heal my soul.
You know how I said in the week when we discussed UsUk, I said that I had one NoTP, and UsUk wasn't the one?

I'm sorry to all those GiriPan lovers, I don't judge you, but I can't help it. I hate this ship.
It's just...I've never had a NoTP bigger than this for any fandom, I can hardly say anything about it without offending anyone who somewhat ships it :/

You know their little chats and episodes together? It's all awkward, but the comfortable kind of awkward, ya know? They're happy bros. That's all fine and all, but I feel like if they did anything more, all of it would be awkward awkward.
Also, you know how I ship AmeriPan? Well, one reason why I love that ship - the same reason why I ship lots of ships - is cause Alfred could make Kiku feel emotions naturally. With GiriPan, everything just seems...forced.
I have a lot of other things to say about it, but I dun feel like doing this no more :3

At least, that's what it looks like to my eyes.
I've read some GiriPan fluff, and honestly, it wasn't fluffy in my opinion.
When I think of fluff, I normally get a fuzzy and warm feeling, like happiness and joy. I even felt it when I read the "We'll Meet Again" UsUk fanfiction, and I don't even ship that.
I don't even feel "blech". It makes me feel flat out sad ;-;
I'm fine with pretty much any ship, but with GiriPan, there's no warmth in the ship, if that makes any sense. I have nothing against GiriPan SHIPPERS, cause they're cool. I've read some pretty good fanfics for things I ship by GiriPan shippers, and I think I followed those people, but the actual ship brings me down ;-;

Oh my gosh. I've spent many-a-lunch with Keeks and Rod when Keeks rants (by the way I think Rod is dead) about GiriPan. But This is no hate (unless I'm lowkey ranting and forgetting about that rule).
This isn't an OTP as I see it... It is a BrOTP. They are bros. It is like me and... I dunno... Rod and Keeks. We are BROS we BOND over the same fandoms and the same social-awkwardness. Heracles and Kiku bond over Cats. So They are bros. Not hoes *pardon my american*.

I was wondering when this would show up. But anyway, my opinion on this ship is rather loose and it tends to change a lot. I really like it as a BrOTP because they're both awkward potatoes obsessing over cats like dorks. And it's a cute little dork friendship. As for a romantic relationship between the two, I'm not so sure. I think that for a good romantic relationship with Japan, the partner would have to be the kind of person who shows their feelings and that would influence Japan to come out of his shell and show them too. So, I don't really ship it as an OTP, but I definitely BrOTP it :3
