     So, Latvia is the youngest of the three Baltics, which also includes Estonia and Lithuania. He is often pushed by Russia, the country who he tried to break ties with. The fact that "it was because of Russia pressing down on his head every day that he's so short" reoccurs in the fandom, and the wiki stated that if Russia didn't do so, Latvia would be ten centimeters taller than he is now.

     Latvia is fond of poetry and romance novels. Although he looks young physically, he stated that he drinks a great amount of alcohol. In fact, he said that he can drink up to 40 cups at his best! A few popular ships with Latvia are Estonia/Latvia, Russia/Latvia, and Sealand/Latvia.

1) First of all, who is your favorite character in Hetalia?
"My favorite character... I'm honestly not sure if I can give a straight answer! But, my favorite two have to be Finland and Japan. There are many more I love, though!"

2) Who do you relate to most in Hetalia?
"I relate a lot to Finland, I think. I mean I'll act all happy and stuff, but my soul is black and filled with skulls. I like just sitting outside a lot, and burning my skin off in baths. The only difference is that no one is in love with me... ಥ‿ಥ"

3) What is your biggest OTP if any and why?
"AMERIPAN. Like this ship is so glorious it was the first thing I ever shipped in Hetalian and its still going strong! I just feel like there is a lot of canon support that people overlook, and they're just so cute together!!! !!!"

4) What is your NoTP if any?
"I really don't want to get hate... But my NOTP is UsUk. *sigh*I really have tried to ship it. I have. It just doesn't work for me, and probably never will."

5) Would you rather be raised by the Axis or the Allies?
"If I ever get used to surviving running laps, the Axis. They don't seem to fight as much as the Allies, and I'd love to be able to make pasta with Italy!(And bootleg a few doujinshis from Japan...)"

This week, lets talk about HongIce!

     This ship is not one as well known as other ships such as USUK or AmeriPan, but this ship has its moments! Iceland is a Nordic, and Hong Kong is known as a minor character in the series. In the 2016 HetaWeen episode, the two are seen together. The wiki states that there's not much known about Hong Kong's character, so this ship has a lot variety when it comes to his personality.

Opinions~

Kiku J.~ I personally don't know a whole lot about this ship, but I heard Matthew talk about this ship being cannon somewhere, so I looked it up and got FLOOF. I don't have a solid ship for Iceland yet, like I do with Japan with America, so I ship this :3

Matthew~ HONGICE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING THO. And its cannonness in 2016 HetaWeen was magnificent. They talked to each other. I died. There are other ships with Iceland that I adore, but this one is probably my top one. It is precious. And probably the most cannon ship with Iceland (the most cannon that ISN'T Nordic incest).

Roderich~ Like Kiku, I wasn't very familiar with this ship at first, but hearing Matthew explain things about it made me curious. After searching up more about HongIce, I can say that I really like the shipping :3 It's absolutely adorable and is the best ship with Iceland I've seen so far, so I approve of it.
