Roman Empire
I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing
Roman Calvary choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my soul, my shield
My missionaries on a foreign field
For some reason I cant explain
I know Stain Peter won't call my name,
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the world.
~
My brown stallion galloped through the woods, crunching dry leaves under it's iron horseshoes. Little Feliciano laughed and had so much fun on my horse. "Grandpa Rome! Your horse is so fast, I can feel the wind in my hair! Hahaha!"
~
It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become.
Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh, who would ever want to be king? ~
"Grandpa Rome!" Feliciano screamed "G-Grandpa Rome..!" Feliciano and Lovino cried and watched me lay on the war grounds, motionless, but bloodied. Feliciano dropped down to the floor and tried to shake me awake. "GRANDPA ROME!!" He screamed. I could hear him, but I felt numb-- almost paralyzed. Lovino, standing and sobbing, tried to hold in his pain. "Feliciano..", Lovino began"Grandfather..... Is gone. He's dead ."
Feliciano stared back at his brother, with wide eyes. His brown eyes filled with tears and worry. Lovino sat next to his brother who was sobbing, fighting back more depression. ~
And that was when I ruled the world.
