Narrator's POV

Norway sighed as he sat in the meeting, waiting for it to start when Russia burst in through the the door, followed by the trembling Baltics.

"Hello comrades!"  Russia said, gaining the room's attention.  Germany glared at him.

"And vhy vere jou late?"  He asked.  Russia kept his usual smile on his face.

"Da, I was busy bringing my cute little sister here."  He said.  Germany raised an eyebrow.

"But Belarus is already here."  Germany pointed out.  Russia gave a childish giggle and shook his head.

"Нет [no],"  Russia answered, making everyone's ears perk up.  "I mean my new little sister, [c/n]."  He turned away from the shocked faces of the other countries as he turned to the door.  "Come in now, da."

And soon, a young woman appeared, making Norway's breath hitch.

To say she was gorgeous was an understatement.  Soft luscious locks of [h/c] hair, with a simple clip holding back part of her bangs, letting her beautiful doe-like [e/c] eyes shine through.

'She's...'

"She is cute, da?"  Russia said, voicing part of Norway's thoughts as he pat [c/n] gently on the head.  She wore a shy smile, blushing a bit under all the attention.

"Dude,"  America said, standing up from his seat.  "She isn't just cute, she's smoking hot!"  He yelled, voicing the rest of what Norway had thought.  Though Norway stopped thinking that once he saw [c/n] flinch at the volume of America's voice and quickly hide behind Russia, whose scary aura was coming out.

"America,"  Russia said in a scary voice.  "You will be quiet around my sister, da, kolkolkolkol..."  While the other countries gulped a bit, America remained rather oblivious.

"Whatever dude, but she has to sit next to me!"  He said, making Russia's 'kol'ing become louder.  It was then that Norway surprised everyone, including himself, by raising his hand.

"There's a seat next to me."  He said in a monotone voice.  [c/n] looked at him and then at Russia, tugging on his sleeve.  He looked down, eyes softening, and nodded as [c/n] bounded happily over to Norway, taking a seat.  America just pouted.

"Alright,"  Germany said, gaining everyone's attention.  "Let us begin zhis meeting."

Norway turned away from the cute nation beside him and began to try and pay attention as Germany went on about some financial business, but a small tug on his sleeve caught his attention.

Norway glanced beside him, only to see a piece of paper being slid towards him.  He looked down and read it over.

"Thanks for the save."  Norway glanced at the smiling female and gave a nod.

"I could tell you didn't want to be near a loud mouth."  Norway wrote back.  [c/n] held in a giggle as she nodded.

"Yeah, by the way, I don't know your name.  May I have it?"  Norway nodded.

"I am Norway, one of the Nordic countries.  I share borders with the other Nordic countries."  Norway wrote.  [c/n] smiled and nodded.

"I share a border with my big brother Russia and my big sisters Ukraine and Belarus."  She wrote back.  She then glanced up at Germany, then back at the paper, writing, "Does anything actually get done in these meetings?"  Norway sighed as he shook his head.

"If only, because then this would be more bearable."  Norway wrote.  [c/n] gave him a sympathetic look.  The two then continued writing notes to each other throughout the meeting, Norway for once actually enjoying himself.

----------- Time Skip To After Meeting ------------

Norway gathered his things, leaving the meeting room.  Just as he was about to round the corner, he heard America's voice ring out.

"Come on dudette, why not ditch Russia and his gang and join me for some burgers and movies?"  America said.  Norway peeked around the corner, feeling rage beginning to form when he saw America practically trapping [c/n] against a wall.  Gritting his teeth, Norway composed himself and walked over to the two.

"There you are [c/n],"  Norway said coolly, gaining the attention of the other two.  He moved one of America's arms away, allowing [c/n] to escape America's grasp.

"Dude, Norway, we were in the middle of something."  America said somewhat seriously.  Norway kept himself composed, lest he lash out.

"Sorry to interrupt, but [c/n] has already promised to go get coffee with me,"  Norway said.  He then turned towards [c/n].  "Isn't that right [c/n]?"  [c/n], getting his drift, nodded and hugged his arm.  Norway felt his heart flutter but ignored it as he turned back to a peeved America.

"As you can see, she already has plans, so goodbye America."  Norway said, walking off with [c/n], away from a very angry American.

Once out of the building, Norway escorted her to a nearby cafe where the two sat down, each with a warm drink.  [c/n] then took out a little notebook and penned a note to Norway, passing it to him.

"Thanks again for the save, America wouldn't take 'no' for an answer."  She wrote.  It was then that the truth dawned on Norway.

"You're mute,"  He said in his usual monotone voice, gaining a nod from [c/n].  "And America was too oblivious to understand that."  He said, getting another nod from [c/n], who took a sip of her drink.

"Well, if it ever happens again, let me know,"  Norway said, writing down his phone number.  [c/n] blushed a bit, but nodded happily, pulling out her own phone.

After exchanging numbers and finishing their drinks, Norway offered to take [c/n] back to her hotel, to which she bashfully accepted.

The walk to the hotel was silent, but the pleasant kind, with [c/n] holding Norway's hand, half her face hidden in her scarf, hiding her blush.  When they made it to the hotel, they found a very scary Russia ordering the Baltics around, while his sisters paced around worriedly.

It was then that [c/n] broke away, leaving Norway to feel a pang of loneliness, as he watched her swiftly go over to Russia, tugging on his sleeve.  Russia turned around, his scary aura immediately disappearing as he engulfed [c/n] in a hug.  The Baltics breathed a sigh of relief as Ukraine and Belarus quickly joined Russia in looking over [c/n].

"Little sister is okay, da?  No one hurt little sister, da?"  Russia asked.  [c/n] nodded, gaining a sigh of relief from the bigger nation.  It was then that Norway made his way over.  [c/n] saw this and broke from the group, heading over to Norway and hugging his arm.  Russia tilted his head.

"What are you doing here Norway?"  He asked.

"I was just escorting her back.  America wouldn't take 'no' for an answer when she rejected to go out with him."  Norway said, feeling as though America would very much deserve what was probably going to come his way.  Russia 'kol'ed a bit as Belarus pulled out her knives.

"Da, thank you Norway for letting us know, kolkolkolkol..."  Russia said, getting his pipe out.  Belarus nodded.  Ukraine just shook her head as she walked over and hugged Norway.

"Thank you for bringing little sister [c/n] home to us, Mr. Norway!"  She said happily.  She then released Norway and hugged [c/n], the poor girl being smothered.  "Da, let us know if we can ever repay you!"  Norway nodded and waved goodbye, leaving the siblings and the Baltic Trio.

Though [c/n] soon felt a vibration come from her phone, alerting her to a message.

"Let's go to a cafe again some time."  It said, making [c/n] blush.  She happily sent a text back, a smile on her face.

Extended Ending:

"Little sister stay with big sister as big brother and I go deal with a no good American."  Belarus ordered.  [c/n] nodded, writing a note telling Belarus and Russia to be careful.

Both responded that they will, giving their cute sibling a kiss on the forehead before heading off to probably torture America, leaving [c/n] sitting on the bed of her room with Ukraine.  Ukraine quickly scooted over to [c/n].

"So~  Are you going to be seeing Norway again~?"  She asked.  [c/n] blushed, hiding her face in her scarf a bit, but nodded all the same.  Ukraine squealed and hugged her.

"Da, it is very good that you found such a nice young man!"  She said, only causing [c/n] to blush more.

Though, on the bright side, Ukraine's squeals of happiness were loud enough to drown out the screams of terror emitting down the hall from America's hotel room.
