Narrator's POV

"Ve~ [name], I'll-a be back-a in a bit-a!"  Feliciano to you.  Your ears flattened as you made whimpers, trying to plead for Feliciano not to go.  He opened his eyes and gave you a teary look as he hugged your furry body close.

"I-a don't want to-a go either, but-a Luddy is-a making me to-a.  But I-a promise I'll-a be back soon."  He said.  He then stood up and gave you a smile, making your heart flutter.  "But don't-a worry, Ludwig is-a going to-a leave Blitz with-a you!"  He said.  Your ears perked up at the thought of your friend coming over.

And soon enough, your fellow German Shepard arrived along with his owner.  After your owners left, you sighed and walked over to your dog bed, Blitz following you.

"You still haven't told your owner what you are yet have you?"  He asked.  You nodded and just hung your head.

"I'm just afraid Blitz,"  You said.  "Humans aren't like fellow dogs, they get scared of what's different and, let's face it Blitz, even in human form I really don't look like a human."  You said, covering you snout with your paw.  Blitz sighed and placed his head on your back.

"You don't look that different, you just have a tail and dog ears.  But you are right in that a lot humans will react bad, unlike us dogs."  He said.  You nodded.

"Yeah, but I really don't want Feliciano to react like how... they did before."  You said, shivering slightly at the memory of your last family, who cast you out because of what you were.  Blitz gently nudged his nose against your ear, a sign of comfort.

"But isn't Feliciano different?  I mean, even though he can be oblivious, he is still a good human, and an accepting one at that.  Just look at him and my master.  My master scares and intimidates a lot of people, but your master accepts him."  Blitz said.  You hummed in response.

"Yeah, but still, I'm nervous."  You said back.  Blitz got up and nodded before heading towards the door, motioning for you to follow.  Your ears perked up as you heard the faint but ever familiar 've' of your master.

Just as the door was about to open, Blitz did something unexpected; he pounced on you.

You yipped and tried to get him off, but he held you down, giving you a growl, burying his face in your neck.  You squirmed as the door was opened and a gasp was heard.

"Blitz!  Get off zhe frau!"  Ludwig barked.  You squirmed more as Blitz growled in response and kept on top of you.  You began whining verbally for help.  While Feliciano panicked a bit, Ludwig pulled Blitz by the collar and held him back as Feliciano, surprisingly, dashed forward and brought you into his arms.

"Ve~  Are you-a alright mia bella?"  Feliciano asked, looking over you in a worried manner.  You nuzzled your head into his chest.

"Feliciano, I'm sorry, I don't know vhat got into Blitz, he's never acted like zhis."  Ludwig apologized, still holding Blitz back.

"That's-a okay, but could you-a take Blitz and keep him away-a for a bit-a please?"  Feliciano asked, seeming to give Blitz a small glare, surprising both you and Ludwig.  But still, Ludwig nodded.

"Ja, see you another day Feliciano."  Ludwig said, dragging Blitz away, but you saw Blitz give you a wink, making you blush, but under all that fur, you knew no one would see.  When gone, Feliciano picked you up and carried you to his bedroom, placing you on the bed before lying down beside you.

"Bella, that-a really scared me.  I-a don't know what-a I'd do-a if something happened to-a you."  He said, petting your head.  You nuzzled into his hand, curling towards his body, giving his face a lick, getting him to giggle.

"I'm-a happy you-a like me too-a bella."  He said with his smile, making your heart race.  He sat up, looking out the window, noticing that darkness had now covered the city.  He opened his eyes at the sight of a falling star.

"Oh!  A falling star!  Okay, then-a I wish that-a mia bella [name] and-a I will-a be together forever and-a that no-a icky boy dogs try to-a take away mia bella!"  Feliciano said, hands pressed together.  You swore your heart stopped.

"Per favore, per favore, per favore [please],"  Feliciano kept repeating, eyes closed.

'Maybe this is my chance,'  You thought to yourself.  You closed your eyes and let yourself change, happy that you did have some clothing on.  You then took a deep breathe, before you spoke aloud for the first time in a long time.

"... Feliciano?"  You said, his name rolling off your tongue nicely.  Feliciano jumped off the bed, turning around, eyes opening as he stared at you.  You fidgeted nervously, your ears twitching.

"... B-bella?  [name], is that-a really you-a?"  Feliciano asked.  You gave a shy nod as Feliciano came forward.  He slowly moved his hand forward and made contact with your ears, gently scratching it like he always did.  You nuzzled into his hand.

"Ve~  It really is-a you bella!"  Feliciano said, hugging you close.  You hugged back, feeling really good to be hugged by your crush.  But it was over all too soon as he pulled back, still gripping your arms.

"Blitz didn't-a hurt you-a earlier did-a he?"  He asked seriously.  You shook your head.

"He made me uncomfortable and took me by surprise, but I'm alright, he wasn't really trying to hurt me."  You said.  Feliciano frowned but brought you back into his arms.

"So long as mia bella is-a safe, then I'll-a be happy..."  Feliciano mumbled, making you blush a bit.

"Umm... Feliciano?"  You said, your ears fidgeting a bit.

"Ve~?  What-a is it [name]?"  He asked, pulling away.  You took a deep breathe and closed your eyes before crashing your lips to Feliciano's.  Feliciano's eyes widened but he quickly closed them, kissing back as his arms wrapped around your slender form.

When you broke apart, Feliciano's grip on you tightened as he placed his forehead against yours.

"So I-a guess this-a means you-a like me?"  Feliciano asked.  You nodded, your blush worsening.

"Good,"  Feliciano said, giving you a quick kiss.  "Because I-a love mia bella too-a~"  You looked up and smiled at him, making it Feliciano's turn to blush.

"So will you-a be mia girlfriend?"  He asked.  You wagged your tail as you nuzzled into his embrace.

"Of course!"  You said happily, hugging your new boyfriend back before pulling him in for another kiss.
