China stood in front of Japan,who is adjusting the camera to film him.

Behind him is the scenery of his forest of green bamboos,the sun hidden but it still shone down a little ray on the green grass.

Japan lifted his thumb up,indicating everything's set.

China sucked in a deep breath and smiled when Japan pressed start.

"Hello everyone!It's me again,China-aru!I'm going to tell you a story...

"A story that happened years ago,before it all started.With me."

(China's POV)

I was on adventure that day...but something unexpected happened.

"Woah!"I beamed as i examined the new island i was on.

The forest around me is rich, wonderful,and wild;every exotic animals and plants are free that it reminded me of pandas flying...wait what?Aiyaa!Let me rephrase that,aru.It reminded me of pigeons flying...yeah.

I resumed walking and passed by herbs and animals that i took interest in.

"I will definitely try to raise these things back at my place,aru."

The walking,exploring and sight-seeing continued until suddenly,i stopped in my tracks as i saw a small kid wrapped in cloth glaring daggers at me(Guess Who).

"N-Nihao..."i tried saying friendly.Who knows if this is a beast!?

Her glare hardened and it got me extremely scared.How,Why,i do not know.

"H-Hey!!!Don't judge me like that!!!Stop staring,aru!"

I was offended by the way she examined me.Is something the problem on how i look!?

Her sour face turned soft,and suddenly she was smiling at me!!!

I caged the kid in my arms as i glomped him,twirling him around.

My jaw dropped at his words.

He can talk?And if he can't talk,why did i even question him?And he actually understood what i said?And what the heaven he doesn't have a name!?

"Well,in that case,I will name you Ma-I!Cool huh"why?'Cuz I ran out of ideas,honestly :P

"I would like that."she smiled cutely.

"Aww."I cooed.

"...kuya."

My eyes widened.Then smiled the world's biggest shit-eating-grin,as the youngsters say.

"Yay!Whatever that means I know it's positive it made me extremely happy,aru!"

And so I started to take care of her since then.

I taught her many things she needed to know.

We stood at the shore of one of Ma-I's beaches.The scenery is quite terrific,seeming it as it is the sunset,releasing colors red,pink,orange and light yellow in the once blue sky.

I turned to look at him.

"Ma-I?"

He turned to me gingerly and with a drawled voice,said

"What?"

I smiled at him and gazed at his beetle-black eyes.

"This is how you feed geese."

His bored eyes inspected the basket full of rice seeds I was holding.

I grabbed a handful of rice seeds and threw it to the ground,and minutes later different flocks of birds came charging at us.

"What...what the hell--heavens,aru!"I grabbed Ma-I and ran as fast as we could.

Good thing I left the basket on that spot we are in earlier--they didn't follow us as we hid behind a nearby tree.

I catched my breath with Ma-I looking up to see me.

He's it again with that judgemental stare.

"W-W-What!?"I don't know but his stare always made me nervous.

"Nothing.I just felt like growing."

"Really!?Wow!"and I carried him,then beamed."I'm so proud of you,I can't wait!"

"Anyway...the thing you taught me is kinda...dangerous."he said with a frown.

I laughed forcibly.

"It's because your place is different than mine!I thought that the result will just be the same at first!!!"

"I don't understand,"he shook his head.

And taught her many more things.

At times like this I just wanted to hit her head with a wok.But that won't do,since she's so cute.

Anyways,she taught me things in exchange.

"This is how you hunt in the easier,faster and bloodier way."

"I-I know,aru!"I trembled at a corner.

It's a shame that the blood of a dead pig stained the clothes I made him with blood.And it's frightening to see the dark look in his face while he holds the poor animal he just stabbed and killed.How he skillfully did that with such small hands and young age!

"Let's eat this now,kuya.I'm hungry."he said.

"What,raw!?That's unforgivable!"

"No,of course not."he laughed.

And then we roasted the pig.

"This is tasty!What's it called?"I asked the sitting boy beside me.

"Lechon."he said as he bit down the fried leg he was holding.

I was happily eating but suddenly I heard him gasp sharply,which of course worried me.

"M-Ma-I!?"

"I'm fine."he said.

"Oh.Okay then"I gave him a close-eyed smile,but when I opened my eyes I almost died,aru.

"M-M-MA-I!?YOU'RE A GIRL!?"

There sat the same face,but HER height now added a good 5-inches(she now reached my elbows,unlike before.Only my waist)and HER hair had grown longer than I expected,indicating SHE was no doubt a GIRL!!!

"Huh?I don't know"SHE shrugged.

I stood up,fuming.

"It's a big deal!Everything!I'm such an idiot I didn't notice!I failed you,my dear emperor!I failed the republic of China!"

She sweat dropped.

And many more things she taught me and i knew about her.

Until the time came I had to leave.

"Do you...really have to leave?"Ma-I asked as she pulled the end of my robes,preventing me to move.Her head hung low,a shadow casting half of her face.Her voice dripped with sorrow.

I paused to stare at her for a good ten-seconds but stopped before she could judge me with her killer stare.I wouldn't like that.

I smiled at her.

"Don't worry,xiao baobao(little baby).I will be back for sure,aru."

I have to do this,even with a heavy heart.My county needs me.

She released my robes as her hand fell limply at her sides.

She began to tear up with a smile.

"XieXie,Kuya!Hope you come back safely!"

I went near her to comfort her and tell her I won't be leaving anymore because I don't want to see her sad,but she pushed me away!!!>:X who in the right mind does that to concerned elders!?Right,no one--only she!!!

"Tanga(idiot)!"she laughed.See!?She calls me idiot!!!Conceited kid!?But...

"UWAAAAH I DON'T WANNA LEAVE ANYMORE COME WITH ME"I cried as I hugged her tightly.

And there she goes with the stare all over again which made me go to my boat without a word.

And then I came back.Full of surprises,aru.

She had grown fully now to a beautiful woman anyone who raised her might've been proud of--which I secretly wished it was me.But my absence for a long time already took place,and I can't change that.

"HEY!DON'T TOUCH FILIPINAS(Philippines)!!!"screeched Spain as I dragged Ma-I away from him.

"NO WAY!NEVERRR!"

So she's named Filipinas(Philippines) now,huh.

"You...you came...hah... back."she pants,catching her breath as we ran.

"Of course!Duh,"I turned to wink at her.

The video Kiku was taping ended with China having a warm,smug smile on his face.

"Arigatou gozaimasu for the cooperation.Now I know."

"Anytime.Just tell me about your history with her next time in return!"

Japan froze,while China's smile disappeared and was replaced with a confused frown.Silence reigned between the two of them.

"Ugh...Kiku?"

"I'll try,"and with that said the Japanese man broke into a sprint.

"A-AIYAA!KIKU HONDA GET BACK HERE!!!"
