America:

Philippines:
"Y-yeah sure."

Spain:
"Sooooo. I've seen that your relationship with Mi hija is getting closer. Your promise to her haven't been broken huh?"

Spain interrupted their chat as they faced to him.

Philippines/ America:
"Uhhh, well."

Spain:
"Well?"

America:
"Well, I actually lied about the independence that I promised to her. But Everything's fine now. Philippines got her independence after the war."

He said as Spain sighed.

Spain:
"I see. But I'll keep my eye on you. If something happens to her I'll swear I'm gonna kill you."

America:

He said cheerfully when they heard the other nations sighed and some of them was getting a bit annoyed.

Its been 333 years since I've waited and waited to leave Spain. But then someone helped me to be free. His name is Alfred F. Jones. He represents the country of USA or America. He's really kind and a good friend. He may be loud and annoying all the time but I really find it really funny. Every time I think about him I blush and its really embarrassing. He promised to me that he'll help me gain my independence. But all of it was just a lie.

Philippines:
"W-why?! Why did you do this to me?! I've waited for so long. And now all of it was just a LIE?!?! I thought we were friends but then our relationship keeps growing and growing. I nearly wanted to love you. But then you ruined everything and it made my feelings fall apart."

America:
"Look, just let me explain-"

Philippines:
"Shut up! I don't want to listen one of your lies anymore. I'm done and its over."

I have never felt so sad and depressed. This is how Spain treated me. Lies. All lies.

The Philippine-American war started. First of all he shot one of my people. Then I felt hatred.

They went silent for a few minutes. But then Philippines decided to speak.

Philippines:
"I'm sorry that I'm the one who started the war. I mean, this situation is the same as Spain did. I really trusted him for centuries. But then he made it worst. My people suffered because of me, I'm not strong enough to beat him for myself. Not even you. I'm sorry...."

America:
"Come on! Don't cry...... Anyway you only do it for the sake of you and your people. You made them feel brave and strong in the inside."

Philippines:
"Heheh! I know, if it wasn't for you and Spain, I won't be in this situation as now."

America:
"Yeah!........H-hey? Um can you still forgive me?"

Philippines:
"Well, only if you give my independence!"

America:
"Hahaha! Don't worry I promise that I will gain your Independence. But then let's pinky promise for that."

Philippines:
"Huh? Pinky promise? What's that?"

America:
"Um well you held your pinky up with your right hand and then I'll wrap my pinky into yours.

He wraps his pinky with his right hand to hers. Philippines blushes a little when their little finger part touched each other.

Philippines:
"So, Promise?"

America:

He promised this time. And I forgive him for that. The war lasted for 3 years. My mind tells me I should forgive him in that day but I decide in the right time.

World war II began and Japan declares a war between me an him. It would be unlucky for me if I beat him alone because he was releasing bombs during a war which happens in Hawaii at America and also he's a strong nation as well.

Luckily America came to my country to help and we formed an alliance with each other. But then we lost as Japan captured us.

America:
"I can't believe Japan captured us and tie us like this."

Philippines:
"I agree with you. And also I'm really tired and my feet are killing me."

while they were walking Philippines suddenly tripped. Both of her knees got injured.

America:
"Philippines! Are you alright?!"

Philippines:
"I'm alright but-"

Suddenly Japan saw this.

Japan:
"What's going on here?!"

America:
"Can't you see she's injured here!"

Japan:
"Fine, if she doesn't move or walk then I have no choice but to kill her."

Philippines:
"W-what?!"

America:
"Hold on a minute! Are you insane?!"

Japan:
"Alright then. Do have any other options?"

America:
"I'll carry her."

Philippines:
"W-what!? B-but what about-"

Japan:
"Very well. We'll untie you just as you can hold her. But if you try to escape I'll I have no choice but to kill both of you."

One of Japan's soldier untie the rope from america but as for Philippines they leave her with her hands tied. Then America went to her and give her a piggyback ride.

(Time Skip)

Philippines was really worried about america letting him carry her all day. They've heard from the other soldiers that they'll reach their destination for a few days.

Days have passed, they've reached the place and all the other soldiers rested. Mostly the Filipinos and American soldiers haven't eat and drink. Which some of them have survived and the others just faint and died.

America let's Philippines down on the ground gently as they both sat and rest.

America:
"how's your knee?"

Philippines:
"Its alright now. A-anyways..... I'm sorry."

America:
"Huh? What for?"

Philippines:
"Uhm actually you've been carrying me for days and I've begin to worried that you felt exhausted after all that walking. After all I felt better since then."

America:
"Haha! Sorry I couldn't help myself. But."

Philippines:
"Hmm? But what?"

America:
"....................well sorry that I have to tell you this. Since I'm a nation I've been giving an order to retreat."

Philippines:
"W-wait? Your leaving me?"

America:
"I-its okay. My boss says that we need to retreat to reinforcements. Its the only way that we could defeat Japan."

He looked into her eyes just to understand the situation. But now Philippines have his trust on him now.

Philippines:
"I understand. Promise me that you'll return."

America:
"I Promise."

They went silent as America raised his hand and holds her left cheek.

America:
"I forgot to ask you? Do you still forgive me?"

Philippines was surprised and smiled. It was her time to say it.

Philippines:
"I forgive you."

America:
"Then, I bet this promise won't be forgotten with this charm."

He leans closer to her as their lips touched. You may know this wasn't the time for a kiss but this kiss is different. Since the pinky promise has taken, a promise with a kiss can make an unbreakable promise to each other. Philippines was very surprised that she actually kissed him. She accepted it as she kissed back with her tears flow out of her eyes. It will be a long day that
America came back. But she doesn't care about that. But A promise is a promise, right?

They broke the kiss and smiled at each other.

I shall return.

I remembered those days that me and America had those good times. And it made me happy. After that he left I have suffered so much for being Japan's slave. He didn't do anything but hurt me. I thought the day was the day he will murder me but it wasn't.

Philippines begin to sat next to America which its on the right side. The meeting was loud as always.

America:
"Philippines, are you free on Saturday?"

Philippines:

America:
"W-we-well, there was someone I really want you to meet. And she would be happy if you two can meet with each other."

Philippines:
"Really? Whats her name? If she from your country?"

America:
"Umm, yeah! So will you come and meet her?"

Philippines:
"Sure! I'll be looking forward to it!"

The happiest day of my life was to gain my independence and be free with my people. His happens after the world war 2. My flag was now waved in front of my people, and now me and my boss will signed our independence. And then we did. We also celebrated my first independence. All of the nations and capitals i have met joined as well.

After Philippines and her boss accepted the independence, she and America went outside the office and went to the hallways. It made Philippines blushes cause they were alone.

America:
"Im glad your very happy that you have your independence from me and Spain."

Philippines:
"Yeah, thank you. We promised to each other about this."

America:
"Yeah. Hey! Do you remember that sexond promise we made?"

He smirked as Philippines blushed.

Philippines:
"I-i.....uhh....I'm sorry I couldn't help myself thinking about it."

She felt herself being pushed gently into a wall. His hands were both rested on her shoulder. But as for america he blushed just a little.

America:
"D-do you want me to kiss you again? You know as a reward?"

Philippines blushed and she nodded.

They kissed very passionate.
