Emil was sat on the beach, looking out over the water. In a few hours, a boat would let down it's anchor at the pier, from which he sat about 50 meters away. His best friend was on that boat, who was coming back after three years of living in Hong Kong, back with his parents.

Leon was very excited to go back to Iceland. He had gone there when he was 15, and he'd stayed there for a year before his parents wanted to go back to Hong Kong. There, he'd lived for another three years, before he'd made enough money to go back to Iceland, where his first and best friend lived.

Emil knew he had feelings for the Asian boy, but he didn't want to ruin their relationship and so he kept them hidden well. Leon had realized it over the three years they had been talking though WhatsApp, that he yearned to see the Icelandic boy again.

Emil had been waiting for a while now, and decided to head back to the pier. He had wanted to say something to Leon when he was still with him, but then Leon moved back to Hong Kong, and he never got a chance.

Leon felt great. He felt like he was coming back to his home after three years of being seperated from it. His cold, wet, but beautiful home.

Emil was hopelessly in love with Leon. He knew that, he'd always known that, but he didn't know how to tell him.

And so I'm sailing through the sea
To an island where we'll meet

Leon asked a crew member how long it'd take for them to reach their destination. Half an hour. Leon got excited and couldn't sit still. Half an hour and he'd be off of the boat, and on the island, where his boyfr-- bestfriend was.

Though the breezes through the trees
Move so pretty you're all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now

Emil waited anxiously for the boat to arrive. He wanted to see Leon so badly, he had to try really hard to sit still.

When the boat arrived, Leon was the first to set foot on land. He'd quickly gathered all of his suitcases with stuff and walked off of the boat onto the island as fast as he could.

Emil saw Leon coming, and had to refrain himself from running towards him. He quickly approached him though, and hugged him when they were close enough.

"Hi, Leon!" He said, and he prepared for him to say the next thing.

"I have to tell you something... I-I... I love you." He said, waiting for his best friend's reaction. Leon just stood there, mouth open.

"Really? That's like, so awesome! I never expected you to confess, I thought I had to! Of course, I love you too!" He said, hugging the Icelander tighter.

"I'm so glad to be home." Leon said.

"I'm glad you're here too. Do you know how long I've waited to say that?" Emil asked his new boyfriend.

"No, how long?"

"Three years. You're lucky I still wasn't over you yet, after those years." Emil said, although he was smiling a bit.

"I am so lucky, you wouldn't believe it. I'm the luckiest person alive."
