Snow storms (Nyo!PruHun)

Daniel cursed himself for not thinking to bring a jacket. It's just a little wind, he told himself, who would've thought it would get this cold in winter.

That was not the smartest move on his part. Of course, the weather app on his phone had alerted him too late of the freak snow storm approaching. He was already 10 minutes away from his house.

He looked around at the neighborhood. His brain had told him earlier that a nice walk to the store might be good for him. So here he was, in a random neighborhood, freezing to death.

His green irises landed on a house and he signed a breath of relief. He identified it as one of his best friend's, Julchen, house. He trotted up to the front door and knocked on it. Her car was in the driveway and Daniel could see her TV on through the window.

" Coming!" He heard her shout from the other side. Her face peaked out from behind the curtain and he could see a look of shock on her face at the sight of him.

He waved and she rushed the unlock the door. He snorted as she threw open the door and knocked the lamp off the table next to the door. They both cringed at the loud noise it made when it shattered.

" Zhe awesome me had no use for zhat lamp anyvay." She waved it off.

He chuckled at her excuse. She cleared her throat and ran a hand through her plentiful white hair. " So, vhat brings jou to mein awesome home?"

He looked over his shoulder at the snow coming down with seemingly no end. " I don't know, maybe I'm just enjoying the snow in little to no warm clothing and decided to stop by your house which happens to have indoor heating to say 'hi'. I'll be on my way now." He raised an eyebrow, his voice thick with sarcasm.

She crossed her arms. " No need to be rude." She was a bit disappointed that was the only reason he'd dropped by unexpectedly.

Daniel's eyes trailed down her figure. She looked rather comfy in her t-shirt and pajama pants, but he could see her shivering from the cold wind even though she seemed to ignore it. His gaze landed on her feet and he frowned.

" Julie, your bleeding. I think the glass from the lamp cut you." He pushed past her into house without waiting for her to invite him in.

She glanced down but pretended to not feel the pain. " Psh, zhat's nozhing. I can handle a little blood." She closed the door and took a step towards the living room.

He noticed her wince at the pressure that was applied to her cut foot. He rolled his eyes and reached down, scooping her up bridal-style. She shrieked, her pale face becoming a brilliant red hue.

" You don't look okay." He stepped over the glass and walked to the couch, setting her down only once he had sat down himself.

" D-Danny, I-I'm fine. I promise." He shot her a pointed look.

" Don't lie to me." He retorted simply. He lifted her foot up and groaned. " Julchen, you've completely demolished your skin! You can't possibly be okay!" He stood up and ran to the bathroom.

Julchen took the time alone to try and calm down his blush. She inhaled deeply to keep from reacting to the pain. Her foot was on fire from the glass stuck in her foot. Daniel returned with a pair of tweezers, bandages, and a damp cloth.

He got to work, trying not to hurt her as he pulled the glass from her foot. He finished after several minutes of working in silence. He wiped the blood off carefully before wrapping her wounds. " There we go."

She stood up, eager to be a proper host since she didn't know when the snowstorm would end. Whenever the end would arrive, she wanted to be able to make the most of her time in his presence. He watched her curiously. " C-Can I get jou some hot coco?" She offered.

He shrugged and she took that as a yes. She scrambled to the kitchen, outwardly cringing at her self. " Zhat's zhe best jou could come up vith? Great job Julchen." She whispered, mostly to herself.

She prepared their drinks and entered the room again, were Daniel was reading a book that Julchen was very familiar with. She turned bright red and slammed the two mugs down on the table, snatching it from him.

" Hey! That was fascinating!" He whined. She scoffed.

" So mein diary interests jou?!" She half-yelled. He wasn't in the mood to explain himself, so he ignored her. " Don't ignore me Danny!" She sat down and tugged on his sleeve.

" You have nice hand writing." He joked. " I didn't read exactly why, but I saw my name quite a few times in there." He smirked.

She hid her face in her hands. " Vhat did jou see?" She asked quietly.

" Not much. Just boring things like what you did that day, what song was your favorite, how much you love me." He took a sip of his hot chocolate.

She yelped. " J-Jou read zhat?!" She couldn't believe him, going through her diary and finding her secrets.

He shook his head with a chuckle at her surprised face. " No, I didn't. But I think your reaction is a good enough confession." He snorted.

Her face was now more red from anger than embarrassment. She waited for him to set down his drink before tackling him. " Jou're so mean, Danny! Vhy vould I ever love someone like zhat!" She shouted.

Daniel tensed up and his smile fell. " W-What?"

She realized what she'd said too late. She covered her mouth and backed up. " N-Not zhat jou aren't ever nice, or charming, or handsome..."

He stood up and towered over her smaller person. " Good to know." He turned on his heel and left her house, leaving her in shock.

Her world began to blur around her as tears formed in her eyes. She heard a distant voice calling her name.

Her ruby eyes fluttered open and she could make out the face of Daniel over her, looking extremely worried. " Oh thank goodness, Julie. You had me so worried. You passed out from the pain when I pulled a big chunk of glass from your foot and then you started crying so I panicked!" He rambled, helping her sit up.

She held her head, completely confused. It had just been a dream? She hadn't scared him off. Her eyes flicked to the shelf where she'd left her diary, a small breath of relief coming from her at the sight of it sitting there, undisturbed.

" I-I'm fine, Danny." She assured. She saw that he'd started a small fire in the fireplace. Or had she done that? She wasn't sure anymore.

Daniel noticed her distant eyes and bit his lip. " You said my name several times."

That got her attention. She looked at him with a frown on her face. " You called my name over and over again when you were unconscious. Were you having a bad dream?"

She thought for a moment. " I guess you could say that. . ."

He grabbed her hand and scooted closer. " About what?" He studied her eyes.

Before she could stop herself, she threw her arms around him, pushing him back on the couch and hugging him. " Don't leave me." She whispered.

He blinked, surprised by her sudden actions. He wrapped his own arms around her waist and snuggled closer. " I won't leave you." He mumbled. He let her scent overwhelm his senses.

" And don't touch mein diary." She smiled softly. He stared at her.

" Where did that come from?!" He laughed. " That's so weird, just like you."

She blushed, pouting slightly. " Just be quiet, jou're cuter like zhat."

He tried to reply, but his mouth couldn't form a sentence. His brain decided his response for him. He pulled away from the hug enough to look her in the eye and crashed his lips onto hers.

Her eyes widened, not expecting that from him. She gradually returned the kiss with equal passion. He pulled away shortly after with a huge grin.

They sat up and watched the television by the warmth of the fire, curled up under a blanket. Daniel rested his head on top of Julchen's as her eyes started to droop.

" By the way, I went through your diary while you were asleep."
