"Cinderella"

The young girl of age 3 was dancing around the living room, wearing her (f/c) princess dress. It was her favorite. Her imagination was truly outstanding. Every time she put on the dress, her mind wanders off to her own fantasy world, having known a prince and dancing with him. Although she was young, she knew in her heart that her dad, Lovino Vargas wouldn't let her. He was all the more protective of her.

You couldn't help but think, though, so you decided to ask him for some help. He was in the kitchen cooking some pasta, your favorite dish. A smile was plastered on your face as you walked up to him.

"Daddy!!" Your high pitched voice rang through the room, making the Italian smile a gentle smile. He wouldn't admit to anyone, though, but you always made him smile. Every time you come in the room, his anger would dissipate and only calmness and peace filled him.
His head turned to your little figure, the smile still somewhat stitched on his face.

"Si, bella? What do you-a want?" His voice even carried a peaceful manner. No harshness was detected, but you didn't know that. You were all too young to even understand what was going on.

"Dance with-a me, please!" Your (e/c) eyes gleamed with plead and excitement. He knew he can't win over those wonderful eyes of yours, so he quickly finished the pasta and knelt down to your level.

"Sure-a thing. But let's-a make it-a quick. I have-a lot of-a work to do-a." You nodded your head and held his hand.

"Come here! There's-a more room in-a the living-a room!!" You giggled as you kept pulling him to the living room. You turned on a slow song and started teaching him how to dance. He chuckled softly and watched you, the song and your voice droning out of his head. He was admiring the young princess before him.

|| She spins and she sways to
|| whatever song plays
|| Without a care in the world

He remembered that he had so much work to do, so without thinking he got up and went to the phone. He was angry now that he hadn't heard from his brother. He was busy this weekend and he wanted Feliciano to watch over you while he was gone. He mumbled curses under his breath and dialed some numbers. When Ludwig picked up the phone, he began to cuss him out.

You stopped dancing to look at him.

'He seemed angry. .' You thought, so the first thing you do was go to him. You tugged on him gently and he looked down at you. Your big eyes calming him. He knew exactly what you want.

"I am-a coming, bambina." He followed you to the kitchen and say at the couch, watching you dance around again.

|| And I'm sitting here wearing
|| The weight of the world on my shoulders

He knew he had so much to do, but he also didn't want to get his eyes off of you. You were all too precious to him.

|| It's been a long day and there's still work to do
|| She's pulling at me saying, "Dad, I need you
|| There's a ball at the castle and I've been invited
|| And I need to practice my dancing, oh please, daddy, please"

He sighed and took her hand.

"Sure, bambina. I will-a dance with-a you." Your (e/c) eyes sparkled with excitement as you danced happily with him.

|| So I will dance with Cinderella while she is here in my arms
|| 'Cause I know something the prince never knew
|| Oh, I will dance with Cinderella, I don't want to miss even one song
|| 'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight and she'll be gone

You yawned as the chorus ended. Tiredly, you rubbed your eyes. Lovino smiled softly at your tired figure. He scooped you up and brought you to your room.

"Mi bambina is tired. Time for a siesta." You protested, saying you weren't tired but that failed with anther yawn and droopy eyes. He laid you on your bed and kissed your forehead. He sure was lucky to have a daughter like you.

You were now a teenager. Your crush in school had asked you to the prom your school is having. You came home feeling too excited and really happy. Your father held a smile on his face as he watch his cheerful teenage girl being happy.

"Oi! (F/N), why are you-a so happy-a today?" He asked when you entered the kitchen to grab a snack. You inhaled deeply and skipped to him, hugging him.

"Papà! He-a asked me to-a the dance!"

"He-a did?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Sure she was his daughter and he spoils her but having a boyfriend? No. Just no.

"Oh, Papà, don't-a go thinking that he is-a bad boy. He-a isn't. You-a met him before, remember?" He gave it a second to think and nodded.

"Alright, let us-a go dress shopping." You squealed, happy that he approved.

The two of you are in the dress shop, you trying to find the most appropriate dress to wear. Romano kept asking about the guy who asked you. You giggled.

|| She says he's a nice guy and I'd be impressed
|| She wants to know if I approve of the dress
|| She says, "Dad the prom is just one week away
|| And I need to practice my dancing, oh please, daddy, please"
|| So I will dance with Cinderella while she is here in my arms
|| 'Cause I know something the prince never knew
|| Oh, I will dance with Cinderella, I don't want to miss even one song
|| 'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight and she'll be gone
|| She will be gone

It was the night of the prom, you were wearing your dress. You looked stunning. Your father looked at you in awe. He held in the tears. He didn't want to see you grow up so fast, but knew that it was about time you made a few choices of your own. He pulled you into an embrace and whispered something in your ear.

"Te Amo, my daughter. You are beautiful." You smiled, hugging him back. A single tear rolled down his cheek as you walked out the door. You were simply growing up too fast.

"Mi bambina. ."

It has been five years since the dance, and Lovino knew his precious (f/n) isn't here with him anymore. He knew she's out in college. He knew she is having her own life, but losing her, after a short period of time, it just hurts.

There was a sudden knock at his door.

Quickly rushing to the door, Lovino opened it, and surprise hit him as he faced the familiar face of his precious daughter again.

"(Y/n)!" He said, above whisper but quieter than normal volume. He hugged you tightly, not wanting to let you go from him. You hugged him back, knowing he missed you so.

"Papà. I have-a something to-a tell you." A smile wavered on her lips as she led him to the couch in the living room.

|| But she came home today with a ring on her hand
|| Just glowing and telling us all they had planned
|| She says, "Dad, the wedding's still six months away
|| And I need to practice my dancing, oh please, daddy, please"

The day of the wedding; it was a magical place. You were wearing the prettiest white gown, dancing with the love of your life while your father, Lovino watched from the crowd, the tears stubbornly trying to come out. He had never been this happy in a long time. The moment you were born to the day you wed. Truly, an amazing sight. Absolutely breathtaking.

When the song ended, he walked up to you. You couldn't help but smile at your father's tear stained face. He gently grabbed your hands and started swaying with you to the second song. It was 'Cinderella.' He couldn't help but have tears gently flow from his eyes again as he thought of the lyrics, imagining her in his head. You giggle softly and wiped them away.

"Papà," you started softly, "don't-a cry. I am-a here." He smiled and nodded, hugging you when the song had ended.

"One-a more song. ." He whispered, smiling sweetly. You couldn't help but giggle and accept.

|| So I will dance with Cinderella while she is here in my arms
|| 'Cause I know something the prince never knew
|| Oh, I will dance with Cinderella, I don't want to miss even one song
|| 'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight

Suddenly, you began to feel weak. Your vision blurs, but your Papà doesn't know that. He thinks you're still his healthy little girl. What he didn't expect next was that you collapsed in his arms.

"(F/N)! (F/N)!!!" And all went black.

He cried, not knowing what would happen to you. Everyone saw you in your state and immediately called 9-1-1. Everyone was panicking. Slowly, your eyes opened. Your breath was short and ragged. Slowly, your hand made it's way up to his face.

"Papà, I-a will be alright. Don't-a worry about-a me." Lovino shook his head wildly, not going to accept that.

"No! You-a will be fine. You-a will be-a healthy. Trust-a me." A small giggle escaped your lips.

"Papà. . Promise. . promise-a me that you-a will be-a strong." A few stray tears fell from your face, knowing that this was going to be the end of you.

"No! Don't-a say that!" He hugged you tight, not wanting to let you go. Questions formed in his head. What had happened to you? Why didn't you tell him?

"P-Papà, I love... you." Those were the last words before your body fell limp. Lovino's eyes widened. Tears began to fall from his face. He was never going to see you again.

"(F/n).. (F/n)..! (F/n)!!!!" He sobbed, holding your figure close.

|| and she'll be gone

"Goodbye, Papà"
