Prussia's precious bird was given to him by Old Fritz, and is actually a Prussian Eagle, but only a chick. Prussia hoped Gilbird would become a full fledged eagle once he became a great nation, but he was dissolved and Glibird is stuck as a chick. But no matter what, Gilbird has never left him, and Prussia is eternally grateful for that.
