New York

Rosy the Yorkshire Terrier (Female): This particular terrier has a silky black-and-tan coat, usually presented in the Westie cut with a bow at the top of their head. New York got the Yorkie as a gift from England. In addition to working as a therapy dog, Rosy also has the task of ratting any rodents found throughout the apartment.

Felix the Ragamuffin (Male): A Tuxedo cat with green eyes and a fondness for puns. They were adopted to help take care of New York's rodent problems, however, they proved to be less than useful. "Master Tom" only desires to eat and sleep all day.

Lilac the Holland Lop (Female): A doe with a broken lilac coat. They were given to New York as a gift from Netherlands. Apple slices are their favorite snack.

Asshat the Brown Rat (Male): New York suspects the large rodent to be the boss of a mob of smaller rats within the walls of the condominium. Despite the work of ratters and professional exterminators, Asshat continues to exist and be a nuisance for many New Yorkers. Pizza is their favorite food.

North Carolina

Venn the Plott Hound (Male): This particular Plott has a red brindle coat. North Carolina was recommended the breed during her search for a hunting dog. Though socially adept, they don't get along with South Carolina and her dogs.

Lily the Carolina Dog (Female): This particular canine has a fawn coat. The Carolinas found them and their littermate all alone while wandering in a forest; each sister took one pup to raise back home. Compared to their littermate, Lily is shy and reserved, rarely causing trouble for anyone.

Rhode Island

Rodney the Rhode Island Red Chicken: An aggressive rooster who likes to show off how big it is. They usually roam around Rhode Island's home as a "watchdog" of sorts. Rhode Island used to rely on them as a morning alarm clock, however, Rodney would wake the state either too early or too late in the day.

Rhode Island White Chickens: A small flock of hens who are usually overshadowed by the Rhode Island Red. Unlike the raucous rooster, they're quite friendly and docile. They love eating apples.

A/N: Rhode Island also has a medium-size aquarium of saltwater fish.

Vermont

Bella the Domestic Shorthair (Female): A tortoiseshell cat with hazel eyes, distinguished for having a split-face pattern. In addition, they're known for having quite an attitude, having scratched several guests in the past. They like to sunbathe by a window.

Tiger the American Wirehair (Male): A brown-and-white mackerel tabby with amber eyes, distinguished for having a wiry coat. Tiger spends part of their time in the outdoors, allowed outside on sunny afternoons as long as they leave the songbirds alone. They dislike their whiskers getting touched.

Tommy the American Curl (Male): A silver spotted tabby with green eyes, distinguished for having curled ear. Tommy is a curious and playful kitty who likes to receive lots of affection from its owner, often nuzzling them whenever they return home after a long period of absence. They love scratches behind the ears.

Luna the Himalayan (Female): A seal colorpoint with blue eyes and a doll face. Not to be confused for Luna the Fashion Kitty, this Himmy is more of a food aficionado than a fashionista, only desiring the most luxurious cat foods. Their favorite spot to nap is Vermont's lap.

Kentucky

Frankie the Treeing Walker Coonhound (Male): A tricolored coonhound that loves hunting, especially at night. They dislike trips to the vet clinic. Squirrels are their favorite animal to hunt.

Louie the Beagle (Male): A classic tricolored scent hound prone to reverse sneezing and weight gains when inactive. They love to sing whenever Kentucky plays some music. Rabbits are their favorite animal to hunt.

Viceroy Blue the Thoroughbred (Male): A dark bay stallion nicknamed Roy. Kentucky raises various horse breeds, but his favorite will always be Roy, having ridden them since the beginning of his life. Blackberries are their favorite treat.

Kentucky Specks: A flock of black-and-white mottled chickens raised for eggs. They like to roam around the property in the daytime, only going back to the coop to roost when it's nighttime. They sometimes have nightmares about Kentucky turning them into fried chicken.

Lexie the American Mammoth Jackstock (Female): Kentucky got the black-and-white jenny as a gift from Virginia when he obtained statehood. Most of the time, Lexie eats grass and sasses the horses, most notably Roy who's known to get frisky around them. Like all donkeys, they inherit a natural disliking toward canines.

Colonel Brown the Bourbon Red Turkey (Male): A handsome tom often called The Colonel. They mainly serve as a backyard decoration, often strutting around the entrance of the property and greeting guests. There have been several close-calls from trespassing hunters, but Colonel Brown manages to survive each time unscathed.

A/N: Other horse breeds Kentucky owns include Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horses, Mountain Pleasure Horses, and Rocky Mountain Horses. I also thought about giving him a Bombay (cat), however, I didn't see him as the type to own a cat; Nyo! Kentucky would probably own one though.

Tennessee

Barrett the Treeing Tennessee Brindle (Male): A brindle cur that likes to howl along to Tennessee's music. They're not only a great singer, but they're also great at hunting. They usually eat whichever animals they hunted.

Brook the Bluetick Coonhound (Female): A nine-week-old bluetick puppy working on becoming an awesome hunting dog. Despite their slow demeanor, they're quite good at problem-solving. They also have an excellent nose, however, it can sometimes lead them to trouble, particularly a trash can.

Smoky Iris the Tennessee Walking Horse (Female): A mare with a smoky black coat nicknamed Iris. Tennessee has ridden numerous horses throughout his life, but Iris is his favorite for their calm, elegant demeanor. They have been an inspiration for many of his songs.

Elvis the Myotonic Goat (Male): Tennessee raises a small trip of goats, but his favorite is a kid with a black-and-white coat. True to the breed, they tend to faint when startled. Not to worry though, Elvis is perfectly fine after about three days of recovery.

Ohio

Apollo the American Eskimo Dog (Male): A standard-size Eskie with a talent for tightrope walking. Their dream is to fly up to space and be the first dog to step on the moon. Swiss cheese is their favorite treat.

Cincy the Bengal Cat (Female): This particular feline has hazel eyes and a glittering brown-marbled coat. Cincy is an active cat who refuses to leave Ohio alone until he plays with them. Like their owner, they despise That State Up North and their cat.

Bucky the Silver Fox Rabbit (Male): A buck with a blackish blue coat. Ohio considers them to be his first pet, so he tends to dote on them a lot. Bucky is smart enough to respond whenever their name is called.

Buckeye Chickens: A small flock of hens raised in a backyard. They were frequent victims of Michigan's uncontrollable wolverine, however, Ohio managed to build a case and sue her for reparations. Tomatoes are their favorite snack.

Louisiana

Soul the Catahoula Leopard Dog (Female): This particular cur has glass eyes and a coarse blue leopard coat. Along with Louisiana's other dogs, they have a talent for hunting game animals no matter their size. Andouille sausage is their favorite treat.

Rex the Catahoula Bulldog (Male): This particular canine has green eyes and a smooth white-and-light-gray leopard coat. Though wary of strangers, Rex has a sweet spot for children. Banana pudding is their favorite treat.

Rouge the Pitbull Terrier (Female): This particular canine has hazel eyes and a red-and-white coat. Contrary to the breed's infamous reputation, Rouge is a gentle darling that'll only bite feral pigs. Shrimp and crawfish tails are their favorite treats.

France the American Green Tree Frog (Male): Louisiana caught the medium-size frog during her time as a French colony. Whenever France was absent, she would often talk to the frog as though the country was there. France tried to get her to change the name, but Louisiana refused despite various suggestions.

Louisiana Crawfish: Louisiana would occasionally find a rare color of mudbug while fishing during crawfish season. Unique colors that have been found include orange, scarlet, blue, yellow, white, and black. She usually keeps them for display in a freshwater aquarium.

Bubba the Brown Pelican (Male): Bubba often hangs around harbors, stalking fishermen for a portion of their catch. Louisiana is fine with giving him trash fish. But if he gets greedy, she won't hesitate to give them a piece of her mind.

Indiana

Rusty the Exotic Shorthair (Male): A large orange tabby with amber eyes and a ferocious appetite. Lasagna is their favorite food despite Indiana's efforts to keep it away from them. She tries to get the lazy cat to exercise and shed weight, but Rusty hides wherever she's unlikely to find them.

Satin Rabbits (Females): Indiana owns a trio of them named Tulip, Zinnia, and Peony. They each have a copper, red, and white coat respectively. Getting groomed is their favorite pastime.

Mississippi

Teddy the Zuchon (Male): A Shih Tzu-Bichon Frisé mix with a toffee-and-white coat. Soft, cuddly, friendly, and adorable—Mississippi adores the puppy with constant treats, giving them a chubby appearance. Against everyone's advice, Mississippi continues to feed unhealthy things to her little Teddy Bear.

Todd the Red Fox (Male): Mississippi originally found them as a malnourished kit living underneath her garden shed. She nursed them until they were healthy again, planning to release them back to the wild as soon as they were capable of surviving on their own. However, Todd had since remained closed to Mississippi's home, often eating leftover food that has been left out for them.
