A provisional government for the Territory of Jefferson was created in 1859, however, it failed to gain federal approval. Instead, the Colorado Territory was approved by Congress, created on February 28, 1861.

Personality: Chill and Humorous. Contrary to popular perception, he isn't a total lazy stoner. Despite getting the constant munchies, this colorful man knows how to stay fit through his love of the outdoors; it explains the low obesity rate. With that said, don't expect him to take everything seriously. It's common for him to be forgetful and indecisive—they come with his lighthearted attitude. Combined with his wisecracks, there are plenty of reasons to be annoyed with his carefree chortles. Unfortunately for critics, he's unaffected when chastised. It's impossible to offend him; it's usually easier to get a smile than a scowl out of him. Whenever he does get agitated, he'll always resort to weed to relieve the stress. Overall, he's a cool yet sensible dude with an uncanny talent for sliding down snowy slopes with ease.
