33. Oregon
Nickname: The Beaver State
Human Name: Morgan Beverley
Age: 18 Years Old
Gender: Female
Historical Background: Spanish explorers were the first Europeans to step foot in the region in 1543. The British and the Russians later explored and laid claims to the area alongside the French by 1778. By the first decade of the 19th century, American and French-Canadian settlers began to explore and settle in the area. This led to Great Britain and the United States sharing the Columbia District/Oregon Country in 1818 until later negotiations. In 1846, British-American negotiations decided on the border between Canada and the United States, resulting in the organization of the Oregon Territory on August 13th.
Statehood: February 14, 1859 (33rd)
Hair Color: Coffee Brown

Height: 5' 7" (169 cm)
Notable Traits: Her hair is worn in a low ponytail; she also has an ahoge resembling the Swoosh. She wears glasses with round frames. She'll sometimes sport a rose in her hair representing Portland. She has a rosy blush. She carries a brown backpack to hold her belongings and her beaver.

Personality: Compassionate and Imaginative. Between animals and human beings, this tree-hugging greenie will always favor the former than the latter. No kidding, she loves the Earth and will do everything she can to better the environment. She loves to try and come up with unique ideas that seem good on paper. Unfortunately, her ideas don't seem to mesh well with traditionalists. Even among hipsters, her ideals seem too romantic and presumptuous like her taste in fine cuisine. Her sensitivities can get the best of her, but they don't stop her from doing things at her own creative pace. Because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what others may think of her. Being weird means being original in her thankful opinion. For that reason, she'll continue to be a trendsetter among the modern and liberated.
