16. Tennessee
Nickname: The Volunteer State
Human Name: Trent Crockett
Age: 19 Years Old
Gender: Male
Historical Background: The region was first explored by the Spanish in the 16th century. In 1756, the first British settlement was built on that land. After the American Revolutionary War, the region became a part of North Carolina until a few counties rebelled in 1784, declaring itself the State of Franklin. Unfortunately, the State of Franklin was unable to enter the Union, eventually returning to North Carolina in 1789. That same year, North Carolina ratified the U.S. Constitution, consequently ceding land that became the Southwest Territory and later the State of Tennessee.
Statehood: June 1, 1796 (16th)
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Admiral Blue
Height: 5' 9" (176 cm)
Notable Traits: He has tan skin. He has a hunky build. He typically wears denim jeans and boots; he'll sometimes don a cowboy hat. He's also known to wear a custom belt buckle. He has a strong deep voice.

Personality: Charming and Confident. Having grown up among frontiersmen, his life in the past has been wild. He tends to act on his own, usually with an upright mindset. He'll throw himself into danger if it means helping a friend or a family member. Of course, his recklessness has given him a fair amount of trouble. He'll owe up to his behavior, however, he can be stubborn if his actions are justified in his opinion. Though he has mellowed for the better since then, he still acts and speaks carelessly without learning from his mistakes. Lucky for him, his Southern charm gives him some leeway for leniency, although his corny lines are something to be desired. Whenever he's not flirting with cute ladies, he's hanging with the boys, going out in the woods, and having a beer around a campfire. Overall, he's the stereotypical country boy who likes to sing about God, trucks, and his exes while strumming his guitar.
Trivia:
+ Davy Crockett was an older peer he admired and looked up to. Tennessee adopted his surname before the "King of the Wild Frontier" left the United States to become a volunteer in the Texas Revolution.
+ During the Civil War era, Tennessee was split on his loyalties, initially seceding to join the Confederates according to the popular vote of his people. Upon getting captured by Union forces, he was compelled to accept a deal in which he would cooperate and be made an example of reprieve for the seceded states. Being the first among the Confederate states to be readmitted to the Union, he received a lot of flack from many Southerners, alienating him in a bitter sense.
+ In the aftermath of the Civil War, he befriended a group of Confederate war veterans. They formed a club and did fun stuff to distract themselves from the disillusions of Reconstruction. But by the time Tennessee left their group, the club had gradually grown to become the first formation of the Ku Klux Klan.
+ In the 1950s, he was into the Greaser subculture. In that period, he sported a pompadour.
+ He claims Texas is one of his ex-girlfriends, however, Texas denies having ever dated him, nor does she like him calling her an ex. They still get along as friends despite some disagreements.
