Chapter 5
I went and got another coffee for myself and Ludwig, insisting that I pay for both ("I'm Ludwig and your Ludwig, so I will pay for both of us as one big Ludwig!" I had told him. He looked at me confused). When I came back with the drinks he smirked, then dropped something into my coat pocket. I pulled it out to find £3.40 (for his drink); so I grabbed his hand, forced open his palm with a surprising amount of strength, dropped the coins in, and closed it again.
"My treat, that's final." I stated, finger in the air as if I was a professor.
"But you paid last night as well..." Ludwig complained.
"That was also my treat." I said, then looked over at him. "Buy me something later if you really feel bad."
"Later?" Ludwig asked.
"Yes." I laughed. "Get in loser, we're going shopping!" And with that, I jumped off the barstool and walked out of the door, beckoning for him to follow.

I walked with Ludwig for a while, until we reached a bustop. When the bus came, I payed fir myself and Ludwig (which he wasn't too happy about) then pulled him to the back of the bus and sat down.
"Where are we going?" He asked, laughing a little. "You just sort of dragged me here."
"Meadowhall, it's a shopping center, and you're gonna buy me one thing so you can be out of debt." I replied happily, pulling out my phone.
"You're like a loan shark, you know. But one from an 80's Miami Tarrentino movie that pesters you and hunts you down." Ludwig laughed a little.
I giggled. "Thank you!"
"It wasn't nesicarily a compliment..."
"Neither was Katniss' words to Peeta but they ended up together in the end." I shot back jokingly.
"...What?" A bewildered Ludwig said.
"The Hunger Games, Ludwig! Do you live under a rock?" I laughed.
"No, it's just that you sounded angry."
"Well, I should be! Peeta was a lie from the start and she never loved him, but in the end they end up married with kids? It's horrible."
"You're team Gale then?" Ludwig laughed.
"I'm team 'Katniss is a strong indipendent woman who don't need no man." I said proudly.
"Not gonna lie, I was team Peeta." Ludwig mumbled.
"I don't think we can be friends anymore." I laughed jokingly.
Eventually, we reached our destination. I hopped up from my seat and grabbed my handbag, cheering a 'gracie' to the driver and jumping off the bus, pulling Ludwig along beside me.
"Shopping time!" I cheered happily, linking arms with Ludwig and pulling him through the crowd. We had spent a lot of time in Starbucks, so it was already around 10:00am.
When we entered the building, I immediatley went into shopping mode, visiting every shop I wanted, buying WAY more than intended. By the time an hour had passed, I was already laden with bags, and we had barely even gone into five shops yet.
"Everything you wear is so simple. It's almost militarian, you know? Ooo, let me buy you an outfit!" And before he could retaliate I had already pulled him into Urban Outfitters.
"Feli, don't you dare buy me anything else." Ludwig groaned, but I was already pulling him through the shop, ignoring his statement.
I looked all over the shop, pulling out clothes from racks and holding them in front of him while he stood, waiting. Eventually, I had picked out a whole outfit for him, and I pushed us towards the men's changing rooms. The guy managing them gave us a smile and a tag, then watched, confused, as I dragged Ludwig to a stall energetically.
"Try them on then show me!" I called, closing the curtain behind him.
I heard an exasperated sigh, the the general sounds of him getting changed. My mind drifted places, of clothes sliding over toned muscles, and sky blue eyes darkening as the sweat dripped from his bare, strong form...
I blushed darkly, then mentally slapped myself. What was I thinking? You're in public, Feliciano! Pull it together. Suddenly, Ludwig stepped out of the stall, dressed in the clothes, sarcastically doing jazz hands as if to say 'ta da'. I put my hand on my chin, as if I were stroking it thoughtfully.
He looked fantastic, actually sporting accesories for once, there was just one thing missing.
"Wait there!" I called, rushing out into the shop and searching. Eventually, I found what I needed, then walked back into the changing rooms, calling a 'sorry' to the manager.
When I reached Ludwig, I had to stand on my tip-toes to place the hat on his head. I almost saw him looking smug, but then I shot him a death glare that I'd learned from Lovi. He shut up immediatley. Stepping back once again, I judged the outfit.
I had picked out a pair of black skinny jeans, a white button-up shirt, a black waist-coat with black converse, and also to top it off, an 'Olly Murs' type hat.
"Hmm..." I muttered, taking one more look up and down. "You look hot."
"I...uhh... thanks?" Ludwig said, a little awkwardly.
"Glasses." A voice said behind me. I turned around, to see the changing rooms guy standing there. "Can I borrow these?" He asked, sliding my glasses off and placing them on Ludwig.
"Oh, wow! That looks amazing! Thanks!" I squealed.
The guy shrugged. "No problem."
I looked down at his name tag, which read 'Arthur'. I gasped.
"I knew I'd seen you before!" I exclaimed.
"Oh God, where?" He sighed.
"Nothing personal! You were in Starbucks earlier." I thought back to him, flipping off the American barista.
"Oh, yeah. Typical Al was there. And here I thought I wouldn't have to see him today." Arthur muttered.
"Awww, do you not like him?" I laughed.
"It's not that I don't like him..."
"It's that you do?" I interupted.
"Mmmm... debatable." The Brit laughed.
I giggled, saw Ludwig had got changed back into his normal clothes. I picked up the outfit I had picked and the changing room tag.
"Were they good for you?" Arthur asked, walking back over to his station.
"Yesiree!" I laughed, handing him the tag.
"Take care, Feli."
"You too! Wait, did I ever tell you my name?" I questioned.
"I know Lovino." Arthur explained. "He never shuts up about you."
"Awww! I'll tell him you said that." I joked.
"Do you want me dead? He'd probs castrate me or something."
"Okay, I wont tell him." I said. "Ciao!" I called, waving goodbye.
He replied with a sort of salute-wave, two fingers and a singular flick of the wrist. I smiled, then linked arms with Ludwig.
"You're not allowed to buy that for me." Ludwig said, but I had already reached the checkout, laying both his outfit on the counter and what I was buying. "Feliciano, don't."
I turned around and grinned at him. "Why? Scared you'll be in more debt, Luddy?" I exagerated a mock Miami accent.
"That'll be two-hundred and five pounds please." The cashier said.
I grabbed my wallet and pulled out my card, sliding it into the machine and typing in my pin. Ludwig sighed behind me. "Thanks."
"Don't thank me! Well, thank me for making you look good but not for paying because it's my treat." I whined, thanking the cashier as I took the bags.
"Everything since I've met you has been a treat!" He trew his hands in the air, exasperated.
"Fine, fine, okay. We're going to Gobstoppers and you're gonna pay for everything." I laughed, dragging him into the colourful candy shop.
"Yeah, well you can't pend that much on sweets, Feliciano." Ludwig laughed.
"You'd be surprised." I retaliated.
