America was wanting to take a trip to Europe mainly to go and bother his friend Britain, of course he wanted an excuse so that he wouldn't seem suspicious to Britain, so he had to bring me along. I sighed, my head resting in my hand as I looked out the plane window, the year was 2005, I couldn't even remember how many years it had been since I came to be. "Hey Bama! Bama! Cheer up! It will be fun to mess with Britain, plus we haven't seen him in forever!" America said with his usually goofy grin and energetic attitude. Yep that's me, Bama as America calls me, but other people know me as Alabama, one of 50 states in America."Yeah and? Why did I have to come? I have better things to do than go to Europe. Especially to mess with Britain...I'm not you. I am merely apart of you." I said unhappily. Why couldn't he bring Texas? Or even California? I thought to myself. Normally I would be really happy to go on these sorts of trips but ever since I broke up with Tennessee, I wasn't so happy. America just smirked then he wrapped his arms around me laughing and tickling me. I started laughing, "A-America! S-Stop it! I'm serious!" I said trying not to laugh anymore. "America stopped smiling widely, "That's what I wanted to see! A Smile!" He chuckled, "Forget about Tennessee and take this time to enjoy yourself!" I still had a smile on my face wiping away my tears from laughing so much. "Y-Yeah...I guess you're right." America stood up in his seat placing his fist on his chest smiling "Of course I'm right! I am always right!" He said bragging about himself again. "Sir, please sit down." One of the attendants said sternly to Him. He rub the back of his had laughing nervously. "Sorry." He said then sat back down. "America, you are such a trouble maker. How have you lasted all these years?" I asked sighing. "Hey I can be serious and smart when I want to be." He said glancing at me. "Right. Ok." I said and looked back out of the window. We had at least six more hours of this flight left until we reached London, it was already six in the evening, the time had passed by quicker than I thought it would. When I looked beside me to see what America was doing, he was stuffing his face with hamburgers, before I could say anything he had already eaten about forty-five of them. "Hey, don't you ever get tired of eating hamburgers all the time?" I asked him. He just looked at me, "No way dude! I love hamburgers!" I sighed. "I know that but still, don't you ever get sick of eating them?" I asked. He just shook his head. "No, not really." He said. I looked back out the window, it was already dark outside and all you could see was the lights of all of the different cities. About an hour later I looked over my shoulder feeling a bit of weight on it and noticed America had fallen asleep, his head rested on my shoulder I just sighed with a soft smile and laid back to sleep a bit before we landed. Three hours passed and the pilot said that we had finally landed over the inner com, I woke up America and gathered our things but when we had finally walked out of the airport all we could see was water and buildings on top of the water. I turned and glared at America "America..Did you buy the wrong tickets? Because we aren't in London." He laughed nervously after looking at the tickets, "Well I think that's because we are in Venice Italy." I took in a deep breath before I could gather enough anger to yell at him. "So now what?" I asked calmly but still agitated, "Well we check things out!" He said grabbing his things and walking around the town. "What? U-Uh hey wait for me!" I yelled grabbing my suitcase chasing after him. He was already about fifteen steps in front of me by the time I was finally able to say something. "Slow down already! We can't looking around the city when it's two O'clock in the morning!" I said grabbing his hand to hold him where he was standing. "We should find a place to stay for the night, then we can look around tomorrow." I said. He looked at me, "Ok you're right. To a hotel!!" He yelled happily dragging both me and my things without having any idea where he was going. "America...There's one over there." I said pointing right beside us. There was a rather nice looking Inn there, "Oh hey look at that!" He exclaimed. I stood up dusting myself off and pushing my small skirt down a bit. I grabbed my things and followed America who had apparently already walked inside the Inn. "Ugh..he is going to end up killing me before this trip even ends." I said to myself before walking through the doors seeing America talking to the Innkeeper. He turned around once I walked in, "Hey they have a free room. We can stay here." He said smiling. "Ok" I said. The Innkeeper gave America a key and we both grabbed our things then walked up to the room. Once we got into the room, I plopped down onto a bed in one of the rooms. "So tired.." I said. "Well See ya when it's daylight!" America said happily. Where does he get all that energy, I thought to myself before knocking off my white boots and then curling up under the covers falling asleep almost immediately. A couple of hours later America burst into my room, "Hey Bama! Wake up!! It's morning!!!" He exclaimed. I lifted my head looking at the clock, I had only got to sleep for at least five hours, maybe not even that. I laid my head back down onto the pillow. "It's only seven thirty...It's too early to get up.." I said not really fully awake. "Alright well I'm gonna go look around then! If your not in St. Mark's Square within four more hours I'm going to leave you here and go to England." He said before walking out the door. "Plan working, now to leave to England and leave her here." He said to himself, He grabbed his things and left towards the airport leaving a map marking where they were supposed to meet. Two hours passed when I finally woke up, I got up from the bed, took a short shower and got ready packing my things back into my suitcase. I walked down the stairs with my things and the map and out the door into the Venice streets. I walked down the different streets not really knowing where I was going even with the map, it didn't help at all since it was all in Italian, I asked for directions a few times but once I got to St. Mark's Square I didn't see America anywhere.  "Ok where is he? He said he would be here..." I said to myself placing a hand on my hip then I took out my cell phone and texted him. He never replied, I finally decided to just look around town until he contacted me. Of course hours passed and still no text or call from him, this just agitated me, I decided to take out my camera and enjoy myself while I was here since I was alone. I took pictures of everything, buildings, people, shops, clothes, you name it. I was at a small market in the middle of town before turning around and seeing three people, they looked at least two or three years older than me, and they didn't look like tourists or townspeople. One had blonde hair and was wearing a military outfit, the other had black hair and no emotion on his face that I could tell and the last one had red hair and was wearing a blue outfit, he had a funny look on his face. They looked odd but I thought it was a bit funny so I lifted up my camera and snapped a quick picture of them. The blonde-headed man looked straight at me then before I knew it he was standing right in front of me, glaring at me. "Vhat do you think you're doing?" He asked with a serious tone, His accent was weird, not Italian but maybe German. The other two followed and stood behind him, watching. "O-Oh I was just um..taking some pictures, I have never been here before so I have been taking pics of nearly all of the people here." I answered him a bit nervously. The man just glared at me, the red headed one walked up and stood beside the blonde and told him, "Hey Germany, you don't have to be so serious about her, she's only a tourists." The blonde sighed and turned around, "Alright fine, carry on vith your business." He said walking away. The red head then looked at me, "Ciao! Sorry about Germany, he's really nice once ya get to know him." the red-head smiled. "Oh that's alright, you said his name was Germany?" I asked. He nodded "Yep and I'ma Italy, nice to meet ya!" He said with a goofy smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you Italy, I'm Alabama, but America calls me Bama." I said with a laugh. "Oh You know America?" He asked. I smiled, "Yeah, I am apart of him I guess you could say. There are forty-nine more like me." I said. There was something about this Italy guy that I couldn't quite put my finger on but he made me feel happy, he was nice and funny. "Oh wow that's alot." He said then turned around to see the two guys that were with him walking away. "Eh!? G-Germany! Wait for me!!" He said running off to catch up with them, he turned around and waved at me once he had caught up with them. "Bye Bama!!" He yelled with that goofy grin of his. I waved back with a giggle, he was a strange guy, but I thought maybe we could become friends, he was really nice. I decided to walk around town more, trying a bit of the cuisine, it wasn't what I would normally eat back home but it was good. I finally grew tired of walking around, plus it was getting late so I sat on the nearest bench and stared at the sunset over the canals. "This place is very pretty." I said to myself. After a few minutes I felt my phone vibrate then play a tune, the same tune I had set for America's ID tone. I looked at the screen and read his text.

"Hey! I was txting u 2 let u know that I'm here in England and left without u since I figured u needed time to urself. Have a great time in Venice. Laterz!

-America"

I just stared at the phone agitated. "Tch, damnit America..You are going to pay for this." I said to myself angerily. "Going to pay for what?" A voice said coming from behind me. I jumped startled from the sudden question and turned around to see Italy. "I-Italy! Where did you come from?!" I shrieked. I placed my hand over my chest."O-Oh are you ok?" He asked with a bit of a panick in his voice.  "Don't scare me like that..you might kill me." I sighed then stood straight up from flying off the bench. "I'm fine, so what brings you to my presence again?" I asked with a giggle. "He laughed nervously, "I wanted to see what you were up to." He said. "Oh? Well I'm not really up to anything. So where are your friends?" I asked. "They're at Germany's house." He said then noticed my suitcase I had been dragging all day. "Why are you dragging that luggage around? Don't you have a place to stay while you're here?" He asked. I looked down at my suitcase then panicked a bit. "O-Oh yeah! I mean well I can find a cheap place don't worry about it." I said laughing nervously, that was a total lie, I didn't have enough money to pay for a cheap hotel mainly because all of them I saw were expensive, I only had enough to eat, since America decided to take half of what I had. "Are you sure? I'ma sure that Germany wouldn't mind if you stayed with me and him at his place for a while." He said happily. "No you really don't have to do that. Like I said I can find a plac-" I was cut off when he grabbed my arm pulling both me and my suitcase along with him. "Nonsense! You shall stay with me and Germany!" He said with a smile. "U-Um..O-Ok." I stuttered nervously. The Germany guy didn't seem to fond of me so I really didn't think the next few days are going to be so great, then again I could be wrong. Italy opened up the door to Germany's house without knocking, "Hey Germany, we have a guest for the next few days!" He yelled coming through the door still pulling me behind. "Vhat do you mean ve have guest Italy?" Germany said turning around. "My friend doesn't have a place to say so I said she could stay with us!" Italy said. Germany looked straight at me after Italy spoke, it looked as if he was glaring at me. "Italy vhat made you think I vould agree for her to shtay?" Germany said placing a hand over his face sighing. "I don't know, I just wanted to help my friend Bama." Italy said frowning. "Bama?" He asked looking at Italy. "Yeah that's her name, right Bama?" Italy said looking at me with a smile. "Um... Yeah, Alabama, but America calls me Bama, so that's what everyone calls me now." I said. "But I was going to find a cheap hotel or something, that was until Italy grabbed me and dragged me all the way here." I said laughing nervously. Germany sighed. "Well, I do have a shpare room, sho you can shtay here for a vhile. No longer than a veek." He said turning around and walking away to what looked like a study. "Um ok, thanks." I said then looked up at Italy. "Hey you can let go of my arm now." He looked at my arm then let go, he had pulled me all the way here so it wasn't surprising that I had a large red mark on my arm. "I'll show you where the spare room is! Follow me!" Italy said happily and walked down a hallway, I grabbed my suitcase and followed him.
