Meeting the Axis Power Countries...and a Couple Other Capitals
Berlin: "Hello-?"
(male Rome): "Ah!!! It's a female Germany!"
(male Tokyo): "Italy-san, you don't just say that to random people."
(male Berlin): "U-um...might you be...Rome...?"
Berlin: "...Who is he?"
Rome: "Hey, Mr. Funny Angry Face!"
(male Rome): "Rome! Hey, Germany! Germany! This is the girl from before!"
Germany: "...Is that so...? Well, a pleasure to meet you, I am Germany. Are you quite alright?"
Rome: "Huh? Oh, yeah! You came and saved me after all!"
Germany: "Well, I didn't necessarily 'save' you..."
Berlin: "...What happened? Did you get into trouble?"
(male Tokyo): "She fell out of a tree and Germany-san just happened to be underneath when that occurred."
Berlin: "Really..."
Tokyo: "Interesting, enough, the man with a curl says 'Germany' twice with that twinkle like Rome does when calling out to you."
Berlin: "That isn't something you needed to mention."
Rome: "Italy! These are my friends that I was talking about!"
Italy: "Wow~! She does look like Germany and Japan! Hey! Could it be possible that...?!"
Rome: "Yeah, yeah! Ve, ve~!"
Berlin: "R-Rome...what is going on...?"
Rome: "Oh, yes! Let us explain~!"
Italy: "Yay~! Okay, my name is Italy! These are my friends! This grumpy blonde is Germany and this cool katana guy's name is Japan!"
Tokyo: "...'Japan'?"
Berlin: "'Germany'!?"
Rome: "Italy!"
Berlin: "This is no time to be playful! These are New World COUNTRIES!!!"
Rome: "Yeah! Aren't they cheesy~?"
Berlin: "ROME!!!"
Japan: "I am seeing the resemblance..."
Germany: *a-HEM*
(all): *silent*
Germany: "May we come in...?"
Tokyo: "Oh, forgive our manners. Berlin-chan?"
Berlin: "Yes, you can come in. This way, please."
Berlin ushers the three countries into the grand living room, a couple corridors away from the chaotic boardroom. After sitting down, Berlin addresses them to the countries.
Berlin: "Sorry not to give a proper introduction."
Germany: "Oh, that is okay. You did nothing wrong."
Berlin: "But we wished that we knew about countries coming to the HQ. This hasn't happened before in the past..."
Italy: "Yeah! We had only recently heard about these capitals from this mysterious letter! America suggested it!"
Rome: "America?! You know America?!"
Italy: "Ooh! I've always wanted to ask! Who's the capital of America~?"
Tokyo: "That would be the District of Colombia, Italy-kun. She is commonly called DC or Color."
Italy: "Ah, what a colorful name~!"
Germany/Berlin: "No kidding..."
Tokyo: "Oh, I think that is DC-chan, is she not?"
Tokyo points to a nearby woman, with long, flowing, golden blonde pigtails. She was wearing a red and navy blue-accented clothing and has little, cherry-colored maple leaf barrettes on the sides of her hair. She was clutching a small white bear to her chest. She slowly turns around with a small, awkward, apologetic smile on her face. She pushes up her glasses and adjusts her hold on her bear.
Ottawa: "I-I'm sorry, Tokyo, but...I'm not DC..."
Rome: "Ah! It's Ottawa!"
Germany/Italy/Japan: "...'Ottawa'?"
Japan: "...Forgive us, but we don't know any country with the capital called...um..."
Rome: "Oh, that's okay! Hey, Ottawa! Ottawa! Come over here and let's have a little get-together!"
Ottawa: "U-Um...s-sorry, but...London just sent me to...see where you guys are..."
Rome: "That's okay! Look, look! These guys are New World Count-"
Berlin: "ROME!!!"
Ottawa: "...What...?! Countries...??? They're...countries...?!"
Ottawa starts shaking where she stood. Berlin's memory of Ottawa was, for some reason, hazy, but she had a strong feeling of what she might do, considering how shy she was just seeing normal capitals like her. Tokyo saw this as well.
Tokyo: "Ottawa-chan, do you need help being escorted down back to the boardroom...?"
Ottawa: "U-Um-"
???: "Oh, are we interrupting something? Owatta!!!"
Germany: "Wha-!? There's two Ottawa's!?"
Rome: "Oh, no, silly! That's her country's older brother's capital! So that means she's her older sister, too! That's DC~!"
DC: "What did you guys do!? She's a shaking maple leaf! You Power Capitals had BETTER not be the reason-!!!"
Berlin: "Calm down, DC, she just didn't expect about our guests here..."
DC: "Guests? Oh, YEAH!!! I didn't get to say what I was gonna back at the meeting! Argh! You guys came in too EARLY! I thought that was tomorrow!"
Germany: "...Excuse me? You knew we were coming?"
DC: "Drat, I thought there was more. I really wanted to see London's face when she saw-OH!!! AW! I should've to see Berlin's face!"
DC raked her hands through her pixie, golden blonde hair. With her pleated mini-skirt and her overall attire, the countries wished she wasn't so...exposed and free-spirited. Like a certain country that they knew.
Japan: "Excuse us, DC...-chan. We only had figured on your existence. You and your capitals. How long did you know about us countries?"
DC: "You serious, dude!? Didn't you hear Ottawa!? She's scared to pieces because she knew YOU guys were countries! We all know about your countries and what you big-heads had been doing. But we've never seen your guys in PERSON. Say! What's America like!?"
Germany: "Wait, I'm confused. This capital...Rome isn't it...she said that Ottawa was only your little sister because she's the capital of...what was it?"
Italy: "Canada, right~?"
Ottawa: "...yes..."
Germany: "Uh, yes, Canada. So...can I assume that you are direct siblings to the country that you are the capital of?"
DC: "Uh, no, dude, you don't get it. All I said is that we knew you people beforehand. That's all."
There was clacking from down the hallway. In the countries' horror, they had a pretty good idea which country she was the capital of. She wore a long, fluffy, big, beige colored coat, with a slightly lilac-tinted scarf. Her bright, pearly blond hair was just as long as flowing, with a small puffy hat. But what the countries were really looking at was the large, heavy-looking shovel that she carried daintily in her hands.
Rome: "Ah~! Moscow! Moscow! Hey, me, Berlin and Japan's countries!"
Moscow: "...Countries? Could this be the surprise you were talking about, DC?"
DC: "U-Uh...yeah..."
(countries): "......"
(countries): (...there's a female Russia. Moscow...no...)
Rome: "Hey, Moscow! What's your country like~?"
Moscow: "If you are talking about my country, Russia, then I'm not so sure. I have not met him."
Germany: (...she hasn't? They haven't?)
Rome: "Hey, Italy! Italy~! This is the capital of Russia and (wink, wink) the 'Queen of the Soviet House'!"
Moscow: "Please, don't. But I thank you for the compliment, Rome."
Japan: "S-So...you're...you're..."
Berlin: "Y-Yes, don't pay any mind to it-"
Moscow: "'It'?"
Everyone, except Rome, swore that the temperature had dropped a couple degrees. The countries and the four other capitals imagined a creepy, foggy, dark purple aura float eerily around her. Her bangs shadowing her face, making her small attempt at a smile seem like a taunt saying 'I will hang you'.
Berlin: "A-Ah, um, I had meant..."
Rome: "Something along the lines of-oh! You must know Moscow's older brother!"
Moscow: "Oh...so you're worried about comparing me to him? Ah, I'm pretty sure he's doing much better than me."
Germany: "Y-You...you have no idea..."
Ottawa: "U-Um...s-so..."
(all): "...."
But what was scarier that none of them was sensing was that lingering behind Moscow, watching, was a male capital don in a deep blue, puffy sleeved coat with a white vest that had a rounded trim around the edges. His hair was a little long so there was wide, white bow hanging there. Clawing his black-gloved hands into the wall he was spying behind, he glared at them with every ounce of dark that Moscow was emitting. But no one seemed to notice it was him.
Moscow: "So what is it that countries, like you, are here for?"
Italy: "Oh, right! We just wanted to know that our bosses are allowing you capitals to meet your countries!"
Germany: "This, indeed, is a fair surprise that you knew about us beforehand. We can't have a grand meeting of each other, sadly. But all of the countries invite each of you to come to the manor or your country's house to meet them at last."
Ottawa: "R-Really...? B-But...I don't know if he'll..."
Moscow: "...."
Germany saw that Ottawa and Moscow shared the same slightly distraught face. He caught himself feeling that they might be thinking that they won't be accepted by their countries. By the sounds of it, Ottawa must know that she fades pretty well into the background. But surprisingly enough, DC seems to be very aware of her presence, as if she clings to it and is highly protective of Ottawa, but still, maintains a sense of 'American'. Moscow. One capital that Germany, at first, was terrified to get anywhere near. But she seems painfully aware that her presence terrifies people. Though, he can see that she hasn't done anything necessarily bad. Though he wonders if she and the Baltic capitals got along like DC and Ottawa.
Germany: (...maybe not. If her aura is just as terrifying as Russia's then it must be to the Baltic capitals as well. Hm, I wonder what they're like, as well...)
Italy: "Well, we just hang by just to tell you all! Hey, Roma, come by sometimes okay?!"
Rome: "Yeah, Ita!"
(all but the Italians): (...'Roma'? ...'Ita'...?)
Berlin: "Well...we'll see you around."
Germany: "Yes..."
Japan: "I can't wait for you to come over, Tokyo-chan."
Tokyo: "Likewise, Japan-kun."
Italy/Rome: "See you there~!"
DC: "Huh, I'm gonna have to see this America guy!"
Ottawa: "...Yeah."
Moscow: "Mm, I'm not so sure..."
Everyone nods to each other and the countries see each other out. The capitals go back to the boardroom and told the rest everything. And boy, did the place blow up.
