I can see that some of you are kinda confused about 'Rise Up'.

I didn't put any notes in it to make the story sink in and I didn't wanna ruin a good 3000-word count. 

Basically, the narrator of 'Rise Up' is DC, it's a girl, people.

She's describing what she did before she was a capital and how she assisted in the American Revolution, even though she wasn't a capital back then.

Like most people know, the American Revolution happened in 1776.

Washington DC became a capital in 1790, roughly 24 years afterward.

In the update 'Homeward Bound', England claims to have seen DC in America's army, fighting alongside him. But how could she if the capital didn't exist until two decades later? DC was alive, but her name wasn't 'Washington District of Columbia', it was 'Hamilton'.

She had to make a decision if she wanted to stay Alexander Hamilton's Praedectatori (definition for Praedectatori in 'Rise Up' and 'Homeward Bound') or become a Personified (definition for Personified is found in the same place as Praedectatori).

Look up Alexander Hamilton and you will find stuff more than boring history, you will have rap and roasting.

Oh, and BTW, when DC says that Alexander is 'wickedly smitten', she means that he's curl-deep in love, and by 'curl-deep' I mean like Italy's-curl deep.
