You see this with Mackquelliegha (Mikaela) and Ashleigh/Bayleigh/any name ending with -leigh instead of ly or ley. Now normally you only see it with people. But apparently, it goes to dogs too. 

Now I don't know if I've talked about one of these dogs in here before but I'm doing it again. 

At work there is a dog whose name is pronounced Zoey. Now, you'd think that you'd spell it Zoey or maybe Zoe. But no. No. These people have to give their dog a unique, basic name and make it impossible for us to know the name of their fucking dog. Because, believe it or not, the dogs actually can't tell us their names. Because, believe or not, they don't speak and have never spoken. So when go up to a dog and look at their name tag, I wanna see something I can read and easily pronounce. Zeauxoui is neither of their things. 

That's right.

I hate it here so much. JUST SPELL IT ZOEY!!!

Like I could figure it out because we have dogs called Beaux (Bo), so I know that -eaux is just the letter o. And Oui is literally just a basic French word but still. Why would you do that to your dog and to us. 

And honestly, I had kinda forgotten about Zeauxoui until today when I met a dog who I'm pretty sure is called Louis. Now I'm not 100%, but he seemed to respond when I called him that. So I'm assuming his name is pronounced Louis. 

It ain't spelled like that of course. But that's his name. 

Now, lemme ask a moment: how would you spell Louis? Would you do the French way like I am of Louis? Would you do Louie? How about Lewey or Lewie? Well, his owners took none of those options and instead went with, and I shit you fucking not, Lixue.

I don't even know how the fuck I figured out it was Louis. I couldn't tell you what my brain went through to figure it out, other than: "I bet his name is real fucking normal like Zeauxoui's." So I called him Louis and his little ears perked up and he walked to me. So yeah. 

Anyway to Zeauxoui and Lixue's parents: uhm, I hate you and why are you torturing your dogs like this? I need to know what was going through your minds when you spelled Zoey and Louis like that. 

Edit: They are not siblings. It is two separate pair of parents that did this to their dogs.
