Prologue: a metal hero

----3rd person's pov----

It's been a lively night in the city. Traffic is still seen and heard through the streets, and people were still out late working or just spending the night as wildly as possible.

Especially now when there's a giant beast roaming through the city and destroying the surrounding buildings.

Evidently, the voices of the people went from joyful and lively, to being horrified and in panic.

Just as the beast began to destroy a skyscraper next to it, a bolt of energy pierced it's face, and it screamed in agony. Soon enough, more energy bolts were piercing it's body repeatedly, and it saw it's attacker. Further inspection shows that it's seems to be a man in a suit of armor that's hovering above it.

"Soooo.... I'm guessing that you did.... " he motions to all the destruction behind him and in front of him. ".... all of this, right?"

The beast began to roar and charge at the man, until it was hit by missiles that came from the shoulder mounts from the armor. As they began to go back in storage, the man simple crossed his arms, and tilted his head.

"I'm sorry, what was that? I couldn't understand, it seemed like you were interrupted.... do you mind repeating?" He said in an amused tone. The beast swung it's arms at him, only to hit the street beneath it, as the armored fighter was now atop it's head and began to fire directly in the center.

"Alright, enough of this." He fired a large energy beam from his chest core, and kept firing until the beast stopped moving.

Afterwards, he hovered down to check the creature, and caught the attention of several bystanders.

"Who is that?"

"Is it a robot?"

"It took that thing down in a minute, holy crap!"

"Is it a good guy?"

He turned around and saw who said that, which was a young boy, reaching about to his hip. Walking over to him, he knelt down and held his hand out.

The boy rushed behind the nearest adult, and peeked from behind, only to see the man holding out his hand to shake.

"Yeah, kid. I'm a good guy."

The boy slowly walked up and took his hand, and the man stood up and ruffled the kid's hair.

"More like.... a super hero."

Soon after, the armored man stepped back, and began to hover, before he waved goodbye and rocketed away from the sight.

Just as everyone was leaving the sight by order of the authorities, the armored hero didn't realize that he caught the attention of a few people, who happened to be around for the show.

"Hmm.... rias will want to hear about this... " A raven haired beauty with a long ponytail saw the man fly away, and soon left without letting any attention directed to her.

"Wow! That was so COOL! with the lasers, and missles! OH, AND THE BOOT JETS!"

"Ruby, keep it down!" A young blonde said to the red hooded girl. All the while, a very pale skinned beauty looked interested in the suit the man used.

"Do you think ozpin will want to know about this?" An amber eyed girl asked quietly.

"I'm sure, blake. Let's go home and tell him the news." The pale girl said as they left the area, more or less the same as the previous girl.

It seems that the world is about to learn about the new hero, who simply calls himself...
