Ashley's POV

I wake up and see the sun has gone down meaning it's time for my daily patrol. You see I'm not like Selina, I save people, I've never hurt anyone who's innocent and I spend more time doing good than bad. Every night I go out and patrol the street kid hangouts and warehouses to make sure all the kids are safe.

I do this because when I was younger and before Selina found me street life wasn't easy. Everynight I'd be scared to fall asleep incase I woke up in the back of a van or worse, didn't wake up at all. It's why I protect the kids, they know they aren't 100% safe but they know they can at least sleep at night and be safe.

Still there are many kids who get kidnapped and snatched off the streets but those kids sleep in boxes and not in abandoned places, those are the kids who won't survive, those kids wouldn't make it in the long term anyway.

I put on my black suit, combat boots, makeup and utility belt then leave and go outside to start my patrol. I walk a few blocks looking for any trouble and notice there isn't any tonight and it's infact way more quiet than usual.

I quickly change my mind once I hear a scream and I run towards it then stop in my tracks when I see Robin looking at me with a phone in his hand playing a video of a lady screaming. How did they find me?

I step back slightly scared then bump into someone and my eyes widen. I jump out the way and throw a smoke bomb on the ground and run into the shadows before I can be grabbed and I begin the chase.

They found me. Did Selina tell them about me? Why? I snap out my thoughts one a bomb lands next to me and I jump out the way before it can explode. They're following me.

I continue running for a few more blocks and I nearly loose them but my head throbs and my vision spins making me stop running and lean against a wall. I hold my head groaning and I don't even notice the dynamic duo run around the corner and find me.

"Batman what's wrong with her?" Robin asks concerned and Batman walks up to me and narrows his eyes looking at me, "She's dehydrated and starving." He says before looking at Robin, "I'm getting the Batmobile, watch her." He commands before disappearing out of the alley.

I'm left with Robin who bends down to my level and looks at me, "when was the last time you ate or drank?" He asks.

"A few days ago?" I say more of a question to myself. I can't even remember most of what happens to me, I barely even remember yesterday, I was tired yesterday, I'm tired now.

He nods, "did you your meal to a younger kid?" He asks and I close my eyes and sigh annoyed. Selina.

"What did she tell you?" I ask getting a wave of dizziness and the Batmobile drives beside the alley and Robin picks me up and I try to escape him but I'm too weak.

"We can talk about it tomorrow and stop fighting, it'll only make you weaker." He says but I don't listen and it's only when I'm in the Batmobile I feel weaker and I pass out.
