This story was inspired by the series called Heroes, which my Daddy introduced me to about 2 years ago. The series premiere for Heroes: Reborn had just come out and I was so intrigued by the story line, but very confused since I didn't know what was going on. We were at our very first Comic Con together and it was also our first ever Daddy-daughter trip we took together, so as soon as we came home and caught up on our sleep, we binged watched Heroes on Netflix. I really liked all of the characters and Claire was my favorite in the beginning, but something about Peter Petrelli made me fall in love with character. Since then, I've been wanting to desperately write my own Heroes tale and what do you know? It finally happened. As for Rose's side of the story, the whole assassin thing was greatly inspired by Elektra from Marvel. Hopefully you've all enjoyed the story and I will be writing more fan fiction in the summer months to come called "A Piece of War" that's kinda like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Divergent mashed together. Fun Facts...

- Rose Cassandra Wellington is Hue and John Wellington's relative from my fan fiction, The Princess Night

- Aside from Comic Con, there aren't major holidays in September or anything that makes that month exciting, which is why the lavender envelope raised Rose's curiosity

- Roses are my fav kind of flower

- The Palmer Tech watches from the beginning of the story is what connects Rose to Starling City from my Arrow fan fiction that I will write in the near future

- The hot dog stands in New York are a haha funny thing and also where Stan Lee does quite a few of his cameos, mainly in Spider-Man movies and Lego Marvel specials
