Heroes of Townsville: Chapter 5

(Buttercup's P.O.V.)

Right now the three of us are flying back to the lab. We all landed at the front door. Blossom went to touch the door knob but she stopped. This made Bubbles worried so she asked Blossom what's wrong.

"Oh, it's nothing," Blossom said and put on a smile. We walked to the living room and there we saw Poochie, but no professor.Hmm.

"Hey Poochie!" I said and waved lazilh. Then, the robotic dog jumped into my arms.

"Wow! You have new uniforms!" Poochie said as I placed him back on the ground. Yeah, Poochie and I actually became kinda close even though he's still scared of me, I guess.

"We need to see the professor," Blossom spoke, "Can you call him?".

"Alright," Poochie nodded and ran out of the room to get the professor. We sat on the couch waiting.

"What do you need, girls?" we heard the professor say. We stood up and turned towards him.

"Look professor, we have a new uniform!" Bubbles said twirling around like a little frilly girly girl, ugh!

"Only our jackets changed specifically," I pointed out.

"May I take a look at those?" the professor asked. We nodded and handed him our new white puffy kinda jackets and then... he just looked at it.

"When and where did you get these?" he asked.

"We got those when we were fighting all the villains we fought earlier," Blossom explained.

"Yeah, those so called allies of ours came, and they kind of gave us some power and now we have those jackets instead of our vests," I explained further.

"Would you mind if I run some tests on your jackets?" said professor.

"No, not at all," Bubbles said cheerfully. The professor walked away and gestured us to follow him. We followed him to the examining room. He placed our jackets on the table and used the Z ray thingy to scan our jackets. After scanning our jackets he went to the laptop and typed some stuff. He looked at the screen, then he said something under his breath but we didn't hear it.

"What was that professor?" Blossom asked. The professor sighed and turned to us while smiling.

"I think you girls are ready to meet your allies," he said.

"Really? When?", Bubbles asked excitedly while jumping up and down. The professor chuckled.

"Wait in the living room. I'll tell them that you are ready to meet them, got it?" The professor said.

"Okay, got it!" the three of us said and we walked to the living room. We sat on the couch waiting. Not long after, we heard the professor walk in.

"They will be here in a minute," he said. After a while, we heard footsteps walking down the stairs.

"Oh, they're here."

"The Powerpunk Girls?! No wait no, they're not even real. The Rowdyright Boys?! Wait, they're not real too," Blossom kept on guessing. We all looked at Blossom with an annoyed face, then she laughed nervously.

"Hehe, just practicing," she said while scratching the back of her head. The professor used the Z ray laser thing on us.

"Why do you need to do that again?" I asked while crossing my arms.

"Just in case you try to kill them," he said.

"Why would we-" I stopped mid sentence when I saw three boys about our age standing beside the professor. I think that I met one of them earlier.

"Uhm, who are those boys?", Momoko asked. The first one has red, shoulder length hair wearing a hat backwards. The next one has blonde hair that is parted in the middle. And the last one has raven hair with a tiny ponytail at the back of his head and his chin long side bangs covering his right eye.

"They're the Rowdyruff Boys. They are your allies," the professor said calmly. Ken gave each of us a glass of juice. We drank the juice until we had processed everything the professor just said. Then we spat out our drink finally realizing what he just said.

"Our allies are the Rowdy-" we yelled but our voice slowly bacame faint. What the hell is happening? I feel really sleepy.

"Why do I feel so drowsy?" Miyako asked as she sat down on the floor. I fell to the floor and I heard Momoko did too.

"I knew they would react like this," I heard the professor say.

It was in the juice! I wasn't able to voice out as my eyes slowly closed, then I fell asleep.

(Kaoru's dream) (Kaoru's P.O.V)

I was at the lab with Momoko and Miyako. Miyako was reading a fashion magazine, and Momoko and I were fighting for the remote.

"I want to watch Jhonny Cosmo!" Momoko yelled.

"Well I want to watch the soccer game!" I said. We kept on arguing on who gets the remote until the professor came in.

"Girls, I have some good news for you," he said smiling. Then the mayor barged in with ms. Bellum behind him.

"Did you already tell them?!" the mayor asked.

"N-no, not yet mr. mayor," the professor sweat dropped.

"Tell who what?" Miyako asked.

"From now on, three other people will be living here at the lab with professor Utonium, Ken, and Poochie," miss Bellum said.
"Well, who are they?" Momoko asked curious.

"Poochie, can you get them?" Ken asked Poochie.

"Okay, sure!"Poochie said then ran upstairs. After a minute he came back down with three boys following him.

"They're the Rowdyruff Boys. They will be living here at the lab and they will help you fight crime."

I shot up from the bed and rubbed my eyes.

"What a nightmare. Good thing it wasn't real," I said. Then I noticed that the three of us woke up, all at the same time. I looked up and saw a certain pale green eyed son of a Mojo.

"I spoke too soon," I sighed.
"They call me Brick," the red head said.

"Yo, I'm Boomer," the blonde said.

"And I'm Butch," the one with raven hair said.

"And we're the Rowdyruff Boys Z!" they all said doing their signature pose.

"We know who you are," I growled trying NOT to kill them.

"Ew! Take your fingers out of your noses!" Momoko said in disgust.

"Yeah, yeah," Brick said while rolling his eyes.

"Z? Since when did you decide adding Z? It doesn't really make much difference to be honest," I said.

"When we got hit by white Z rays, duh," Butch said while crossing his arms.

"And you also got new uniforms?" Miyako asked.

"That's right," said Boomer.
"Wait. I thought there were only seven white Z rays," Blossom said trying to remember.

"Yeah, three white Z rays hit us, one hit Poochie," Miyako said.

"And we used the remaining white Z rays to go back in time, and you know, kind of defeat HIM," I said. Then the professor explained.

Flashback (Professor's P.O.V.)

It was one day before school started. I was making a new chemical Z.

"Ken, can you please give me a zuber cake?" I asked. Ken left to get the zuber cake from the fridge. He came back and handed me one zuber cake.

"The final ingredient," I said before dropping the cake into the chemical. The computer recognized the chemical and automatically changed it from chemical X to chemical Z. Ken and I tried to separate the white light force of the chemical from the dark light force.

"Dad, why did you make a new chemical Z?" Ken asked me.

"I think that the girls need help in fighting crime. The villains are becoming stronger. I don't know why, but I think the girls need help," I said.

"Well since there is no natural calamities here in Townsville right now, I suppose you already have a target, right?" Ken asked.

"Nope, still no target," I said while laughing nervously.

"Alright, let's think about this...." Ken said.

"Aha! What if we target someone who is not evil but just bad. We will see if the white Z ray will affect the way they act," I said.

"Who?" Ken asked.

"How about the Rowdyruff Boys?" I said, Ken nodded. We used Poochie to find the Rowdyruff Boys by detecting their auras. Poochie sniffed their auras and said they are walking on the sidewalk near the lab. They were wearing civilian clothing. We spotted them and readied the Z ray cannon. I aimed the cannon at them and I pressed the button. Then three white Z rays hit each of them. When the white Z rays hit them, one big black Z ray came out of them and went in different directions and flew away from the city. I saw that they are back in their uniforms.

"What the!? Where did our uniforms come from?!" I heard Brick shout.

"Shut up idiot! Do you want everyone to notice us? We're just here to find the lab," Butch said as he hit Brick on the back of his head. Boomer tapped the shoulders of his arguing brothers and both of them glared at him.

"What?!"

"Dudes, we're infront of the lab," Boomer said while pointing at me and Ken. We waved back at them awkwardly. Then they walked here at the lab and said that they've decided to become good. After three days, they became stronger. They also became as old as the girls, and they had new uniforms. And they also promised to protect the citizens of New Townsville.

End of flashback

(Kaoru's P.O.V.)

"And that's what happened," the professor said.

"So you boys are good now?" Momoko asked.

"Yeah, we realized that it sucks being all evil and hated by everyone, I guess," Brick said.

"So, do you believe us?" Boomer asked.

"Sure! We believe you," Miyako said.

"But what if this is a trick?" I said.

"Then we should've killed you already, or let the villains kill you," Butch smirked. I glared at him.

"Come on Kaoru, if they try anything to betray us, then we won't stop you from killing them," Momoko said and chuckled.

"Alright, atleast we won't see them at school," I said.

"Well, about that," Ken said. I shot a look at him.  "They will be going to your school starting tomorrow."

"Why must I always speak too soon?" I sighed.

"Since you are going to school, you need a secret identity. Did you already choose your names?" Miyako asked.

"Of course! My name is Miyazaki Akatsuji, nice to meet you!" Boomer said.

"I am Momotaro Akatsuji," Brick said.

"And I am Katsumoto Akatsuji," Butch said. Wait I know I've heard that name somewhere before.

"I'm Katsumoto Akatsuji."

"I'm here to challenge you in skateboarding!"

"You're the one who challenged me in skateboarding at the skate park!" I said while pointing at Butch, or should I say Katsumoto.

"That's right Kaoru~", Butch said and winked.

"Don't act familiar with me!" I said.

"See? You're already getting along!" Poochie chimed. I glared at Poochie. If a glare could kill, I could've killed a hundred people already.

"Alright girls, time to train," the professor said. We went to the back of the lab with the Rowdyruff Boys and transformed there. We noticed that our jackets are the same as their jackets except their jackets are black. Then six robots came there to train us. This time we are training with our weapons.

"Do you have weapons?" Blossom asked the boys.

"Of course we do Pinky," Brick said then they summoned their weapons. Blossom growled.

"Don't call me Pinky!"

"No can do Pinky," Brick said.

"Hmph!"

Brick's weapon is a boomerang, Butch's weapon is a flute, and Boomer's weapon is a baseball bat. Then we started training. We attacked the robots.

"Mega Spinning Yo!"

"Flaming Boomerang!"

"Super Bubble Trouble!"

"Electric Ball!"

"Super Megaton Hammer!"

"Off Key Melody!"

After hours of training we finally destroyed the robots. All of us untransformed. We went in the lab and got our stuff. Miyako, and Momoko already walked outside. When I was about to walk out the door Butch called me.

"Kaoru!"

"What is it Fido?" I said.

"Don't forget our little competition tomorrow, alright?" he said reminding me.

"Why would I? Tomorrow is the day you will know that you shouldn't mess with Kaoru Matsubara," I said then I walked out the door. I saw Momoko and Miyako waiting for me so I ran up to them.

"What took you so long Kaoru?", Miyako asked.

"Just had a short worthless talk with Butch," I said.

"Oh, okay," Momoko said then we started walking home.

"Tomorrow is gonna be a long day," I thought. I sighed and continued walking home.
