Heroes of Townsville: Chapter 21

(Kaoru's P.O.V.)

Ugh, everyone's so cheesy! The couples dance and look at each other with those silly lovey dovey faces, the boys makin' moves on their chicks and all that stuff. Ugh, this night couldn't possibly get any worse!

"Hey there Kaoru babe, it's me, Mitch. Wow, you look hot for once in your life. Wanna dance?"

"Mitch," I growled. Man this guy is annoying.

"Bad Kaoru," he said bopping me on the head. Ooohh, now I'm mad! I was about to get him when...

"What'ya doin' Kao-chan? This your friend?" Katsumoto said putting his arm around my shoulder. Blood slightly crept up my cheeks. Why is this happening to me?!

"Who the hell do you think you are? You her boyfriend?" Mitch said sounding as venomously as possible.

"What if I am, shortstack?" Katsumoto said calmly. Yeah, that's Katsumoto for you. He'll be dissing people without even trying.

"But you're not, are you?" Mitch said being annoying and all.

"Man, this guy is annoying, am I right Kao-chan?" Katsumoto chuckled.

"Ha! You know it," I replied.

"Being annoying won't help you pick up chicks, dude," Katsumoto said smirking.

"My name's not dude! I'm Mitch Mitchelson, captain of NTH men's soccer team," Mitch said proudly. This guy is full of bullcrap.

"Hm, that's strange. I've never seen your face in the field before," Katsumoto said with a confused look.

"Stop it with your crap, Mitch. This guy is the soccer team captain," I said gesturing to Katsumoto.

"W-wait up! You're Katsumoto Akatsuji?! One of the famous Akatsuji brothers?!" Mitch said shocked.

"Famous? When and how did you childish jerks get famous?" I asked surprised.

"We're naturally cool and handsome, what did you expect?" Katsumoto said smirking.

"And acts like a cocky child," I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey, Katsumoto!" Mitch said calling Katsumoto's attention. "Why don't you stop flirting with my Kaoru babe and tell me about how to become a chick magnet why don't ya?"

Does this guy have balls of steel or is he really just that stupid to talk to Katsumoto like that? Yeah, he's just stupid.

"Sure thing," Katsumoto said with his evil smile, "let's take this talk outside."

"Alright!" Mitch fist pumped the air.

I watch as they went out of the all purpose hall to have a little "talk".

(Outside) (Katsumoto's P.O.V.)

"So, you wanna tell me about being a chick magnet?" #%tch or whatever his name is asked.

"Why don't I just give you a little tip?" I said ready to get this talk over with.

"Lay it on me!" #%tch said excitedly.

"Stay away from MY Kaoru ya hear me?" I said as I gave him my deadly glare.

"Wha...?" he said confused.

"I'm gonna make her mine tonight so I don't wanna see ya anytime soon, #%tch!" I said as I got ready to do what I must. "I hope you don't have a nice flight."

I smiled evilly.

"What the heck do you mean? I don't have a fli-
BAM! POW! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *cough**cough* AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......"

I knocked him out to space.

"Bye, #%tch! Wish me luck!" I said as I waved goodbye.

"It's Mitch! MIIITCH!!!"

*TWINKLE*

And with a twinkle, he shall not be remembered and will not be expected to attend Kao-chan and mine's wedding or anyone else's wedding. (A/N: I tried my best to eliminate any of my grammar mistakes in this part but to no avail T_T)

"Now that I got rid of the annoying one, time to get back to the plan," I said while cracking my knuckles.

I turned to go back to the hall when I noticed some weird guys staring.

"Woah! Dude just knocked other dude out into the sky!" the first weird guy said.

"I know right!" the second guy said.

"That was totally awesome!" a third weirdo exclaimed.

"Hi there Katsumoto sir! I am a big big fan of yours and I want to ask you lots of questions," another guy said as he walked in front of me excitedly.

"Woah there tiger, just one question 'cause I'm in a bit of a hurry," I told the guy calmly.

"*inhales deeply* Alright..." he said as he relaxed, "Are you a superhero?"

"Wha...?"

What the heck?! What kind of question is that?! You don't just ask a guy if he's a super hero 'cause that's just... man, you just got to a whole new level of weird.

"Dude! You can't just ask him if he's a super hero," the first guy said. "Villains might overhear and know his secret identity."

What the heck?!

"Alright, weir- I mean dudes, I should really be going back inside, ya know? Can't keep my woman waiting," I finally told them and ran back in the hall as fast as possible.

I got in the hall and saw Kaoru drinking punch. *sigh* oh well, here goes nothing. Time to take the plan into action.

I took a deep breath and walked over to Kaoru.

"Yo, I'm back!" I said as I poked her cheek.

"Stop trying to annoy me again, Katsumoto," she said in an annoyed tone.

"Aw, you don't mean that, right, Kao-chan?" I said and poked her again. "Your cheeks are getting hot, almost as hot as you."

"Shut up, Fiddo," she said as her face became red. She looks really adorable right now.

"Hey Kaoru, wanna go outside for a while?" I asked her.

"Sure, as long as it's away from annoying people," said said stretching her arms.

"Well that's gonna be hard."

We chuckled.

(Outside)

We were outside and saw that there were no people there. Good. The easier the plan gets.

"So, Kaoru, remember the time when we first met you guys? You know, back when we used to call you hags?" I asked her.

"Yeah I do," she said with her eyes closed. "You were so damn annoying back then that I wanted to just personally pop your head right off and smash it with my hammer."

"Wow, really? Was I really that bad?" I chuckled. We sat down on the grass.

"You were the worst."

"And... well... what do you think of me now? Am I still that annoying little boy to you?"

"Well, you are a three-year old technically," she chuckled. "But I guess you matured in a way. The girls and I thought that you guys deciding to become crime fighters was a trick, I especially didn't want to trust you guys."

"Well, do you trust me now?" I said as I smirked at her and put my hand on hers.

"Yeah, I guess I do," she smirked back as she let our fingers intertwine.

Her hand feels warm and soft, which is really surprising since she practices karate. I feel warm inside, I just want to hug her right now. I want to give her that warm feeling as well. That's it! I'm ready!

"So, you want to know why we decided to be on your side?" I said as I pulled her up from the grass.

"Sure."

"Well, we.... uhm..." oh man! This is harder than I thought!

"You can do it, bro!"

What? Brick?!

"We believe in you!"

And Boomer?!

"What the?!" I turned and saw Momoko, Miyako, and my brothers trying to hide in the bushes.

"Sh!t, they saw us, get down, Bow head!" Momotaro said quickly pulling Momoko's head back in the bushes.

SLAP!

"Rude! That's no way to talk to your soon-to-be-girlfriend!" Momoko exclaimed.

"Geez, woman! Shut up!"

"Glad we're not like those two, right Miya?" I heard Miyazaki whisper.

"Really glad," Miyako whispered back giggling.

Looks like my bros succeeded and got what they wanted.

"Oh, looks like the whole gang is here," Kaoru said sweat dropping.

"Let's just pretend we didn't see them," I told her.

"Whatever," she said trying to hide a smile.

"So, uhmm.... back to what I was saying. We wanted to get to know you better and..." I took a deep breath. "Kaoru, I think that you're really awesome and cool and... ugh... I like you, okay? I know that I was an annoying jerk and I'm sorry for that... You made me feel like I was a real person and... I... I- I lo-"

I stopped and saw that a single shining tear managed to escape from her sparkling eyes. She sniffled and rubbed her eyes to get rid of the tears threatening to fall down her red cheeks.

"K-Katsu-...Butch, I-"

(HIM's P.O.V,)

Ohhhh! I cannot contain my excitement anymore! Once much thermal energy from the simultanious calamities of the Earth has reached my location, I will once again regain my power and take over the universe once and for all! Tría, dýo, éna ... Egó, o diávolos, tha párei sýntoma óla!
