I OWN NOTHING BUT THE PLOT

_______'s P.o.V.

Nico just came back to camp. And I, (y/f/n), his best friend, want to visit him. I dashed to Cabin 13, okay exaggerated, I just quickly went to his cabin since it wasn't far from mine.

"NICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" I scram as I furiously banged his door. "Don't kill the poor door, (n/n)," I heard him say. He opened the door, and I glomped him, both of us falling to the floor with Nico underneath.

"Oi! Be careful, (l/n)!," he scolded me as I got off him, grinning like a madman.

"Sorry! Missed you a great deal!" I hugged him again, this time not seeming like I was trying to choke him. He hesitantly hugged me back.

"So...what happened, Niks?" I asked.

"Nothing much. I traveled to Italy, you know, in search of any clues to my family and other stuff. Enough about that, how about you?" he said.

"Same. Normal camp life around here, a few newbies and what-nots. A few visits to the infirmary that got me stuck there for a few days," I said as his eyes widened. " Hey! It's nothing to worry about! Just fell off the lava wall, trying to save a kid from falling too high. I did save him, I became the cushion," I added while laughing.

"That is no laughing matter, ______. You could have been badly injured!" he told me and I rolled my eyes.

"No need to go all 'Mama di Angelo' on me right now. I've had ENOUGH from Will," I retorted. "Let's go for a walk in the forest now, shall we?"

"Fine," he said while crossing his arms and standing up.

"C'mon! Smile a bit now for me, would you?" He just stared at me as I whined. We started to walk towards the forest.

Nico's P.o.V.

We were just walking around the forest when a random bird flew near us and landed on top of my head. _________ squealed while muttering cute over and over again. I blushed at her smiles.

"Awwww," she whined as the bird flew away, probably scared at the person who looked like she wanted to strangle. it in a cute way, which is creepy. " I wish I could have taken a picture," she added. We continued to walk, chatting a bit. At one moment, our hands brushed and I felt sparks run up and down my spine. She had just that effect on me. I saw a blush creep onto her face, and I shook the thought of glomping her right now away.

'Don't think of having her, Nico,' I scolded myself. 'You'll end up getting hurt again. Besides, why would she like you?'

"Nico?" Her melodious voice shook me out of my thoughts."You alright there, pal?"

"Fine, I'm fine." We continued to walk around when suddenly she saw a log and we both sat down on it.

"You know-," We abruptly stopped because we spoke at the same time. "You go first, Nico," ________ said. I sighed. I guess...I needed to at least admit how I really felt about her.

"You know, I've been meaning to tell you for a while now, that I've been crushing on you ever since we met," I said silently, though I was sure she heard me due to her sharp senses.

"Soooo...you can read minds now?" I stared at her with a quizzical look on my face, and she giggled a bit (cute...terribly dam cute).

"I've been meaning to tell you that too, but you beat me to it," she said as she inched closer. I did so too. We both leaned in a bit.

"I've been meaning to tell you. Remember those times when I suddenly tried to tell you something but couldn't? That was me being shy," she said as she rubbed her neck and bit her lip (this is too good to be true~...wait...urgh what's up with me). I did remember. All those time, I also have been meaning to tell her but couldn't.

"So...technically...are we now officially together?" I asked out of nowhere. 'STUPID!' I scolded myself.

"Straight-forward, aren't you, eh?" she said smiling as we leaned closer and our lips touched. Girly thing to say, but it is real: you feel sparks in your stomach. The kiss was gentle, both of us being inexperienced (duh, I don't go around kissing -_-). After a few moments, we pulled apart.

Then all of a sudden she laughed. "Finally got you to smile!" she said, pumping her fists in the air. "Mr. Grumpy knows how to smile!"

"Just kiss me again, will you?" I said out of the blue again. She just grinned and kissed me.
