Chapter Nineteen
I do not own PJO or HoO, therefore I do not own the characters, Rick Riordan does.

I held my phone in my hand, nervousness sent shivers down my back. I turned my phone on and went to messages. I texted Annabeth.
'Hey, wanna come over to my house?" I wrote.
Then I waited, staring down on the screen as I awaited an answer or the familiar picture of the dots. Then they came, the all to familiar three dots.
When the dots morphed into a message excitement shot down my spine.
'Sure, when I can I come?' She responded.
'Uh, when's good for you?' I questioned.
'Whenever, when's good for you?' She asked.
'Whenever,' I responded.
'Stealing my words now, are you, Seaweed Brain?' She asked.
I felt my heart beat a little faster when I read that nickname, the one that she'd given me.
'You shouldn't be surprised, Wise Girl,' I answered.
'You know what, I'll come over right now,' she wrote.
'That would be great,' I responded.
I tuned my phone off. I put it down on my desk and I walked back to my bed. I sat down on my bed. It didn't go long before I started tapping my feet on the floor. The tapping sound was relaxing, and so I waited.
-
As soon the doorbell rang I practically jumped out of my bed. I ran out of my room and to the front door. I opened it and outside stood Annabeth. Her golden locks fell down her shoulders. Her grey eyes seemed as calculating and stormy as ever. A small smirk played at her lips.
"Well, looks like someone was excited," she said.
"Yeah, someone was," I answered.
I moved out of the doorway and gestures for her to come inside.
"Follow me," I said and showed her the way to my room.
When she first stepped into my room she looked around. Her gray irises moved around on the surface of her eyes. Then she turned towards me.
"Shall we play a game? Preferably one where we can learn more about each other?" Annabeth asked.
"Sure, how about we say something about each other, and the person it's directed to has to answer if it's true or false," I suggested.
"Sure," she answered.
We sat down on the floor, and started playing.
"You like reading," I guessed.
"Yeah I do, but with dyslexia it's a bit hard," she answered.
"I also have dyslexia," I said.
"Oh really, what a coincidence," she replied.
"Anyway, back to the game. You like the sea," she guessed.
"Yeah, what made you think so?" I asked.
"Well, your eyes. They're he exact color of the sea so, I was honestly just guessing.
"You've found your soulmate," I guessed.
"No, I haven't. Why would you think I have?" She asked.
"I guess it's just the way you act. Your confidence and all, like you complete control over your life," I said.
"Just cause I haven't found my soulmates doesn't make that statement untrue," she said.
"Well, kinda... I mean, you can't have complete control over your life if you don't know who your soulmate is," I said.
"No one has complete control over their lives. Life has its twists and turns and there is no way, even if I have found my soulmate, that I have complete control over my life. I don't, and I don't believe I'll ever have complete control over my life. We can try to control our lives, but I don't believe that's something we can succeed in," she said.
"Wow, that's some deep stuff," I said.
"Have you found your soulmate?" She asked.
"No, I haven't," I said.
"Are you... you know... dating someone?" She asked.
"What? No! What gave you that idea?" I asked her.
"You just seem like the type of guy who is dating someone," Annabeth said.
"Are you dating someone?" I asked her.
"No," she said.
"Well, let's try and see if we can change that. Annabeth Chase, do you want to go on a date with me?" I asked trying to sound confident and failing miserably.
"Seaweed Brain... of course I want to," she said.
"So, do yo wanna... like eat lunch on Saturday?" I asked.
"Sure," She said.
Ok, I know it's shorter then my usual chapters, but it's longer then last chapter. As I said I have writers block, but I think I'll get out of it soon. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
