Wow, I cannot believe that took me 8 whole years to rewrite this.

Thank you SO much to everyone that has continued to support me on this TMNT fanfic journey. I cannot wait to continue to show you all the storyline I have lined up for these characters.

As per usual, disclaimer:  I do NOT own the TMNT franchise. Nickelodeon does. The only characters I own are Shelby Bradford, Aiden Bradford, Tyler Bradford, Brianna Stockman, Monica Mireles, and the rest of the background characters that make up the former Squadron Beta X.

The next book should be released by the time you're reading this. It's titled Forgiveness [A HIAHS Novella]. This story is a bit of a deviation from the main story line and focuses almost solely on character development. It's also a switch up from having mainly Shelby's POV, as we will get to see the world through Monica's eyes :) 

Like I said, the Forgiveness is not technically one of the main books in the series, so you could technically skip the novella and still be able to understand the next book in the main series, but you would be confused by the complete tone shift between the end of this book and the beginning of that one. Plus god knows how long it'll take me to actually finish the novella- though it will be shorter in terms of the amount of chapters than the first and second books!

Another side note, but I've been slowly working on also publishing these fics to AO3. I've been using this process to edit and make sure the plot in cohesive, the grammar and spelling is correct, chapters are up to my standard in terms of proper length, things like that. And what I discovered in the process is that Christian Irvine, one of the Squadron Beta X members (and one of the more prominent ones, at that) is name I also used for a more insignificant character at the beginning of the first fic. I haven't decided whether the name of the more insignificant character or the Squadron Beta X members name is going to change, but once I decide, I will make the decision now and let you guys know accordingly, though I don't think we're going to be seeing too much of that particular character in the future anyways.
