Hayley's POV

"Hales!" Nika snaps, turning my attention to her scolding face "What do you think, Black or White?" she asks holding up two dresses. The black one looks hot and dangerous and the white one looks cute and innocent.

I point at the black one since it'll match her dyed black hair and piercing green eyes. She smirks "I know right! This would make me look so hot," she says mostly to herself as she strips and puts the dress on.

I cock an eyebrow and give her a questioning look. "I'm going on a double date with Lily. I have to be this guy Calum's date. She showed me a picture of him and it looks like there's two caterpillars fighting for survival on his face, and his nose is bigger than my tits!" she exclaims, making me drop my jaw and let out soundless laughs.

I then give her that 'Be nice' look and she rolls her eyes as she puts her make-up on. She then passes me her phone saying 'Check for yourself!' I check the photo and role my eyes. The guy is actually kinda hot. All he needs is to trim some of his eyebrows. But I'm not one to talk.

I squint down at him and then my eyes widen in recognition as I quickly run to my scrap albums. I find a picture of 1 year old me in the middle of my 2 year old cousins. Well I was turning 2 and Michael was turning 3 so...

I put the book in front of her and point at the picture. I then take the phone and point at both. She looks up at me "I'm going on a date with your cousin...?" she says, pulling a face of distaste.

She looks back at the photo and scrunches up her eyebrows, quickly scrolling through her phone until she finds the picture she was looking for. She puts the phone next to baby Michael's face and I notice that it's another guy.

This guy has blond dyed hair and looks like a total bad-ass.... Or he could pass for an EMO. "Yeah I know. When I saw their pictures I almost hit Lily cause I'd rather go on a double date with her if the Michael guy was my date, but nooo. He's her date," She says spitefully.

I give her the 'Be nice' look again and she takes a deep breath. "I mean why did Michael choose this guy as my date, why not one of his hot friends? Like this guy," she says showing me a picture of a blond guy that looks like a model.

I take her phone and type (Maybe because he wanted to be the hottest guy on the date, so Lily doesn't fall for another guy...?) and give it to her so she could read. After she finished reading she gave me a blank expression "True..." she finally says, grabbing her purse.

She is wearing her long black heeled boots that I gave her for her birthday and her hair reminds me of a lion's mane. She kinda reminds me of Scar from lion king, except, her skin is extremely pale and her scar is below her right breast on her ribcage. It's a long story.

She gives me a quick hug as she rushes out the door of my room in dad's mansion. We lived here when Dad was out of the country. Nika wasn't actually adopted by my dad; she was put in Savage Rejects Foster home for the special. She's just like a sister to me, plus she grew on my dad and he can tolerate her like his own daughter.

I ascend down the stairs to see both Nika and Lily. Lily looking more excited than Nika. "Jezus woman...! Stop bouncing!" she yells at Lily, making Lily give her a cold glare.

I head back into my room, hearing muffled voices, soon followed by a car engine starting. I go out to my balcony as a car drives out of our driveway. I push the little diamond chip on the back of my hand's skin connecting my thumb and my index finger.

This little diamond chip in my hand causes my hero suit to appear, replacing my clothes. My hair changed white and my eyes went shocking blue. The twirls came out from under my skin and my wings extended.

I had a white angel dress on that showed my stomach and belly ring. There was a long slit at my right thigh that made me look 'sexy' as Nika says. I had long white heel gladiator sandals that made my legs look 'yummy' as Lona said once.

I open my wings and jump of the balcony as I fly professionally over the parking lot of our house. I then change my body into about a thousand fireflies and make my way to the beach.

A few miles off shore I can see a party boat. I extend my hearing and hear teenage voices. Well they will defiantly be doing illegal things. I look at the speedboat by the deck and hear a car park nearby.

My firefly form extends over the large beach so people just think there are fireflies, instead of a big firefly blob flying together as one.

I then recognize Lily and Nika with Michael and Calum heading to the speed boat. Oh no... This isn't gonna end well.

"Uh... where are we going...?" Nika asks nervously. Nika never liked boats because she hates the creatures that lurk underneath the water. When we were little, we went the beach and we kind of swam a bit deeper than the others when a life guard yelled shark, but the current pulled us deeper and I couldn't yell for help when Nika suddenly went under the water. She survived though because of my hitting the shark on its nose and using my powers to turn mermaid since I also have the power to shift into magical creatures. We survived, but Nika refuses to go near the ocean without me or Lona.

"We're going to use that speedboat to get to the party boat over there, Calum aid pointing out towards the ocean. Nika's eyes widened but when she noticed the many fireflies she sighed and reluctantly climbed into the speedboat, clinging onto a very smug looking Calum, until her nails entered his skin and he started to look constipated.

I followed after the speedboat, close to Nika so she'd calm down. "What's with all the bugs," Calum said annoyed as he swatted some of my fireflies making all my fireflies fall into the water in pain.

I turned into a mermaid and swam to the boat instead since Calum just sprained my ankle when he swatted my firefly form. Nika started to freak out and when they got close to the boat she jumped on expertly like a cat.

When Calum finally boarded after everyone else, Nika hit him across the face and stomped away inside the boat. Michael burst out laughing causing Calum to punch him in the shoulder, hard.

I change into my firefly form again and ascent out of the water and toward the roof. I feel like a stalker... I take five of my fireflies and let them enter the boat and look for Nika. I found her drowning some shots as one of my fireflies flew in front of her face making her eyes widen and sigh in relief.

"I thought you drowned..." she says relieved. "Stay close..." she adds and I fly toward the rest of my fireflies as she continues to do shots.

I let my form change back into an Angel as I sit and watch the moon. I press the tiny chip on my hand and shift back into my human form, still watching the moon.

I hear a few excited guy voices and look down to see a happy looking Calum as he suddenly jumps into the ocean, making my eyes widen, but I didn't make a move. 'He sprained my ankle, he can drown,' I think to myself. But that's evil... Frick!

Just as I'm about to help I hear him come up for air and say 'Wooo!' happily. Oh so he wants to die... that's nice. It doesn't make me evil if he wants to die.

I hear a squeaky laugh, followed by a giggling guy... Giggling...? I look down to see two blonds laughing at Calum. The one with curly hair looks around for something to get him back on the boat probably as the other one talk to Calum amused. Can I just say that is voice is deep...? Breathe...

I feel a slight vibration in my right arm and body sensing there's danger. I press the tiny chip again and shift into my hero form as I change into my firefly form and fly to the side of the boat. One of my fireflies touch the water and I quickly sense the danger as I shift back almost immediately and quickly fly to Calum, nabbing him out of the water, 3 seconds before a huge shark jumps up from that exact spot.

I turn and drop Calum onto the dock where the guys are standing. The guys' eyes where huge as they stare at Calum, but they quickly look at me right before I burst into a thousand fireflies and make my way to the roof as I hear the guys hastily talking to Calum, checking if he was okay.

Nika then suddenly stumbles outside yelling at them to shut up, making me chuckle soundlessly. Suddenly a vibration is felt on the side of the boat making Nika stubble back and fall from the side of the boat. Her hand grabs onto the realign as I hastily fly over and grab her other arm as I lift her into the air and fly up quickly as the shark jumps up again.

"Jezus! What was that a Megalodon?!" Nika yells startled yet drunk. I stand next to her with my left foot in the air since Calum sprained it as I answer her question with a shrug. The guys run over checking if Nika was okay, but the quaffed blond just stares at me in awe... I think...

The shark jumps up against the side of the boat really close to Calum. But what shocks me is that Calum punched it, making it fly back into the water. Calum looks like a deer caught in headlights as he looks at both me and Nika.

I quickly burst into a thousand fireflies and fly toward the roof again. I guess this is my happy place... the roof of a boat. Lovely.

Suddenly red smoke forms in front of me after I changed into my Angel self. Michael pops up from the smoke as I let out a startled screak, which in my case is a startles squeak. He grabs me and we suddenly appear in front of the small group.

"OMG, I recognize you now! You're Angel Firefly!" Calum yelled happily. I quickly move my hand over his mouth, causing him to lick it.

I retreat my hand and look at the slobber with wide eyes and a face of distaste. I wipe it off on Nika causing her to stand straighter and give my crazy mad face "I don't want his slobber!" she yells making me slap a hand over her mouth.

Lily suddenly appears behind us, looking at the group confused. "Where's you go?" she asks Michael and he shrugs. The curly blond frowns at her shocked and confused, with a tint of hope. She glares at Michael, grabbing both me and Nika with anger as we burst into flames and suddenly appear inside Savage Rejects Industry.

"I can't believe he lied to my face! I'm never going on a date with that prick ever again!" she says and angrily storms up to her room, since we were in the middle of the living room where Lona, Maika, Sam and Risk sat watching us.

"I just hope they survive with that Megalodon around the ship... But I guess that Calum guy can handle it," Nika says as she plops onto the couch. I press the tiny diamond chip and turn back as I go to my room upstairs.

I enter my room and look out of the widow at all the city lights. The Savage Rejects Industry Building is in the city because it's for the super heroes that already know how to handle their powers and work as a team with everyone else here.

The boarding school my mom owned is somewhere in the middle of nowhere between the forest. It's there where they teach you to use your powers and control them, before they sent you to the Savage Rejects facility, and after that they team you up and send you here.
