Chapter Eight

You guys should check out Loukas2357 new story! He's doing the same "you submit the characters" thing, and yeah.

So, did any of you guys see Eurovision? If any of you did, which song was your favorite? I loved most of them, but, as I am a Swedish person, my favorite has to be Too Late For Love. Also, I have remembered this thing my mom told me years ago, and it's funny so I want to share it with you guys.

Like I said, I'm Swedish, I live in Sweden, we speak Swedish and people are convinced that Russia want Sweden, to like make it a part of Russia or something. There are reports about Russian submarines being spotted in Sweden pretty often. Well, let's get to the story. It happened several years ago and Russia were sending submarines. So, instead of acting violently (cause Swedes aren't violent, we literally haven't participated in war for 200, possibly 300 years) the Swedish Peace Organization put a sign out in the ocean by the submarines. On it a message was written in Morse code. Not a threat or anything. It said "if you're gay, come this way" which is hilarious and apparently the Russians fled immediately. No offense to anybody who's Russian.

Only a few seconds after Loukas woke up he knew that something was wrong. He didn't recognize the room which he woke up in which meant that he had been moved by someone... or he'd walked in his sleep. He felt something cool on his back and tried to move his hands but found they were tied to something behind him. He felt at the thing they were tied to and immediately found that it was cool in touch. A pole, he realized. His hands were tied to a pole. He rolled his eyes, did Madeline really think tieing his hands would really stop him? He felt his hands being encased in metal, pros of being a symbiote. He burned the roped and moved away from the pole. The metal faded away at his will and he stood up and looked around the room. It was just a normal room, nothing special. The room wasn't even decorated. The walls were white and was the floor, it was so fucking bland

Loukas found a note laying on the floor, it was written in latin. As he could speak every language that exists and has existed he could read it quite easily. Apparently this was some type of challenge. He had to search for clues in the room which would lead him to some other place where more clues would be located. Loukas let the note fall to the floor and he scanned his eyes over the room. It was empty so there weren't any drawers he could look through. He started to press on the tiles on the floor, maybe in of them was loose. He searched for a while before he found a loose tile. He ripped the tile out of the floor and found a note there, also in latin. Loukas wondered if the other had to do this as well, and if their notes were in latin as well.

(Just so you know, I've used Google Translate and I always do for other languages unless I say so)

Gratulationes nostras accipe ob invenire Bio-Tech est nota. Ut prius instructus est ut omnes clues sunt, ac unum per se, ut ad metam ducet vos. Iam tempus primum clue. Volitantem flamine spirat ubi aqua ire.

(Translation: Congratulations on finding the note, Bio-Tech. As instructed you must find the clues, one by one and they will lead you to the goal. Now, the clue. Go to where the breeze blows and the water roams. (While this is what I put into translate, this is what you get if you translate it back: Congratulations on to find Bio-Tech is very familiar. Such as has been taught, so that everyone is clues there are, and the one by the other, so that he will lead you to the finish line. Now, a first clue. Where the wind blows the water, they would fly with.)

Loukas rolled his eyes, Madeline really sucked at writing clues. It was obvious that he needed to go to the beach or the ocean or something. But the question remained, how was he gonna get out of the mansion? And was there an ocean outside? Only one way to find out. Loukas stuffed the note into his pocket and raced out of the room, kicking the door down on his way out. He ran down the hallway, his eyes searching for a window or some way out of the mansion. When he finally spotted one he punched it so it turned into glass shards as it shattered. He jumped out of the window and quickly pulled out a rope which he had fastened to the floor of the mansion. He climbed down the stone walls holding onto his rope. When he was only a meter or so above the ground he let go of the rope and landed in the ground. He looked around and found them on an island surrounded by sea. The very ocean near the beach was beautiful turquoise but the further away from the shore it was, the darker it got. Loukas felt a slight feeling of disappointment in his gut when he saw that there was only sea, he literally couldn't see one millimeter of land in the distance.

"Fuck," Loukas cursed.

  ----------------------------

Alve woke up with a headache, which was truly annoying. Alve did not like headaches. It didn't help that he was tied to a cold pole. Great, he thought. What a way to start the morning. Alve started making small movement to loosen to the rope so that he could eventually slide out of it. Luckily, his idea worked and he felt the rope loosen slightly. He continued to wear out the ropes until they were loose enough to escape. He slowly slid out of the ropes, it wasn't an easy thing. By the pole he saw an envelope with his name on it. He scrambled over to it and opened it.

(For this I did not use google translate)

(Translation: Alve, how are you doing? Probably not so well, that's not too hard to believe. This is a challenge, but not one you can say no to. You must find a clue in this room which will lead you to the next clue, which will lead you to the next clue, which will lead you to the next clue, which will- you get what I mean. Good luck.

Sincerely (if you were to directly it to english it would mean With friendly greetings)

"Med vänliga hälsningar?" Alve scoffed. "Mer som med ovänliga hälsningar."

(Translation: "With friendly greetings" "More like with unfriendly greetings.")

Sometimes Alve slipped into Swedish, it just happened. It was his first language. His family had moved to the US when he was two, but he'd kept on learning Swedish in the US. His mother was swedish and so was his father. They'd moved back after the school shooting, they just didn't like how unsafe it was in the USA, but they'd moved back when he was 18.

But now was not the time to think about the past. Alve's eyes glanced around the room, trying to find where the clue was hidden. He had no idea of where it was, which was to be expected. The room wasn't furnished, only a black carpet which looked so out of place in the bland, white room. He moved the carpet to the otherside of the room, maybe the clue was under the carpet, which it was. Oh, my god. Is Madeline that bad at hiding things?

Alve almost felt a little bad for her- wait, who was he kidding? He would never feel bad for Madeline. The only thing Alve would ever feel for Madeline was hate, pure, undying, hate. Alve opened the envelope and read the note inside.

Så du hittade den första ledtråden! Bra jobbat, Alve.

(Translation: So, you found the first clue! Good job, Alve. Now you must go to the place where you first saw blood and terror. Do you see that small, phone thing beside you? Type in the address or the place, and it'll take you there. When you're there you must do what your mother told you not to do and you know exactly what I'm talking about)

"Why?" Alve choked out, even though he knew exactly why. It wasn't just because she was basically a psychopath- no, she wanted to test their moral barriers. She wanted to see how far she could make them go. She wanted to break them, break them beyond repair so she could use them without their resistance. To be honest, it was a good plan- for an evil psycho- but that didn't mean Alve liked or appreciated it. He wouldn't let her do this, not to him and not to the others. An image of Blythe flashed into her mind, her face when she found out that Madeline had Ava. Her expression was the same very time Madeline threatened Ava. Another image flashed through his mind, Madelines sadistic smile as she watched Blythe pull the trigger of the gun. Alve could only imagine the thoughts that had been racing through her mind during that moment. Had she thought of the poor life she'd just taken or was seconds from taking? Had she thought about how she was saving Ava? Had she thought about where this would lead? Alve remembered what he'd thought of. He'd thought of the blood that was now on his hands. How he'd taken a life. But most importantly he'd thought about how he'd failed his mother, how he'd failed Aaron. And once again, he wished he could just forget.
