"What are you talking about?" I said in a tone that i've never said before.

"God your an idiot, are you saying you didn't know about it this whole time?" He asked, everyone else was silent, not even Lukas got up from the ground. "This is why I kept you. Your aura, I felt it from the moment I saw you. You have powers, and it's probably stronger than you-"

"I don't believe you." I interrupted, "my whole life I've been a normal girl, nothing else. Why would that change now?"

"Are you saying you don't feel that power flowing inside of you?" He said, and I fell silent. "Your determination makes your true self come out."

"Then how do you explain Notch, huh? I was fighting him, i've been through tons of shit to get here, wouldn't you think i'd do it then?"

"Fear and determination are two different things."He said quietly, he turned and flickered his glowing eyes around like nothing happened and walked to the wither skeleton. "We need to start-"

"NO!" I screamed at him, making him stop. "This whole time, I've... been holding in my emotions. But i'm not anymore. Your right, I'm scared, i'm TERRIFIED. But you know things we do not, there is obviously a bigger picture here," my emotions were escaping my body one by one, it almost made my me tremble. This whole time I've been afraid to tell Herobrine how I felt, to ask him what was happening.I got kidnapped, than escaped to unknown places and for some reason I couldn't stop following him. I didn't want what happened to him happen to me. Everyone stood silent, even Herobrine. Their eyes were wide and surprised by my outburst. But I wasn't finished yet.

"You know things we do not. Your showing more and more clues that your holding secrets." I looked at Lukas and the Wither skeleton, and back to Herobrine. "How do we not know that he is the enemy? How do we know that your not leading us down a path of death?" I said angrily.

"Hay now.." Lukas said and was suddenly by my side. "I know hes a dick and all, but don't you think this is kinda extreme?It looks like you want to kill him.Plus, your the one who wanted to follow him before."

He was right...But back then it all felt different.Ever since passing through the portal my stomach hasn't felt anything but queasy when around him, and I know it wasn't from the side effects of jumping into another dimension. I didn't know how to explain how I felt about his aura other than pure evil.But there was something more obvious on the outside that no one noticed before.

"No, it's not actually." I laughed. "You see, I also know things you do not." I grabbed a sword from the ground that was flung by one of the guys.

"Hay HAY!" Lukas grabbed my arms from resist me from moving, "Chill out (Y/N)! What has gotten into you?"

"Let me go!" I squirmed in his arms, trying to escape from his grip. " Look at his eyes! His eyes!" Lukas held his grip on me, but looked toward the direction of Herobrine.

"What about them?" He questioned, looking back at me as I slowly started to stop struggling to go deeper into conversation.

"There glowing!" I said in a loud tone."Remember before? He lost his powers! And his eyes lost there glow, but suddenly there back? How did you not notice? It means he held his powers this whole time! He lied to us!" I continued to struggle against him grip until he let go and backed away from me. "Ever since we entered the portal, I don't know how, but I felt a dark aura coming from him."

"Knowing that i'm something dark just proves more that you have powers." He said, he looked over at the others standing by.

"What...?" I said, confused. Almost in slow motion, he quickly ran over to me in an instant, something a human couldn't do, it was almost as if he was teleported. His arm slammed up against my stomach,knocking the air out of my lungs.As he pushed me inside of the portal, screams and panic came from Lukas and Jordan as I saw purple material dissolve my body. I was suddenly on the other side of the portal.

I hit the ground with a heavy thud and the searing pain in my stomach and stinging migraine came back to paralyse me. It hurt a lot, but it wasn't as bad as the first time, what made it worse was the punch I got which made my lungs burn everytime I took a single breath. My eyelids shut heavily as I held my head in place to keep it from throbbing in pain. I suddenly felt arms wrap around my armpits and heaved me up off the ground.

"What the hell happened?" I heard a muffled voice that I couldn't recognize at first, but as my head cleared I remembered his deep and intimidating remarks he made only a few moments ago.I tried everything to get away from him,expecting him to pummel me to the ground after what I tried to do to him.I kicked and shoved him off of me and backed away as far as possible. "What the hell is with you?" He replied.

"You just shoved me back into the portal!You punched me in the gutter and looked like you were about to kill me!What are YOU talking about?" I stood in a fighting position, not knowing what to expect.

"WHAT THE HELL? WHY ARE YOU MAD? I DID NOTHING! What are YOU talking about?!" He replied in a loud voice,very upset with the accusing I had put on him.He put his hand up in the air like he was going to protest again, but when I tensed at his presence, he lifted up both of his palms in defense,showing he wasn't going to do anything to me.

I turned around when I heard a crackling noise come from the portal. My eyes widened when I saw the once beautiful portal slowly evaporate and the stone around it crack and fall to the ground.In the end it was nothing but ashes, but I suddenly remembered I had more important issues I had to deal with. When I turned back around to look back at the mysterious man behind me, it was too late.His hands had already locked on my shoulders tightly so I could not resist his grip before I could even comprehend what was happening.

"Let me g-" I started to struggle against his grip. But stopped when he tightened it to the point it hurts and would leave bruises.

"Just shut up for a minute!" He shook me back and forth to get me to look up at him, he looked down to stare into my eyes and got closer to my face so I couldn't look away, but I avoided eye contact as much as I could and turned my head away.When I did, I could feel his hot breath run down my neck and it sent chills all the way down my spine. I still felt sick to my stomach and I wanted to vomit, the portal made me drowsy and I didnt know how to react to his big hand restraining me from moving.It almost helped me stand up because at any second now I felt like I was going to pass out.

"You guys entered the portal and when I tried to follow it wouldn't let me through, it was like there was an invisible barrier keeping me from entering. I stood there for a while trying to figure out what the hell happened and how I was going to go through, but you just popped right out and passed out on the floor.I didn't know what to do so I just picked you up but you tried to punch me.Now were here, so calm your little ass down and tell me what happened."He sounded so serious, so sincere. I slowly breathed, slowly calming down after he stopped yelling. Oddly enough,his warm and deep voice kept my nerves on the low. Realising now that the dark aura was gone from around him was also very reassuring.But I was still very confused and I still didn't trust him.

In the end I still told him everything that happened after we entered the portal,I even noticed that his eyes weren't glowing anymore. His grip on me never let go but he did loosen it up a bit. The whole time I talked in a low,shaky and exhausted voice. If that was something I could admit than he probably noticed as well, and surely enough, he did.

"You sound like you one throated a cactus," he said in a very sincere voice, and when I did not reply right away he gave me a look like he was actually concerned I did.

"I didn't one throat a cactus you idiot," I said it in the same tone again.I realised that my comment might have been aggressive and took it back."Sorry...My brain is just not processing at the moment."

"No shit, you look awful." He said, a bit to bluntly. I guess there was no better way of describing how I felt though."Maybe that portal got to your head a little bit dontcha think?"

"I'm not lying I swear to God my mind is in the right place right now. How else would you explain you not getting through the portal, and it magically disappearing like that, hmh?" By now, I was sending him an ominous glare even though he wasn't taking me seriously.

"Calm down I was joking."He let go of me and turned around.

"Oh so now ur making jokes?" I retorted.He was surprised by my sudden outburst, not too long along I was afraid to talk to him, now I acted like I was in charge and ready to pummel him.But he noticed something I didn't.

"Your shaking." He said in a nonchalant voice. I was very confused of what he meant until I realised that my body was in fact going like a leaf. My breathing was also unstable and I was in a stance ready to fight.

"Look..." he took a moment to sigh and think about what he was going to say. " I understand your scared but... I seriously don't know what happened when you went through the portal, I promise to you that what I said was true. My powers are still-" he stopped, realising what he said and finding the answer to our questions."That's it!"

"Huh...?" I stopped my stance and looked at him cluelessly.

"That's it! That's why you thought that was me, when I had my powers, I could turn into somebody and look the same way as they did! Notch must have took my powers and disguised as me!"

I fell to my knees.

"Huh.. what's wrong, you still don't believe me?"He looked at me as I lowered my head to the floor.

"I'm tired..." I said, while he responded with a loud 'HUH?' " I'm tired of running around, and I'm scared, I'm really scared. Not just for me, but for everyone here. I don't know why, but if someone gets hurt I feel responsible because I could've been there to help. This whole trip has basically been a mental breakdown for me. I kept telling myself I want to help but to be honest, I wanna go home. I don't even know if my parents are, for the love of God. And.."

"God dammit. Not this bullshit again." There he went cursing at me again, even though I was kinda relieved he did because it just proved he was the real Herobrine I knew."I told you already to go. I honestly don't need you anymore and your getting In the way of shit anyway, but ur so determined to stay even though you don't want to. It's annoying as hell."He said with no sympathy in his voice.

I'm so confused... one minute he actually looked worried for and the next he's telling me to leave.It hurt,it really did, which is a weird thing to say when I'm basically use to him insulting me. Heck, he was the 'king of the nether' for aethers sake. It was hard to hear that my help was effortless and he didn't care at all in the end. If that was how he truly felt, then what was wrong with leaving? I was only here because of him

"What about the others...?" I asked quietly, once again being afraid he would scream at me any second.

"I'm sure I can find a way to get out." He said.

"And...Notch?" I didn't need to ask about him, but it didn't matter because he responded with a blank expression."if my presence means that little to you... I'll be on my way." I stood up and slowly headed toward the exit.

"Good.." Was all that he could reply, but it made my heart freeze for a moment before I continued up the stairs and into the main household. Most people would've been happy to escape this man, but why was I of all the people who felt like crying when he was the one wanting me to leave? It didn't add up right.

"It's for the best..." He slowly lowered his head to the ground. For the first time in his life,Herobrine felt lonely and guilty.
