Part 35: Sometimes All Someone Needs is a Little... Sleep
You sighed. As much as you loved this awesome fanfiction-like chapter in your life, you were getting really tired of Notch, Steve, and their crap. But on the bright side, at least Steve wasn't crazy. At least, not that crazy.
Steve ran up to you and squeezed you, picking you up and earning a growl from Hero. "I missed you so much! I hope you still like me... Most of that stuff was Notch,"
You coughed. "Ack! C-can't b-breathe!" You stammered.
"Oh, sorry!" Steve apologized as he let you go.
"It's fine,"
"No. It's not," Hero snarled. "She's mine,"
You gave a sassy snap. "Now I ain't nobody's. I choose and I decide. If I say Steve, I say Steve. If I say Hero, I say Hero. And nobody will change my mind,"
They both squeaked. "Why does he get a nickname..." You heard Steve mumble.
"Okay!" Slenderman called. "We have work to do! (Y/N) is saying that Notch is planning something. And knowing that this is his game and his world, we're up against a big force,"
Everyone nodded. You suddenly felt extremely tired and woozy. Your head slowly fell to the side as sleep started to claim its victim. Soon sleep was all you could think about and you passed out, landing with a dramatic thud.
~Hero's POV~
I was terrified. One minute (Y/N) was standing there, awake as ever, and the next, she was on the floor snoring away. She hadn't done that before, the last time she did something close to that, she was aware of it. I don't think she was this time. I picked up (Y/N) bridal style and poked her nose. "Are you awake? Are you okay? (Y/N)?!" I asked in panic.
(Y/N) responded with a soft snore and a twitch. She slept not too long ago... It was only about five hours or so since we left. I was starting to feel a little tired myself. Problem is, I don't get tired. I can get a little groggy and cranky at times if I'm in pain, but that's about it.
I couldn't fight it any longer and soon passed out with (Y/N) landing on my chest as I fell.

~Your POV~
You woke up to blackness. Nobody else was there; just blackness. For a moment, the first thought that came to your mind was a Creepypasta bothering you, but you shook that off because Hero or Slender would rip them to shreds. Besides, none of the Creepypastas you had read made you pass out before haunting you, you did it yourself. Many thoughts crossed your mind, some were assuring and some were horrifying and gory. While you were walking around, you noticed two white blips of light in the distance. You weren't even really thinking who it could be, you just started walking toward it like a fly to a lightbulb. It took for what felt like hours to get to the lights, but you finally made it. You saw Hero's face illuminated by his eyes, but just his face. It's like a floating head. Can I really be sure this is my Hero and not some sort of messed up creation? You thought.
"(Y/N)? Is that you?" Hero's head asked.
"Uh... Yeah," you replied, still quite creeped out.
"Oh good! I can't see crap right now because I've been saving energy, hold on just a second," Suddenly Hero's eyes practically turned into flashlights and illuminated a large area in front of him. Except, there was no area to illuminate. All that shined was you, and if Hero looked at the ground, it just showed a black hole of emptiness absorbing all light shown to it.
"I this... The Void?" You asked.
"No, or, maybe. I don't know. If this is because we passed out, it couldn't be. Our bodies have to be put into the Void. Not our consciences,"
"How long do you think it's been?"
"How long what's been?"
"Being here, where ever this is,"
"I don't know. Being in the Nether most of the time and hardly ever sleeping messes up your perception of time,"
"Time's a funny thing," you started. "To those of us whom haven't mastered time travel or managed to reach the fifth dimension, time's just a straight line that goes on continuously until some unmeasurable force-- such as death-- puts a stop to it. But when one person's timeline ends, another's begins and yet another's continues. Oh, and psychology is amazing too! There are just so many undiscovered things about the brain, like free will! I mean, is it really just humans that have evolved enough to gain free will and not just live distinctly on instincts?"
"You're nuts," Hero stated, chuckling.
"Yes, and no. For society, sure, I am completely and utterly insane because I am different and passionate about things and apparently from what I have witnessed, I actually have morals. But for reality, I am just an individual with my own DNA structure and my own thoughts. I am not controlled by some demon whispering in my ear and I am not just one person of a million others. I am me,"
"What are you? (Y/N) or some motivational speaker?"
"I dunno,"
