The Nether.

I sat in the tree I teleported to and stared at the ground. I just killed the town I've worked so hard to protect. I put my head in my hands. What am I gonna do now?

You could go on a ki-

NO! I'M SO SICK OF YOU! ALL YOU'VE DONE TO ME IS TRY TO KILL ME! WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE TO YOU?

You think I want to do this? Do you think I want to kill you? No, I'm sure I could be doing other things, I'm sure I could live an actual life. But this is my job. Notch sent me to kill you, and if I don't, well, I'm dead.

You're dead anyway so it doesn't matter what you do.

Oh, but it does. Do you think Mojang would like a visit?

No.

Awww come on. I stood and flew away from Mojang and the burning town. Fine, the hard way then.

I groaned and grabbed my head. Stop!

No. I don't think I will.

I fell out of the sky and gripped my head tightly. The pain was worse than normal, and it seemed to spread through my body.

You know, I really hate it when you fight. It makes my job alot harder. All you have to do is fly to Mojang, I'll take care of the rest.

No! I'm not letting you force me to hurt anymore people.

Who said I was going to make you hurt them?

I finally gave in to the pain and agreed to fly to Mojang. I didn't land outside the building, but I stayed hidden in the woods. Happy?

Not yet. "Theirs still a few things I need to take care of." Entity said as he teleported before me.

I tried to lunge at him, but failed to do so. He still had the ability to control me and stopped my attacks. "What are you doing here?" I heard a fimiliar voice ask. "I thought you said you were alone?"

Entity turned around and over his shoulder I saw Notch staring at us in shock. "I was, but I figured you wanted to know who was responsible for the attack on the town yesterday."

Notch stared at me. "Brine? You attacked them? I thought you were trying to protect......why would you hurt them?"

I started to speak, but Entity interrupted me. "He's too dangerous to be allowed into your great world of Minecraft. I think you should kill him."

"No! I had no control over my actions! I coul-" I was muffled by a gag that Entity had formed over my mouth. I continued to protest, even if no one could understand what I said.

"Notch, look at him, he's delusional he doesn't know what he's talking about." Entity said with a smile.

Notch looked from me to Entity and back again. He shook his head. "I'm not gonna kill him. No one deserves to die." His eyes rested on me for a long moment.

Jeb had walked up behind him with Ben. "What the? Brine? What are you doing here." Ben asked looking at me. "And why are you here?" He hissed at Entity who didn't even flinch.

"Oh, I'm just, tossing out the trash."

I tried again to lunge at Entity and managed to catch him off guard and pinned him to the ground. I ripped the gag from my mouth and stared into his eyes. "I told you, next time I saw you I'd kill you. You forced me to hurt them. You made me turn on my friends, my own brother. This is your fault." I sommoned my dimond sword that Ben gave me. I growled as Entity pushed me off.

"What are you talking about?" He asked acting dumb. "I've been doing as I was told to. I was making sure the world is balanced, but with you dystroying towns, I can't do that can I?"

I glared at him. "Don't act stupid. You and I both know that the towns destruction was your fault."

Entity smiled at me. "You see, Notch." He started. "He's completely delusional." Entity said the last words slowly.

I ran at him once again. This time he dodged me and Ben grabbed me. "Ben, let go! He's monster, he'll kill me just let. Me. Go!"

"Brine, you're acting stupid. Entity was created to keep the world in balance, not to kill you." Jeb said. Him and Notch walked between Entity and I.

"Oh, really? Well, he's doing a great job at failing his mission, isn't he?" I spat.

Notch stayed silent for a moment. "No, I think you're the one failing your mission." Notch said nodding to Ben.

I struggled against his grip for a moment before I felt a object hit the back of my head. I fell to my knees and the world slowly started to fade to black. Entity walked closer to me and kneeled next to me. "I told you, you can't win. Now Minecraft will be mine, and you can't do a thing about it." He wispered so only I could hear. I felt another object hit the back of my head and I fell unconscious.

~~A few hours later~~

I groaned and opened my eyes. I sat up and looked around I was in a totally different place. One that I've never seen before. The air was heavy and lava was everywhere. The only color other than the lava was red. Notch stood in front of me and looked down into my eyes. "Where the hell am I?" I asked.

"You just answered your own question." Notch said. His voice laced with dissapointment. "Welcome to the Nether 'Herobrine' or as you call it, hell. I'd tell you what everything here is, but sadly I don't even know. I'll leave you to figure that out yourself." He walked away to a glowing portal.

"Notch, I didn't mean to hurt them. I-I had no control, it was Entity." I said not moving from my spot against a wall.

Notch stopped walking. "I know, I was the one who told him to do it."

I stared at him in shock. "Why?"

"You're too dangerous to be in the overworld." He said walking through the bright purple portal. After a moment, it vanished and I was all alone.

We interrupt this chapter to give you a third person pov...in the overworld...

Notch walked through the portal and smiled. "Finally, now no one's in my way." Notch closed his eyes and transformed into Entity 303. "Thank god I'm out of that stupid body. Now, to plot my revenge on Minecraft."

Now back to your regularly scheduled chapter....and Herobrine's pov...

I stood and walked to the edge of the lava pool. I ran my hand over the rough brick wall that I had been leaning on. Brick. Ok, at least I reconize something here. The brick like block was a dark red. Nether brick. The ground was red and seemed to stay lit forever. Netherack. I walked by some sand like substance that seemed to have something on it. As I got closer, I realized they were lost souls, banished to the sand. Soulsand. I looked up and saw that the roof of the world was covered with spots of glowing blocks. They seemed to shine like clusters of stars. Glowstone. Great, now that I've named some of the blocks here, what do I do? I sighed and sat on the edge of the lava pool I walked to. I ran a hand through my messy hair, and closed my eyes. I stayed that way for what seemed like hours.

After a while, I heard something behind me. I stood and turned around. The thing was slightly floating and seemed to be smoking. It shot a small ball of fire at me, I lazily blocked it and shot back at it. The thing backed off a bit and fired again, it attempted to lite me on fire, but had no success. Fire resistant, good to know. I shot at the thing again and killed it. In its place was a rod of some sort. Ok, now I know their are mobs here trying to kill me, I guess I'll have to name them so I don't forget. Ok so the thing I just killed, Blaze.

I looked into the deeper parts of the lava pool. I noticed some more mobs floating in it, completely unfazed by the hot substance. They looked like a scientist tried to do an experiment, and failed. The thing was part pig part zombie. Zombie pig-man? Wow, see weird mobs here huh? Oh, well.

I continued to look around my surroundings and named a few more mobs. Their was the Gast, I giant, crying beast that shot charges. A wither skeleton, a black skeleton that uses a sword and withers any mob that attacks it. And finally, we have the magma cube. It acted like the slime in the overworld, but was made of magma (duh, Hero. It's a magma cube). Figure out what mobs are here, check. Figure out what this place is made of, check. Now, I need to figure out how I'm gonna live here.

I walked back to the Nether brick wall and placed a hand in it. What are you connected to? I looked up and tried to see the top with no success. So, I flew up and landed on some sort of bridge thing. Both directions seemed to lead somewhere. Great, more exploring. I sighed and turned left. As I walked on, I saw huge buildings and hundreds of mobs. What is this, a town? A kingdom? I looked up and saw a gigantic castle. Kingdom, noted, that means their has to be a king, and he's not gonna be happy that I'm here.

I continued walking forword until some of the mobs, guards most likely, stopped me. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" It asked. I was shocked I could understand the wither skeleton.

"Thats none of your business. But if you must know, I'm trapped here so if you don't mind, get out of my way, before I make you."

The skeleton looked shocked. "Wait, you can understand me?"

I nodded. "Yah, so what?"

He looked at me in shock, then he turned to the blaze next to him. "Go inform the king he's here." The blaze nodded and flew into the castle."

I watched the blaze leave. "What's going on? Were you expecting me?"

The skeleton looked at me and said nothing for a while. "All will be clear soon, Herobrine."

I took a step back. "How the hell do you know my name?"

He said nothing and the blaze came back. "He'll see you now."

"Who?" I asked getting really annoyed. "Can I get some answers?"

"Follow me." The skeleton demanded as he walked into the castle. I followed, knowing it was useless to fight. The skeleton kneeled and bowed his head to another Wither skeleton. This one had a crown and was sitting in a quartz throne. "My king, I have brought him."

The king looked at me and I glared back. "Thank you Drake, you are dismissed." Drake nodded and left. The king looked me up and down before he spoke. "You were banished here right?"

I nodded, "Yah, I guess I was." I remembered the look on Notch's face before he left. A look of pure dissapointment and hatred.

"You are Herobrine, dystroyer of lives, conquer of towns?"

I looked away. "I guess so." I said sadly. "If that how the worlds see me."

"You are the one to save us all are you not?" The king asked.

"I gue-" My eyes snapped back to the king. "Wait, what?"

"You are the one to save us all." The king repeated.
